Totally adequate downtown motel. Bit of a retro vibe. Clean, quiet, reasonable rooms, comfortable bed, decent Wi-Fi. The Vintage Tap House and liquor store are right across the street. Basic but adequate breakfast included. Wednesday must be garbage pick up night, other that that it was mostly quiet.

We did a walk-in, friendly reception even when I wanted to see the room. Nice, 2 story motel with clean rooms, free parking and good wifi. We had a double queen room, very clean on the ground floor. This is an old motel but well maintained at the edge of downtown next door to Shoppers Drug Mart and a Chinese restaurant. Our ground floor room had a work desk and chair, fridge, microwave, Keurig, 2 sinks, soap, shampoo, towels and hair dryer. Also, the TV had many channels, nice place and we were able to park just outside the room. The hotel was full of tourists like us. The AC, a window unit worked well but was loud.
Breakfast from 7-9 was in the office lobby, bread, bagels, toasters, cereal, apples, boiled eggs, cheese slices, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, peanut butter and cheez whiz, all good. We liked the place and would stay there again.

We booked this hotel while we were on the road driving from Vancouver to Drumheller. We thought it would be a great place to stop. While were were in the mountains driving threw construction, the man phones does not speak English very well tells me we need to give him our credit card number know. I said no. Not a chance he starts over talking me almost yelling ‘if you no give me your credit card know you will not have a room here!!!” I told him it was booked payed for threw hotels.com and guarantied. He kept talking over us. I told him to listen. We were on the highway driving. In road construction, I could not dig in my purse. He was going to get us killed in traffic by demanding this, I also told him I would not give my credit card over the phone to someone who was yelling at me on the call. He then said to me as I am a woman. “Where is your husband?” As he did not want to talk to a WOMAN. He then said no credit card I will give away your room. Its not yours any more. We pre payed it. It was guarantied. I really hope people read this and they loose business do to this. Hotels. Com are going after the hotel for our money back. I never seen this hotel but I really hope if any women see this you will not book it. He will want to talk to your husband as women are not to be talked to. We are nothing in this mans eyes. Very disappointing!!!! Everything happens for a reason.
Never give your credit card over the phone as you never know who is calling you.

I booked three rooms on the "No prepayment/Pay at hotel" basis, then cancelled the booking a few hours later. Econo Lodge then charged $263.34 to my visa 6 times totalling $1580, douyble the full cost of the booking which was $811

I called the hotel and they would not help me, blaming Priceline.
Do not use this hotel!! I am now going to have to fight with Priceline and Visa to get the money back.

This is the second time we visited this motel. A year earlier we enjoyed it, so we booked it again for this year's road trip. Once again we lucked out and got a bottom level floor room. The upstairs people were not too bad, but we did leave the fan on in the bathroom to help drown out any noises. The room was not huge, but big enough for the 4 of us. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. It also had plenty of parking too. The continental breakfast was good. It consisted of bread and bagels to toast (with cheese whiz, butter, strawberry jam and peanut butter packs), 3 types of cereal, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Sadly there was no cream cheese for the bagels. It is important to note to check the continental breakfast times since online it said 8-10, but it was only 8-9 when we went.

Older two-storey motel in the older downtown area. Okay for the price. Rooms have been updated, but there's only so much that can be done with old buildings and small bathrooms. Breakfast is okay. Walking distance to a local bar/restaurant.

They had good COVID precautions in place: mask had to be on in the lobby. The room was clean and nice. It had to sinks (one outside the bathroom) and good wifi. The shower in the morning was only luke warm though. The continental breakfast consisted of 3 types of cereal, toast and jam, bagels, and hard boiled eggs

Stayed one night for a concert, read the reviews beforehand and realized that this was the worst hotel in drumheller..Mildew in the tub corners, flooring repaired with tape, black curly hair in lobby breakfast tray, manager cleans cereal crumbs off counter with his hand(could’ve used a wet cleaning cloth but why bother…😶),motorcycle running outside lobby door at breakfast..But the part I hate the most is the Bed bug bites that I received all over my arms, legs and scalp.. washed all my clothing in hot water, put my carrying bag in a deep freeze inside of a plastic bag when I got home.. I will never stay in Econo Lodge anywhere, I will sleep in the street instead because there’s less bugs. Bedbugs

Booked only a few days before leaving so there weren't many choices available.

The hotel was in the perfect location, right downtown (DT is only a couple of blocks). Hotel was clean, generally well maintained, though the frames in the pictures of our room were broken. Bathroom was tiny, but had a sink outside the main washroom.
AC was good and working, mini-fridge and microwave and hair dryer. No maid service though. Check-in fellow bordering in rude, but efficient. Not friendly or willing to give any advice of things to do in town. Pretty poor english.
