Had a great stay and breakfast (included) was delicious. Real food, not commercial food, cooked nicely and with pride. Additionally, the hotel is directly across from Costco and its gas bar. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

We were there for a family reunion at Easter. Front desk staff were very gracious in accommodating us in rooms that were together. We we’re a group of 19 people and hadn’t seen each other for sometime and it allowed for much better visiting. Rooms were clean comfortable and spacious. Staff was exceptionally pleasant. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise with a hot meal that changed daily. You do not need to go out to a restaurant for a good breakfast. We were very grateful that the weekend breakfast hours were extended to include Easter Monday. The Easter egg hunt for the children was also a very sweet surprise. The kids also enjoyed the pool and water slides. The water in the pool did not appear to be over chlorinated as in some hotels. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

We recently had my husband’s celebration of life service and reception in the beautiful ballroom. I can’t thank the entire staff, from sales to catering, enough, for everything. The sales team went above and beyond to help meet our plans and expectations for this special occasion. Their experience and advice helped make everything flow, it was such a beautiful set up. Perfectly suited to having a service, then a light meal. The food was freshly made and absolutely delicious! The catering staff was so friendly and helpful in every way. Family and friends all enjoyed the space and experience. I highly recommend booking this venue, especially for such a high stress occasion. It all turned out so well, and I had the confidence that I could focus on the actual occasion, not all the worries and details. Out of town guests stayed at the hotel, there was a discount given for a two nights stay- in our blocked rooms, because we had booked our event there. They very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the complimentary hot breakfast each morning.

Good location for visiting the area with plenty of parking. Check in was smooth and the young lady at the desk was very friendly and cheerful. Room had everything we needed too Only negative was the breakfast which due to large groups staying made it difficult to keep everything stocked up so we only managed to get a coffee which was disappointing and we took that back to our room as too busy. But enjoyed our stay nevertheless.

Not one to leave a negative review but here we go. If you're travelling alone this hotel is great, however do not go if you are a large group. We were there for a hockey tournament and they could not have been less accommodating. Our team likely spent around $10K there this weekend and they were very resistant to any kind of group or team gathering, despite having adequate space. We put up with dogs barking constantly, but the girls were told to be quiet many times (during daylight hours). Hockey teams - take the extra time to drive to a different hotel.

Hi Andrea, We appreciate that you travelled with your U15 female hockey team from Warman to attend the popular Okotoks Female Hockey Tournament. For whatever reason, this particular weekend was over the top for the number of complaints we had from non-hockey teams guests. We have to maintain a balance between giving the teams the freedom they want and feel they deserve while minimizing disruptions to guests who are staying for business, attending a funeral, or just visiting friends/family in the area. As mentioned in my response to your other review, all of our event venues were booked for private functions. On certain weekends, we just don't have complimentary meeting rooms available for teams to party in. It is impossible for us to set up for a 7 am start to an event the following morning that has pre-booked all 3 of our meeting rooms if the hockey teams want to 'socialize' in the meeting rooms until the wee hours of the morning. This just isn't practical and it is impossible for us to re-set the room and be ready for an event with 138 people in attendance. We are sorry to hear that you think that our hotel isn't team friendly. We host 100's of teams from a variety of sports every year, but there has to be a mutual respect given to other guests staying in the hotel. This past weekend, this didn't happen. I hope your daughter's team was successful in the hockey tournament and that you had a great trip home to Warman.

This hotel is horrible. The front desk clerk was very unfriendly and impersonal. She let us feel very uncomfortable. The bathroom had no fan and showering with 3 people without a fan is really fun… Downstairs by the pool the floor was always wet and had puddles to the elevator. Twice I almost slipped and fell, I am pregnant so that was dangerous. The breakfast room is way to small and overfilled. By 9am they had no food and were very slow in filling up again. The waffle maker should be not used by younger kids… it’s very unhygienic and disgusting. A little girl was making herself a waffle and the batter went everywhere, she licked her fingers and touched continuously the waffle maker… the waffle maker is also standing in the middle of the breakfast buffet and created line ups for people that just wanted breakfast without making a waffle. The price for staying in this hotel is way to high for the service you receive Very disappointed

Very enjoyable and great staff. Pool was good fun and clean. Great place to take kids, also can take pool towels to your room so it makes going back and forth to pool better for kids. Breakfast had a great selection of food and specialty’s every day it’s something different.

Upon arriving in our room discovered there was old food in our fridge. I Told front desk staff and indicated I was skeptic at how clean our room actually was. We then left hotel for five hours. Upon arrival back, front desk staff assured me that someone had been in our room, recleaned it and cleaned out the fridge. Got back to our room, opened fridge door and rotting food was STILL in the fridge. So did someone actually come clean it?!?!? And how long had it been in there to get to that point to begin with!!! Front desk lady then came up and cleaned it out herself. Mother in laws sink next room over would not drain. She alerted the front staff, but no one fixed it.
On a plus side...that evening we did get a little extra swim time.

The Event staff at the Best Western Okotoks were amazing. Roanne and team did such an amazing job at accommodating our needs for our groups and made sure we had accommodations during a very busy time. There was a larger conference then ours going on at the same time, but not once did we feel left out or forgotten about. From the time we booked to the time we left I felt supported and appreciated for our business. The stay for the week was great as well. Very comfortable and clean. The gym was up to date and had some great machines. Thank you so much Roanne and team at the Best Western Okotoks. If you are planning an event there, reach out you will not be disappointed.

We do not have a restaurant on property, however we do offer a free hot & cold breakfast each morning and all rooms have microwaves, coffee makers and bar fridges. In addition, we have queen, king and 2 bedroom suites which have full kitchens.
