Detailed Reviews
Only $69, about $39 a night room for how dirty it was, but had wifi and it is super close to the airport. Could smell pot being smoked in the other rooms and some weird noise, but slept good. Only room in the area in the same price is the western budgets only one room a day $59, which if you book early you can snag, everything else is over 90, but you'll have to be able to tolerate dirty to stay here, also no in room coffee or microwave but coffee is downstairs where there is laundry and pop and snack machines, decent cable, older everything else, they just appear to let it get rundown and dirty, in a quick cheap pinch it'll do. The Nisku inn next door has restaurants and lounges and just next door is a pita pita and smoothie place / gas bar.

Was an ok stay. Cleanliness can be a bit better. But the management is very kind and inviting. Parking lot is safe for vehicles and close to nearby restaurants. Convient pop machine and on sight. Very friendly

This is a good family owned motel close to Edmonton International airport.I live in BC but work in Alberta on a 2 in,2 out rotation and have stayed at this motel for over 10 years. The rooms are small but adequate and kept clean.
With a stay one nite and get free parking for one week it is the best deal for commuters like me in the area.

I'm going to keep this brief... The basics of this place are:
They're trying to get your money! Our group was trying to arrange it so everyone could stay at the same place. So one person did some calling around to find the best rates, etc. We all decided on the same location. So when we called to make our reservations, each person got a slightly different price quoted to them (considering each room requested was the same as the others). Things that were free for some, were a $9 for others. Then to top it all off, when I called, I got reemed out for daring to call before 9am on a weekday! Last I checked, Motels never had operating hours. It sort of made me leery of staying there ever again... What if I had to catch a 6am flight out the next day, would I not be able to check out properly because they weren't "open" yet? I recommend you don't stay there. I know I never will again.

We will never stay at the Nisku Place Motel again! We definitely do not recommend anyone waste their money or time staying at this motel. We had booked our room, that we would be staying in the night prior to our departure and upon our arrival of the Edmonton International Airport, over a month in advance. At the time of booking we felt the cost of the two night's stay and the included parking while we were gone was affordable. When booking we indicated that our return flight was a late flight and we would be getting in late, we were assured that was not a problem. When we checked in we were told the office closes at a certain time and we had to be their before that time. We received the worst customer service we have ever received...anywhere! We were over charged and were told that since our credit card was already charged, they could not correct it. After arguing for an hour, we gave up. The workers were both very rude. Both of our rooms were dirty, especially the floors and lacked towels. This hotel appears to be a money-grab that we won't fall for again.

I was tired after a long, long drive from Fort Nelson, British Columbia so I stopped here looking for a inexpensive room out of exhaustion more than anything else. Boy did I regret that decision. The room smelled funky, the bed and sheets were dirty, the room was dated and unclean. The lobby to the place smelled exceptionally bad and the parking lot was filled with the cars of people whom had paid to park there when they used the local airport. There was no coffee pot in the room as they expected you to pay for coffee and ice in the little common room with the broken vending machine that had almost nothing in it. Avoid this place like the plague. I seriously advise you to keep driving to something more suitable.

I would saw it was pretty good me and 2 friends came in late from a long drive, were exhausted and had a flight in the morning. When we came in I told the guy in the office we were in a hurry to sleep he was pretty quick they even had smoking rooms for my 2 friends and the guy told me we even get 1 week free parking which was a bonus considering the crazy expensive parking at the airport. The only problem we had was on one of the beds the pillows were pretty flat, we told the guy in the office and so he gave us another set, other than that it was pretty good. If I was flying out and wanted to stay for a good price I would go back, plus there pretty close to the airport so even though we woke up late we made it there in 3-4 minutes.

I needed an inexpensive place to stay, heading to the airport very early the next morning. Sign said they had a restaurant. The woman at the desk was friendly at first. Rates were good. Thought I had made the right choice. Room was very small - but seemed clean enough. There was no restaurant - had to walk across the street to another hotel - not so bad. Came back then things went south. I had to make a couple of phone calls - local. When those people returned my calls they were treated extremely rudely by the same woman whom at seemed so friendly. Then all night long - people kept standing outside my room and talking. I could hear every word as if they were yelling into my ear. My window was closed.
So if you want a cheap place to stay, and don't mind being treated shabbily by the front desk, or being kept up all night with noise. This is the place for you.

Stayed many times for courses in Nisku or flights out of Edmonton. It's the cheapest option in the area. No issues with noise or low life riff raff hanging around or problems with parked vehicles. The location is about as good as it gets being straight East of the airport 4 kms and relatively isolated. There's an airport taxi service (cards in office) to book transport to YEG anytime of day for $10. Saves about $10 for a regular taxi at least coming from the airport. No restaurant but there's fast food and pizza delivery flyers, plus bigger Hotel's if you need a sit down meal 2-3 minutes walk. Free parking 1 week per stay (probably 2 weeks if staying 1 night on your return flight). The business appears family run (honest as once held a forgotten laptop for me for a week), so don't expect a guy with a tie at the front desk. Usually a small fridge and large TV, not many channels, free wi-fi generally works ok, and a micro-wave in the ground floor coin laundry room beside a pop machine. The nearest convenience store with some fast food is about a 3 minutes walk to a Mohawk gas station. Good solo stay to save money if parking and flying but maybe not the best place for snow flake couples used to 4 star accommodations. Overall very good budget hotel considering the location and what you're paying, probably 2-3 star depending on rooms given and how dated.

I came to Nisku for a new job and had barely any money in my pocket & this establishment was the cheapest In town . I thought oh damn it’s gonna be a greasy but it was actually a solid place to shack up for a few nights . Cheap rate , the owners & staff were incredibly nice , they kept my room clean , the bed was comfy , the shower worked good , I have no complaints !
