Came to Stettler on business. Could not turn on the TV. Kept getting 'press OK to watch TV" No luck. Kept pressing OK and nothing happened. Turned TV off. Lady at reception was very helpful but we could not get the TV to work. Decided to have a cup of coffee with the Keurig machine. The water would not heat up and although i have a similar coffee machine at home, this one would not work. The water does not heat up and the coffee machine keeps asking to place cup. Noting happens. Machine times out and turns off. No hot breakfast although the price does not change.

We are very sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience at our property, as this truly was not our intention. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns. I would like to take this opportunity to state that we are working diligently on proper TV troubleshooting to prevent this situation from happening again. I do believe the issue with the coffee maker is it will not recognize a clear cup as being present, I will address this with our suppliers as we never want cup type to hinder our guests from a great cup of coffee. And finally we do apologize for not being able to serve a hot breakfast due to COVID restrictions, we have switched to a bagged breakfast with a breakfast sandwich, but we do understand that this is not always appealing to all our guests. I hope that you will provide us the opportunity to correct this issue. We strive to create that home away from home feel, and it's apparent we fell short this time. Please reach out to me directly at (403)742-3371 so that we can resolve the issue. Have a great day.

We really like this hotel! The hotel is a very clean, with friendly staff, and prompt service. We stayed in a king suite that had a very comfortable king size bed, couch, desk and chair, microwave, mini fridge, sink, and a decent size bathroom with a deep soaker tub. This hotel is pet friendly as we had our dog travelling with us. They have a choice of breakfast items. We used the nice big swimming pool, water slide, and hot tub area. The fitness equipment is great. We also used the guest laundry. I would recommend anyone to stay at Canalta Stettler if you are wanting a reasonably priced hotel with great amenities. There is also a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel so you do not have to leave the hotel area to eat and go out.

Room Tip: For quieter rooms, ask for a room on the top floor away from the pool area.

The bed was broken in the room or missing a wheel so everytime someone moved the whole bed did aswell. The room was very dirty and with direct access our side there was a large amount of people thoughout the night right out side your window. The location is great if you’re there for the hospital but this is a lot more like a hotel 6 then a canalta. Would nit recommend to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. I have looked into the room you stayed in and made our maintenance team aware of your concerns. We are a crew hotel with a privately owned lounge located in it, so our parking lot does tend to get a little busy at times. We are very sorry about this inconvenience to you, for your next stay I would recommend the hotel section rather then the motel section as it is quieter. I would like to ask for you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.

We went on the last summer steam train, Sept 28/29. Our room was ready a little early so we checked in and took our luggage up. The room was large and comfortable and clean. We did notice that there was no where to charge our phones. Great to have a Kerug we brought our own coffee. After our train ride and the cold we decided to use the bubble tub to warm us up. Much to our dispare the tub was not working, we called the main desk to find that tub was indeed broken and they were waiting on parts. They had a continantial breakfast if you call it that, not impressed! the pancake, egg, and sausage was for the work crews. I would have prefered a bagel. Or perhaps the restaurant should be opened up during the summer. You could offer a coupon for Smittys or something. We do not get away very often but the tub would have been great! Front end staff very polite and smiling.

Thank you for taking the time to review our location. We are glad that you enjoyed your free upgraded room for the most part. We are sorry about the jets not working, we had hoped the parts would have arrived prior to your arrival as we wanted to make your anniversary stay special for you. Thank you for your feedback on our new Breakfast-To-Go program, so far we have had great results with it, but we do understand that it is not for everyone. We will absolutely take your suggestion into consideration about the coupons. We hope to see you again the next time you are in our area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We checked in after our train experience & decided to take in the hot tub to relax. Pool area is great. The room was larger than most. Coffee & microwave & fridge & big comfy chair but no place to charge our phones on the nightstand or clock or lamp. Good thing I remembered my adaptor for my devices so we made it work. Third floor room was very quiet, bed was comfortable & breakfast bag to-go was nice. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you for a relaxing visit to Stettler.

Thank you for the great review of our hotel! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us, and had an opportunity to enjoy some of the great amenities that we have to offer. I have made note of your concern about the plug in's at the bed side, as I too feel it's important to be able to charge my phone close by. We do hope to see you again the next time you are in the Stettler area.
