My spouse and I stayed here for 3 nights where we treated ourselves to staying in one of the suites. Though described as a midrange hotel, this is a newer property with a modern style and rooms and common areas in very good condition. The oceanview suite had a nice patio, the room was very quite. The pool, hot tub and gym area were all in good condition and we took advantage of them for couple of the days. Breakfast was the typical Comfort Inn self serve style, but really had the various choices you would want. Coffee was also available all day. Excellent parking with large wide spaces, access to the community both front and back of the property, where we felt safe all the time despite there being a small amount of homelessness in the area which so many communities are experiencing. Also within walking distance are various tour companies, the ferry to Quadra and Cortes Islands, the circular walking path around the community, various good restaurants, cafes and pubs, shops and a liquor store just across and slightly down the street. If you have a car, it’s a short drive to various grocery, cafe, restaurants and other shops. For recreation, check out the nearby Elk Falls and the walking paths to experience some beautiful nature hikes while not being overly remote. There are a couple car parks along the highway. Lastly, hotel staff were all welcoming and courteous. All in all, an excellent stay!…

Superb friendly and clean stay. From check in to breakfast to the well serviced room. Great location to use as a base to visit the local area. Staff are a credit to this hotel. VJust check the local restaurants are open on Mondays and Tuesdays!

A very nice Comfort Inn. Seemed new. Nice public spaces. Clean and quiet room. Good location. Decent breakfast. Parking lot was very tight with a full hotel. Would stay again if in area - and would certainly recommend.

We only stayed one night as we were going on an early excursion out of Campbell River and this hotel was very close to the meeting point. We found the room very spacious with lots of natural light and the bathroom was clean and very nice too! We arrived a little earlier than check-in and our room was available so that was a bonus. We also asked if we could have a late check out as the excursion finished at 12pm and they were happy to accommodate us. Also we had to meet early in the morning so we would miss our included breakfast so we were offered a “take away” breakfast that we could pick up early in the morning. I’m always worried about noise during the night but my fears were unfounded and we had a good night’s sleep with no noisy interruptions from rude guests going to rooms late at night. I have high expectations when it comes to hotel stays and I was not disappointed. Easy to find, easy access to parking and plentiful, pleasant front desk personnel, warm welcoming lobby with amenities like lemon water and a machine that makes coffee drinks and hot chocolate, super clean room, large and spacious, cozy bedding and soft linens, great personal care items like shampoo and conditioner and lotion that smelled great. Super easy access on foot to so many great shops and restaurants.

Large, clean and well-equipped rooms with comfy beds, great staff and OK included breakfast. Perfectly ok for our 2 night stay - a few places to eat and drink within easy walking distance along with a few stores for essentials. Near the harbour where a lot of excursions depart from.

Stayed for 6 nights while exploring the area. Ideally situated for whale and bear watching, Elk falls 10 minute drive away. Clean, spacious room. Breakfast OK. Even saw a pod of orcas from our balcony. Unfortunately Campbell River has a lot of homeless people. On the whole t wasn't a problem but we were asked for money on one occasion. A lot seem to spend their time drinking alcohol in public areas and we felt uneasy when walking passed them.

The hotel was clean. The breakfast was pretty basic. Some of the hard boiled eggs were rotten. The room was spacious. The real bummer is being right downtown and having walk past the homeless camps to go get dinner or a couple beers without driving. Most of the homeless seemed nice, but a few were pretty sketchy. It was a little uncomfortable walking late at night.

The rooms here are large, good showers, free coffee machine in the lobby. The location is not exactly downtown but is 5 mins drive from the Seaplane terminal. The nearest good eateries was Sessions Taproom. there is a community kitchen opposite and a liquor store so there are a lot of homeless folks around but we experienced no issues, parking was not a problem. Breakfast was decent enough. Desk staff could be a little friendlier.

Rooms were clean although they were not cleaned on our second day. Beds, linen and pillows were good. Location is excellent. The breakfast was ok. It was noisy in the morning though. 06.30 was a little too early to be shouting down the corridor. But this wasn’t the hotels fault it was selfish guests.
