Our hotel sits upon the highest piece of land in Drumheller and that provides excellent views of the valley. We have a large breakfast area with many common areas to gather with friends after a day of sightseeing. We pride ourselves on our friendly staff and we cant wait to see you!
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Stayed here recently over the weekend for 1 night. The staff were able to check me in early, and were overall very pleasant and welcoming. The property is older but well kept and clean. Our room was comfortable and had a small balcony with patio doors that opened. The complimentary breakfast was a bit modest (great for families with kids, but not too many options for people on dietary restrictions), but did the trick. The hotel has good location, is walkable to downtown, has plenty of parking and there is also a large grocery store with coffee shop and pharmacy just next door; this was very convenient. Good stay all in all, would return and recommend to others.

The hotel offers outside parking & a free breakfast. Little bit overpriced for 2 star hotel. The room was clean, good size and with a coffee machine, microwave, iron and comfortable bed. The location was close to all amenities. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast - hot with a nice omelet and sausages, along with some fruits, yogurt, and pastries. The staff was skillful and friendly.

We stayed for two nights at the hotel. Check-In was smooth and the Front Desk person (Jesse I believe her name) was very courteous and professional in answering all questions we had concerning Hotel and Covid also. The Hotel was not very busy as it was mid week. The room was spacious. The bathroom could use updating, especially the shower area but was clean which was the most important aspect. The breakfast selection because of Covid was done well with choosing what you would like in a brown bag. The food was more than enough also. The people working here were very accommodating also..Maintenance needs to look at things more closely in rooms to ensure things work properly like Sliding Doors as they did not close properly. Overall a nice visit for the 2 nights.

Thank you for your glowing review. Jesse will be pleased that she was recognized by her actions and will be thrilled. We had to cut down on providing full service breakfast due to government regulations and we feel terrible about that. Your maintenance issues were all addressed with our concerned department. We hope to see you soon again in the near future

The good: Free breakfast that while not extensive, does cover the bases. Convenient to downtown and a grocery store. Front counter staff were friendly.
The bad: Wildly overpriced for what you get. Check-in is at 4:00 and they are STRICT about it - forget showing up at 3:45, your room will NOT be ready until 4:00. Rooms are loud, and the bathroom tiny (and desperately in need of an upgrade).
Not worth the money for what we paid, next time we’ll stay in Calgary and drive out for the day.

Reserved a room in February for an August Badlands concert - price displayed while reserving was 167.00 for one night. Go to leave the next morning and the bill is 439.00. Only one elevator working during a busy concert weekend along with some type of robot convention. Under staffed and way overpriced. Room was clean and staff pleasant but it's not a Fairmont! Don't appreciate the morning surprise.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time for a two night break in Drumheller. Reception staff on check in were friendly and made us feel welcome. Very professional. Room was good with everything we needed. Loved having a balcony and the large windows made the room nice and light. Great shower and room service worked well with a full or part as per customer request. The breakfast room was bright and a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items Lost a star due to very noisy air con unit in room so could not use at night which made the room very warm. Definitely a good stay overall and we will return next time we visit the area.

As soon as we were checking in, I knew they had a incorrect policy for service dogs. We were told we had to fill out a fact sheet about the service dog. In all reality I should’ve refused because I do not have to fill out anything with respect to my service dog. All I have to do is show proper identification from a certified service dog program. Which anybody with a certified service dog or seeing-eye dog always carries with them. We were put on the pet friendly floor, which may seem like a good idea but my service dog is trained to ignore other dogs where as family pets are not that well trained and can disrupt a service dog. If the patron would’ve been blind with a seeing-eye dog, this could be extremely hazardous for them. In my opinion service dogs should not be on the same floor as family pets. We were staying for two evenings and apparently they did not give us the tag to put on the door to indicate that we wanted our room cleaned and the beds made. So when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon we had to come down and have them make up our room. They were able to do it but only because the cleaning staff were still there. The rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was good. My only complaint is about classifying my service dog as a pet and requiring me to fill out a useless questionnaire asking for information about my service dog that does not pertain to anything with respect to his training.

This hotel is mediocre. Our expectations weren’t too high going in, we’re familiar that Quality Hotels aren’t exactly top shelf. That being said, learn from our mistake - If you are given a room next to the elevator, immediately go back to the desk and ask for a different room, unless you’re someone who can sleep through loud bangs that sound like the hotel is about to crash to the ground. The elevator makes a loud clunk and shudder every time it stops at a floor, and when you’re in the room beside the elevator, it sounds like that clunk is in your bedroom. Eventually the elevator nearest our room was turned off around 11pm, but you could still hear the far elevator clunking along at its stops. I got about four hours of sleep that night. When I mentioned this the next morning at check out I got an apology, but nothing else. Honestly they shouldn’t even assign those rooms to people. When we visit Drumheller in the future I’ll definitely be looking at other accommodation options.

Check in was speedy, and very friendly. The room was clean, though the giant coffee table made it hard to take the pullout sofa out (we had to prop it on its side). The TV was quiet small, but worked just fine. The bed was comfy, and there were lots of pillows. The bathrooms had very little storage/counter space. I wish the microwave shelf was facing the door instead of the room - then it would have been like an extra vanity for the bathroom. The breakfast was great - 2 hot proteins, 2 hot eggs, a variety of breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit etc. A very nice surprise. Only down side was lack of pool. I wouldn't stay for more than 1 night for that reason.
