First impression as we pulled in to the back of the hotel was this is it? Wasn't impressed until I got to the front and then into the lobby. Very spacious lobby with a nice looking restaurant. Frank at the front desk was awesome! Helped that we grew up about 30 minutes from each other so had something to talk about. After checking in went to room. Once again spacious with two TVs , lots of room, and minimal updates. This would be my major contention that it needs updates. Old carpet, 90's fridge and microwave, and only air conditioning in the bedroom. If you do spend a lot of time outside of the hotel then it is good to sleep in. Heard some noises but nothing crazy. Had this at a 4 out of 5 until I went down on a Thursday Night to the hotel restaurant at approx. 8:15pm. Got back from a long day and super hungry. It was supposed to be open until 10pm but all the lights were off and closed. Don't understand why but in my opinion unacceptable and they lost out on over a $100 spend on dinner for my wife and I. Good hotel but please update!…
Location perfect Very clean and friendly, quiet I love it, I will definitely come back and recommend to everyone need to enjoy the time in Vancouver, specially the front desk Mohammed, he went above and beyond to make sure he answers all the questions and give us the direction of the best things to do, don't waist your time just book here and you will be very happy.
Just spent 2 nights in hotel and quite dissappointed. Parking was good, walkable to many restaurants and shopping. Check in was pleasant. Room was dirty. Honestly there was black mold around the tub. I'm not saying a speck or two but a large amount.
Best hotel in the town.lots of nice restaurant nearby.customer service was excellent especially Mr Raghav .most of the people are good.room is neat and clean.I am so happy to be here.price is ok for me.may be I will come next time also
Great hotel. Breakfast is yummy. Very close to restaurants and max. Also fun movie and Rec room near by. Would come here again. Hotel is nice and clean. Reet is a great and friendly front desk host. See you guys soon
This was our second visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. The accommodation clean and comfortable. The location for us was extremely convenient for all of our business while in the city. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel is awesome. Raghav at the front desk is 5 star!! Check in was quick and room was clean and tidy. Breakfast at Aquos was good. Parking lot was de iced from the big winter storm. Vending machine prices were cheap
This aging property covers the elements essential to my week-long stay on business: a spacious suite, ample no-fuss parking (which is at a premium in this part of Burnaby), and an excellent location very close to shops, restaurants, and a Skytrain station. The suite had a good sitting area, a sink and fridge, plus a few utensils/appliances. Yes, the room and furnishings are dated, but it all works. Only the air-con unit's old-fashioned noisiness and crude controls were irritating. As for parking, there are spaces all around the hotel, especially on the east side. On the negative side, breakfast in the restaurant is needlessly complicated and parsimonious. Included with the room is one type of simple breakfast; any changes/additions however small attract additional charges. This took the servers some time to explain. These servers were great but they are obviously exasperated with the policy. They know that guests just want a decent breakfast without a fuss. The restaurant and bar a little tired, but still comfortable and functional -- just like everything else here. Don't underestimate the value of this location. Brentwood has grown into a vibrant and accessible area of good food, bars (Joey, Cactus Club, Browns, etc.), shopping (Whole Foods, 2 malls), transit, and a bit of a view. Everything is within walking distance. Since downtown is a convenient Skytrain ride away, a visitor could even use this as a base.…
3.5 out of 5 stars The hotel website had FALSELY ADVERTISED and I quote 'Conveniences include laptop-compatible safes and desks, as well as phones with free local calls'. When we left we were charged for local phone calls, which were stated in the website as free, and the hotel desk attendance refused to reverse the charge. I followed this issue with couple emails, the hotel denied that could not find the itinerary#, conformation#, name, email, travel booking etc, even after I had supplied these information. Therefor the hotel stay left me a bitter experience.
We needed to stay in Brentwood, so this was perfectly situated. Nice hotel, very clean rooms, and parking on-site. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
