We always park at airways for our flights. Cheap and easy to get to and from. Shuttle service is prompt and only goes to their parking. We’ve never stayed at the inn so:have no idea about rooms or the food

Even though the room was very old looking...it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also the shuttle service to and from Edmonton international was very prompt. The staff were very helpful and friendly

This place was terrible, it doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Everything smelt like smoke, to the point we were not able to breathe comfortably, the pillows were flat and stained yellow, the bathroom had mold and stains, the towels even smelt like smoke. Don’t think anything was washed or replaced in 50 years, It was beyond disgusting 🤢.( I really wish we took photos of this place but unfortunately we didn’t end up thinking of that, first priority was to breathe and make it work. Since we got there at 2:00am).

We didn’t even end up staying the whole time due to the smell and state of the room. We did complain to the front desk about the condition of the room. The employee working there was very understanding and OFFERED us a full refund. which was appreciated and we were on our way without any further complaints.

The next day we got spammed by this place with 7 missed calls, asking us to pay for our stay. Demanding and threatening us to pay, which was so unprofessional and disrespectful. The man speaking to us had very immature behavior and no customer service skills at all. I explained the whole situation and told him to go talk to his employee since we were offered a refund, didn’t not ask for it. But clearly the lady working there knew that the room was disgusting and felt bad for us to have experienced this.

Do not recommend at all.

The Airways County Inn is a no-frills inn across the QE2 highway from the Edmonton International Airport's northeast corner. It is among the least expensive of 17 hotels with free shuttles from the airport's arrivals area.

The Airways is near the middle entrance to the Nisku Industrial Park, a heavy industrial site for oil services. The nearest hotels are 2 km. south, near Airport Road, Leduc's city limit.

AirwaysInn.ca lists its 24 hour adjacent businesses: airport parking with frequent airport and area shuttles, the Nisku Truck Stop, and Blackjacks Roadhouse's food, gaming and occasional live music. The parking site's map also shows a nearby 24-hour McDonald's and two gas stations. However, its cafe opens at 9:30 AM, and is closed on Sundays.

The parking site mentions plug-ins, but none were near the front door. Edmonton's airport often gets much colder than the City of Edmonton.

This 1957 motel is built from cindercrete, which resists fire, vermin and mold. Its hallway's industrial flooring adds to the nursing home look, but a few steps discourage wheelchairs. The facilities are clean but old and worn. Single-use toiletry packets were supplied, but not hangers. The beds were comfortable. I didn't hear any noise from the nearby railway and QE2 highway, but I did hear hallway noise. There's also a guest laundry room.

My brief usage of the throttled Wi-Fi worked well. However, an all-week guest said that it was really slow. A bare-bones Windows XP desktop was in the lobby.

I discovered that Nisku's rural government hasn't banned in-room smoking. My room had an ash tray, matches and several carpet burns.

It is probably unfair to give the Airways a rating. Its market niche includes a lot of guys who work late and operate heavy equipment. No politlcal correctness here.

A door beside the front desk leads to its strip club (no cover charge). Its full food menu, web site and Facebook page say "We Support Big Oil!" "Redneck and Proud of it!" and "Unofficial Home Saskatchewan Roughriders". Its "Rig Pig Wall" is covered with autographed signs from nearby oil services companies. Rig Pig is slang for drilling rig workers, and was its former name. It now uses "Peelerz", its screen name from the FUBAR II mockumentary movie, whose photos and trailer are on the Internet.

Peelerz and FUBAR II souvenirs are displayed and sold in the lobby, along with off-sale liquor and mailbox rentals.

The cheapest place to stay in Nisku and cheapest place to park. We would have given it average if not for the issues with the parking service. The room, not bad for a place to lay your head, very dated especially the bathroom but overall thing was clean. The parking service is where we ran into big issues. When we dropped off our truck we were told by the front desk that you did not have to call for a shuttle as they ran all the time, as we found out this is not the case and after waiting 30 mins we called and they dispatched a van. On our first drop to the airport off we were in the bus with patrons from the strip joint and they were dropped off at their hotels in Nisku first and not us going to the airport, it was a interesting journey to say the least. Since we dropped off our truck in between different legs of our journey we had to be picked up twice (we stayed one night in between trips). On the second pick up we now knew we had to call which we did as soon as we got our luggage, after a lengthy wait we called back and discovered they had not passed on the message to the driver and had to wait until he came from the Inn which is about 10 mins away. Believe it or not, we will use this place again but will temper our expectations as it is the cheapest parking for the airport.

I've stayed here a few times. Always clean anf kept up. All request from the front desk were always met right away. Big park and ride connected to the hotel, can either just park your car and head to the air port. Great prices to. Or come the night before park you car have a sleep, request what time you need the park&ride bus to be there it's 24/7 and they will take your to the front doors of the airport. A bar beside it for the thirsty folk. I loved my stays always

A really good hotel to stay at when you have to stay overnight between flights. This hotel does not pretend to be a 4 or 5 star hotel like some others. It has good rooms, friendly staff restaurants close by. staff is friendly. The bed is one of the best that I have ever slept in. The next time i have to overnight between flights I will be staying there it is well worth th cost of the rooms.
