For the past 17 years I have made it a point to stay at the McDougall Lane B&B whenever we go to Drumheller. Our stay usually is a long weekend stay. The hosts Maureen and Geoge always make you feel welcome and go out of their way to provide excellent service! The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean making you feel right at home!! The breakfasts as usual are always wonderful! Maureen is a very good cook and she offers a good variety of home cooked breakfast meals. She takes great pride in what she does and it shows!! The prices for the various rooms are reasonable for the service you receive! The B&B has a very nice sunken garden in the back complete with fountains which is very nice to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine after a long day of hiking. Both my husband and I travel alot and have stayed in many a B&B and we both agree that McDougal lane is one of our favourites. It's the little personable touches that makes this place special! If you plan on visiting Drumheller, I and my husband highly recommend the McDougall Lane B&B. We hope that we can make it another 17 years in a row!

We stayed in the Garden Suite for one night before going to the Royal Tyrrell Museum. The room was big, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching TV in the living room while the kids enjoyed rolling balls on the pool table. The location was excellent...right in downtown. It was only a five minutes drive to the museum. The breakfast was yummy! Everything was excellent except that it's a bit pricey but it's already cheaper than other hotels in Drumheller.

McDougall Lane was a really lovely location. The yard is gorgeous, and a park like setting. It was within walking distance to other dining, and downtown, not to mention
not far from Tyrell Dinosaur Museum.

We chose the room with 2 beds as it was a girls weekend away, and it was a comfortabl
room, so it was perfect for us, even though it was the smallest one there. The bed was
super comfortable. (the other rooms are larger, and there is a large suite, w extra sitting
room complete with another single bed, and tv.)

The Bathroom was beautifully redone, with granite and dark cabinetry. Very nice!

Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee great!
Overall a very enjoyable experience. ( especially since I am not a big B&B fan)

Had a very nice stay here. The owners are very friendly and accommodating! The room I had was beautiful and spacious. I loved the gardens around the house, and in the morning, I had a great walk along the trail near the home.
The breakfast was great, and really enjoyed chatting with the owners.
Definitely look forward to coming back there, and most certainly recommend!

This B&B has set the bar pretty darned high, i must say. Although i am usually not a fan of staying in a strangers' home - i was looking for something more quaint for my mother and i, so a B&B it was. This was perfect. We stayed in "the garden room" in the basement - quiet, cool, comfortable and private access. We relaxed on the lovely terrace outside of the room and were able to easily unwind from our day of sightseeing. The breakfast was excellent - fruit! i was so happy to see loads of fruit accompany my eggs and sausages! It is on such a quiet cul-de-sac, it was like a hidden gem - actually, it kinda was hidden (off the gravel side road). Great hosts, lovely garden, fantastic sleep and ample parking. Walking distance to downtown Drumheller. I highly recommend this place.

Stayed there last year with my husband and three year old twins. Awesome location, beautiful grounds and amazing breakfast. Tried to book again for this year but left it to the last minute and it's fully booked; disappointed. Maureen the host is very personable. You will enjoy your stay here.

Not only were our hosts friendly and even helpful with directions, Maureen even made us a fresh pot of coffee and stayed to visit with us upon our arrival. We stayed in a lovely little house they had recently purchased as an addition to their existing (and gorgeous!) B&B, and the 2 bedroom/1 and a half bath home was absolutely perfect for my 3 children and me. With a full and sunny kitchen (including all the little things we would need), a spacious living room, a fully fenced and flowered back yard complete with BBQ, and one of the largest bathtubs I have ever used in the downstairs bathroom (a concrete tub, holds the heat beautifully!), we were more than comfortable. There was even a washer and dryer, and Maureen even supplied us with clothes pegs for the line in the back yard. The home is very central, only a few minutes from the local ExtraFoods grocery store (recommended over the other stores by Maureen because things tend to be cheaper there), and less than 3 blocks from Reptile World (our first stop as tourists). We enjoyed our 5 day vacation immensely, due in no small part to our fabulous stay at this property. We were able to relax and enjoy all the things we wanted to see and do in Drumheller (13 attractions in 4 days), and come 'home' in the evening to this quiet neighborhood. A fabulous time, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The only room left was the luxurious one, which included a Hot Tub, 2 Huge rooms with 2 king size beds, and a private bathroom. It was on the second floor, and the house & decorations were very nice.

The owners were also very nice, and we had a huge breakfast in the morning, in a closed room. All that had a price: $125 CDN.

It was not very quiet, though. Actually, it was OK overnight, but since there was an empty space between our room on top and a kind of snall living roon on the main floor, the noise could easily get into our room if we did not close the door leading to our second room upstairs, even though the main door of our room was closed.

So, as people got into business on the main floor, we were waken up by all the brouhaha, but it was at normal hours, around 7.30 - 8.00 AM.

But it's a nice place to stay and there's actually no real negative point for this nice B&B
