The Eagle Wind RV Park is the 109th stop for us and we stayed for 2 weeks. I would rate it 4.5 overall. Conveniently located off the Trans Canadian Highway, the park is small (60 sites) with approximately two thirds longer term residents (the sites are well-maintained). You feel very safe here and I like the security gate that closes at 9:30 pm with a code entry if needed. The inner road is paved and the sites are gravel with tall privacy hedges and there is large grass area in the middle plus a decent one at the front of the park. The sites are level and the staff rake them after departures. But with the power pole at the front of the site, it made parking the tow vehicle with our class a motorhome a little challenging. The staff and longer term residents are very friendly. If you are near the front of the park, you will have highway noise but nothing that bothered us. The facilities are clean and they have a great heated pool/hot tub. One note – be aware if you have timid dogs or are training your dog. There are many dogs off leash or tethered to the rv unsupervised and charge to the road although the policy on the website indicates dogs must be leashed. Tends to be the longer term residents – gets very tiring having to run the gauntlet every day. Connectivity (late morning): park WiFi 96.8 down/19.2 up; Verizon 486.0 down/38.9 up; T-Mobile 31.0 down/25.8 up.

Arrived at a beautiful gate. Plenty of room to wait to check in. Checkin a breeze and staff kind efficient and helpful. If you need water… there is a pool. Sites are wide and deep with great angle for easy maneuvering to back into the site… each with tall shrubs dividing each clean graveled site; making for a private beautiful oasis.

As mentioned in a previous review, Eagle Wind has set the bar high. Very easy access to your site. Lots of room for your RV and a small car. Each site is separated by Cedar trees, very private. Free wifi, laundry, pool(closed due to Covid).
Upon arrival I was greeted with a very friend lady and who drop by my site to ensure everything was ok.
The RV Park is gated at night to add a little more security.
I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The park is the smallest I’ve ever seen including the lot space way to small can barely fit a trailer with a slide out and one vehicle so buyer beware. The cost for winter stay was too high. $56/ day or $315/ week I could rent a small apt for that through the winter and store my rig so what’s the point?

We had a family issue to deal with in Vancouver. We booked at another site, but we didn't want to stay. We called and were lucky to have an opening. I'm not really good at backing up so they graciously backed in my unit, lickity split. We ended up staying 4 nights. Great staff, great park, and great price.Thank you so much

I am extremely upset with this place. They overbooked the sites while we were staying there and made us leave!!!! Its also located on the highway and therefore really loud. it was extremely rude to remove us

We stayed here on our 7 week adventure across Canada. The management was very accommodating. The place was very clean, but with it being so close to the highway, it was very noisy. It would probably be okay with a trailer with solid sides, but we were in a camper trailer. My husband and I couldn't hear each other talking.

Stayed at Eagle wind for 3 months this spring, a super facility. Clean with great and helpful people. This location served us very well as we were visiting and working the Vancouver area and felt able to relax and enjoy our home away from home in Aldergrove. The scenery is spectacular, mountains all around. We are from Edmonton, and travel throughout the US and Canada and have found very few resorts that equal the quiet and clean stay. This park is nearly new and extremely well kept. The help at the park are friendly efficient and helpful. This is on our top of list to revisit and stay. We have a large motorcoach and tow car and had no difficulty with finding a great space or negotiating the property. With two wee pets we are appreciative of the greenspace provided as well.

The small park is very nice and clean and wide spots with a little privacy but it is slightly noisy from the highway . Our first encounter with her was on check-in....we had pre-booked thinking it would be busy for the Snowbird airshow ..(which by the way she was only half full). My brother's wife had to be hospitalized and is still in there for an undetermined amount of time and I wondered if I still had to pay a full night for him as I had used my card for all 4 bookings. She stated that she would not refund any money as this is a senior park and that would go on all the time if she gave me back the money. I'm confused as to why that makes a big difference but as a former motel owner I know when to make allowances in peak holiday times but she wasn't even full with a waiting list so she made money that night at our expense. Next, one of the Canadian Snowbirds comes to visit his parents after the show and is scolded for driving fast which he didn't do....and the next night told to get his car out of the one spot for rv personal only or to get out of the park! Now, he does a lot of booking etc. for them and needless to say if I was him I would not recommend this park to anyone....and that goes for most of the family there. Her gentlemen helper was very NICE and perhaps she could learn a little from him! Some of my family went to the showers at the clubhouse in the morning only to find you had to pay for them...my God, it is one of the more expensive rv spots and they charge the patrons to use the facilities! We asked if we could use the rec room to eat dinner as there were 12 people but we were told only if there wasn't anyone else in there we could use one table or so.....we decided not to. They could use some garbage containers up by the units. Even when we tried to be polite to her she would only snarl back at you...still not sure if she likes her job or not but a smile goes along way......and bending rules slightly brings people back time and time again.....when they have fun! I know we didn't with her attitude!

Response from eaglewindrv, Manager at Eagle Wind RV Park
Responded Aug 18, 2010
-We understand the frustration of not being able to offer a refund at the check in time and calling a head and making us aware before arrive give staff a time to help you with a change in plans and we can check into making refunds available with a valid medical reason. It is a challenge for staff to make the decision when no warning of a change in plan has been give. Our policies are clearly marked on our welcome sheets when deposits are made. -As will many parks we are in an area that has wild life and animals that are attracted by garbage. We did at one point have receptacles around the park which brought the local farm dogs as they were no being used with respect by campers so we have very large bins and a full recycling center which has eliminated the problems of waking up to garbage all over the park. -As for speed, we have many small children in the park, on bikes and though when we are slow it seems silly to have to drive 10 km we have to set some rules to keep everyone safe. -as for parking in empty spots even though they might be empty now, if a car has been parked and the owner has left and we need the space, it makes it hard to manage the site inventory. Unlike many parks we do have enough space to park your own vehicle on your site but do ask that every guest vehicle is parked in guest parking or we quite quickly have a zoo on our hands. This is outlined to all parties when they check in and it is also clearly marked on the guest rule sheets that are given to every camper and available on line. -as for being full or empty, it changes quickly, sometime 5 guests will arrive after 6 pm to get off the road and they would like to park quickly and get settled after a long day on the road, when we know the sites are clean and empty we can get people settled quickly and by providing the same outline to all our guest we keep the park running smoothly. -Showers, most parks in the local area have to charge a little for water, not all guest respect that water is metered and costs us money. By adding a metering box to the showers, for which we have made an extra minute longer than most parks we all win. It is just a necessity. -As for our "gentleman helper" he is wonderful, he makes things better and he has a vast amount of knowledge of people and the industry, don't know what we would do without him!

When we got initially everything was great. But as time went on we found that the WiFi was terrible!!, the manager was rude, doesn't care about anything except her self. The amount of full timers and permanent residents makes it an unpleasant stay as it appeared they ran the park. We had mentioned to the office about people not picking up after their dogs. Dogs running loose on property. Some of the full timers are extremely rude and very confrontational. You are expected to wrap and prevent their plumbing from freezing at your expense. Their so called maintenance man is rude and very grumpy. The rates are well above the rest of the parks. The only green space kids have to play on is the septic field. Very dissatisfied in the park and especially the manager. For this type of money you would think that they would care but they don't. The residents call her Mrs. Doolittle. I guess now I realize why. A Walmart parking lot would be as good as this place. Get rid of the manager and get one that knows how to manage and this could be a great place. Would never return!!!
