Stayed here for a night while in town for work. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was in the East House. I found my room to be spacious and comfortable. The only suggestion I would make to hotel management would be to put new showerheads in. My room had the standard old unadjustable shower head that almost peels your skin off. I find these to be common in a lot of older hotels. Not the end of the world though. Breakfast was the standard hot/cold continental buffet. Does the trick before heading out the door for the day. I would have no problems staying here again.

There are rooms where you can park just outside your room and then just bring your supplies in from the car. But there are two doors in the room - one that leads outside to your car and one that leads to the inside, to the lobby, to the breakfast (which is on the second level). Many rooms are on the ground level. They only have double beds, no queen sized beds. In the room, there was a fridge, hair dryer, microwave, and coffee machine. The lobby has snacks set out 24 hours a day - homemade cookies, muffins and donuts as well as coffee and tea. The hot breakfast served eggs, sausage, bason, fruit, homemade baked goods. This inn has a weight room that is a good size with water available from a cooler in the room. Rita at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! Comfy beds!

I stayed at the Guest House Inn for just over three week for work and I had excellent service from the get go starting with the phone call to the hotel. I spoke to April on the phone, she was such a delight and very helpful. Checking in was easy and Sabrina seemed very nice as well. The rooms were kept very clean and if there was ever a problem, April was always there to help. They also served a decent breakfast complements of the hotel and always fresh fruit, cookies, coffee, and tea served day and night in the lobby. The two gentlemen, which I don’t remember their names that work the late shift overnight were always very polite. I would highly recommend staying here as you won’t regret it! I know I will definitely stay here again.

First time staying here . Emailed them coming from Bc. They were nice enough to hold room for us . We didn't know what time we'd arrive. Very nice to see nowadays . Booked it after seeing reviews and price. Excellent value with free hot breakfast and 10% off in restaurants. For $136 it was a great deal considering chain hotels were $170 . Excellent place. A must stay. Staff is great and friendly and special thanks for holding g room after 10 hr drive .

Friendly staff! The front staff smile and great you when you walk in. Soft pillows, clean rooms, comfortable beds. There is coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the lobby. Pet friendly, the rooms have both doors inside/outside, so those with furkids can access their rooms directly from their vehicles without having to walk them thru the lobby.

We spend the night here on our way to the West Coast. We got a room the was clean and quiet and I likes that we could park right outside our room so did not have far to go with out stuff. The staff helped us out with direstions to local stores and even took into account the the Fair/Rodoe was in town and certain streets were closed. The stay came with a breakfast coupon for Ernie O's accross the parking lot. The food was good, hot and fast! Our check out went smoothly. The staff seemed to be happy that we stayed there and welcomed us back again. If you like friendly and helpful then this is the place to stay while in Edson. I know that I will be back if I am ever in Edson again!

Unfortunatley you have to phone in for reservations but the ladies are quite quick to answer the phone. I stayed in an executive room which has a jetted tub and i believe it is a bit larger than a standard room. The wireless internet was fair and the room was clean. They do not have an elevator so expect to pack your stuff yourself up the stairs. They offer a free breakfast special coupon for Ernie O's which is located in the parking lot. I would likely return to this inn.

Stopped in here on the way out to British Columbia. The service at the front desk was excellent and there is a restaurant on the same lot called The Olive Tree that is very good (see my review). There's a great breakfast in the morning. The room is very spacious, but in comparison the bathroom in my room was rather small, which was about the only negative I could say about this place. The rates are excellent and this was an excellent place to stay. Definitely would come here again.

This hotel was clean and comfortable, and quiet. There are two buildings, and we were in the main building (renovated). The rooms have doors to the internal corridor, as well as directly outside and you can park right outside your door, so there are few people walking around in the corridors, making it very quiet. Also, there seemed to be lots of people staying there while working shifts, so the place was quiet (people sleeping and not partying). They have friendly front desk staff, coffee and cookies in the lobby, a nicely equipped exercise room and sauna, and breakfast that runs from 5am-10am (including a few hot food options). Right next door is a Superstore, Ricky's restaurant, and there are many other restaurants nearby.
