Well appointed, friendly staff and comfortable. Room had compact kitchen that had anything one would need. Breakfast was expansive with items clearly marked gluten free for those of us with celiac. We enjoyed the restaurant attached. Highly recommend this hotel.

I booked a room directly on the hotel's website and found it was $15 cheaper than on Exoedia or the AMA site. This hotel truly provided fantastic value for the price. The room was huge with 2 king beds. Everything was super clean from the room itself, which was spotless. to the common areas, hallways and grounds. The staff provided a cover sheet for my dog to sleep on as well as dog treats. The complimentary breakfast was a step above what is usually available at comparable properties. The only downside was that we were given a room on the third floor near the end of the hall - a long walk to take the dog outside. I will definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed here to attend a Crown Jewels Canada Society Provincial Convention. The rooms far exceeded my expectations, a person could easily stay here long term during a Reno etc! Joseph, the event manager went far above and beyond to make sure our event was successful, his entire staff went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The catering was exceptional, food was excellent, perfect portion sizes, allergy requests were all taken seriously, food was delivered to the tables rapidly and arrived hot or cold as expected. Everyone employed here was so pleasant and ready to help in any way possible! My only concern was the restaurant “ Just Jack’s” is not open until 4:00 pm which meant attendees had to leave the property for a noon meal as our event did not include a noon meal,

I read a lot of reviews of this hotel and decided to spend New Year Eve there with my family. I called ahead of time to inquire about restaurant's hours and was told that it would be open on December 31 until 10pm.
When we arrived we learned that restaurant is closed for "holidays".
We booked a king suite with "kitchenette ". No plates, glasses, knifes in the room. Just microwave, a small fridge and a coffeemaker. I was glad I packed a knife with us to cut a cake to celebrated New Year. Didn't bring glasses with us so we drank champagne out of paper coffee cups.
Bathroom sink got plugged as soon as we started using it.
Floor in the swimming pool area was kinda clean. Town pool staff does a much better job with keeping their pool grounds clean..
Hot breakfast that was one of the hotel best features was not available on January 1st as well. Another detail that was not posted on the hotel website.
There were lots of families staying at the hotel so hot breakfast would have been nice.
Posting picture of a breakfast "sandwich". Not sure why ketchup wasn't available with it. Breakfast attendant was not seen so I couldn't ask for ketchup.
I don't think we would stay there for New Year Eve again.

Crown Jewels Canada Society held the Alberta Convention here. After being cancelled twice due to Covid and yet the hotel still honoured the original room rates as did the catering department! The rooms were great, very clean and comfortable. All of our requests were met happily by the staff, they made all of the ladies feel so welcome.

Great hotel, timeless design with lots of room to move around. My wife is a wheelchair user and we were both beyond pleased with the TRUE ACCESSIBILITY of their wheelchair compliant rooms. With plenty of free parking & a in hotel restaurant, I would recommend The Pomeroy to anyone! Oh, and they have a waterslide and pool!

Stayed overnight on a Saturday night. The property was clean and modern, the rooms spacious and our double queen had a fridge, stove-top and supplies, coffee maker etc. efficient and quiet A/C and comfortable beds. Ticked all the boxes you want in a good hotel. Breakfast was better than average, served in clean and spacious dining area. One very minor heads up for hotel management. The room was on the dark side and could use an extra floor lamp.
Would not hesitate to recommend and would stay here again.

It’s right from when you walk in. It’s clean and staff are super friendly. They offer an amazing free breakfast as well. It’s better than most hotels I have stayed at. They do have on site restaurant as well but I didn’t partake this trip. The room I was in was big and clean. It did share a door to room beside me and guys beside me were super loud and had to complain but the staff went and talked to them and all was good. If you are in olds this is the place to stay at.

We stayed at the Pomeroy in Olds as a mini staycation because of the special weekend rate. We live nearby. The pool and hot tub and fitness centre were great on a cold winter's day. The incliuded breakfast buffet was also excelllent, especially the waffles topped with strawberries and whipping cream.
The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, with several couches which are perfect for reading by the sunny windows.
The rooms are larger than the typical hotels we have stayed at in the past. Beds are very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pomeroy Inn and Suites very much. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating to our needs. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a pool that was open and hot tub that was not due to Covid. The complimentary breakfast was a bagged one, again due to Covid and included a muffin or small danish, yogurt, fruit, and juice. There was a good restaurant, Just Jacks, and a bar in the hotel. The hotel is situated on the lovely
grounds of Olds College - make sure you take time to walk around and enjoy them.
