We enjoyed our overnight stay in a very comfortable room with a snappy look and lots of space, which gave us the opportunity to unpack and repack all our luggage after doing a week's worth of laundry. Ahh, the joy of clean clothes!
We really appreciated the efficient laundry room equipped with 2 sets of what seemed to be new or at least newer appliances that were both efficient and roomy. So we made short work of the chores and had time to relax.
As a bonus, we found a good restaurant just a short stroll away from our lodging, located at the edge of a shopping center. There we were able to pick up a few needed supplies and pleased to take in an impromptu outdoor performance of a singer/guitarist talented enough to attract an appreciative audience, including the two of us.
We generally enjoy staying at lodgings in or near the center of town. But we very much appreciated the convenience of being here and in this case figured the shopping center served rather like center of town for the people who lived nearby. All in all, a good exoerience.
All in all, we had a very pkeasant experience

Comfortable stay. The room was clean, service was good on check-in and check-out. The breakfast options were decent. Fruit, toast, cereals, scrambled eggs and sausage etc. Coffee and juices were also available.

My Family and i come here all the time, quick check in and easy check out. Although the pool has been closed (which my kids love) We still come here as other hotels in Strathmore were awful. Great Experience overall every time we stay

I stayed in this property six years ago, it is exactly the same and it still feels that nobody hovered those halls. Grime and dust collect in tables, frames, decorations and above all the carpets which probably have never been washed and ate starting to detach in some areas. The worst part was the dining area. It doesn't have space to fit all the hotel guests, so you often have to queue, or you better get up early. Nice thing to do on your holiday, keep your alarms set at 7am, right? If you dare to sit in the couch please never move it. The amount of stuff that has been collected underneath, papers, food, envelops, plastic, straws... Seems like nobody cleans this place.

The pool slide is brutal. Not enough water pressure. Hot tub is nice and hot. The rock floor is the pool is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I love the pre check in option they send you. Breakfast is terrible, cold and not much options.

The manager is dishonest. I've been staying at Wyndham Hotels for over 12 years and I've never had a worse experience then staying at this location. I had 4 rooms booked through Expeida, but I always pay at the hotel as sometimes my work ends early and I check out early. I went to book out early and the hotel clerk informed me that I needed 24 hours notice to check out early and refused to refund my 2 extra nights. I then talked to the manager and he refused to give me a refund until I threatened to call Wyndham. I've never had to give notice when checking out early at Wyndham. The manager failed to email me a receipt so I stopped at the hotel afterwards and talked to another hotel clerk and she had never heard of this 24 hour notice for early check outs. There is nothing on their website indicating that I had to give notice. Also the hotel had no maid service even though other hotels have been offering it for some time. Pools and Gym were closed even though at the time it was October and Covid was under control.

No service at check in, just a sign saying they are away and call them, after waiting in a dirty lobby with a bunch of other guests. Noisy hotel, lots of kids running around and screaming, big birthday party here apparently. Bathroom door broke, carpet dirty, old, musty smells, chemical cleaners, dark and dated rooms from the 90's. Bed hard and lumpy. Breakfast is abismal, limited options and old oatmeal! The staff don't care at all, I don't blame them as they are probably paid minimum wage, so clearly the management doesn't care and needs to be held accountable! never heard from manager, asked 3 times to be contacted, nothing. Wyndham is a cheap brand, never again!

Called at 9:30am to cancel my reservation for the following day as my husband and I woke up sick. Especially in light of health concerns at this time we thought it would be best to stay home and not spread germs - thinking this is also within a reasonable time to cancel (check in is at 3:00 so this is plenty more than 24 hours notice).
Spoke with Gail who said I will be charged the full amount of a nights stay if I cancel, we would’ve had to cancel by midnight the night before if we didn’t want to be charged. Had we known we would be sick today, we obviously would have cancelled yesterday...
I asked her several times to have the manager call me. She laughed and assured me that he wouldn’t call me as he’s too busy. I booked through booking.com so she told me I have to go through them - it’s up to them. I requested a cancellation with fees waived through booking.com who advised that it’s at the discretion of the property. The manager of the property actually makes the decision I’ve learned, but they try to push the responsibility onto booking.com.
I’ve called several times and could never speak to the manager. I received an email from booking.com that they requested my cancellation with waiver and it was denied by the property. Again I called back and I’ve emailed, asking to speak to a manager. I said I find it unbelievable that a manager would refuse to speak to an upset customer. She said I am not their customer - I am a customer of booking.com.
Still have yet to hear from the manager, no matter how many times I call or email them. The last time I spoke with Gail she told me the manager will not call me.

Arrived to find the pool was closed, a fact that was buried deeply in the fine print on the booking page. We complained and were told there was nothing they could do and we could look elsewhere if we wanted to. Prices were the same as if the pool was open.

I made reservation well in advance and never got king suite as reserved. They put us in smaller room with single king bed. Asked for discount and all they offered was a free cot so very disappointed. Eggs were runny in the morning and sausages very bland. This location does not have waffle maker which I'm used to.
