On a different time of a year it could be a nice motel, but not in summer. AC unit was noisy and useless at the same time. It was working at the full speed for 3 or 4 hours, but is was still too hot in the room to sleep, and I had to ventilate the room in the middle of the night for more than an hour to get some rest. Ground floor rooms could be a better choice...
Staff was very friendly, efficient checking us in, and helpful, but the office was open only until 9, so we missed our chance to change the room.

Helpful staff and clean room. I stayed in the main build room 116 and the was clean. The air condition was great and had a good night sleep on a very hot summer day. The budget motel is a gem in Brooks, AB. Will certainly stay here again and will recommend it.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at this family owned and operated Motel. We were met with a warm welcome and checked into our room in a timely manner. The room was simple, accessible, comfortable, clean and safe. We both enjoyed our stay and the amazing customer service; and because of this, I will be returning customer in the future.

This independently owned motel was a godsend for us on our road trip. The fully equipped kitchen was great, the room was clean, the staff were very friendly and professional. Definitely recommend this motel, especially if you are visiting the nearby Dinosaur Provincial Park!

It is always great to go to Brooks and work there. Whenever I am in Brooks this is always one place that I stay and that is the Plains Motel. Great services as always, room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Rita at the Front Desk has great customer service. Always great to be back.

We spent one night on our way to the Dinesaur Provincial Park. The staff was really nice and helpful although got in a bit later than we had told them. The room was clean and newly redone. The linens and towels were clean. This place was definitely good value and I would stay here again.

Stayed 1 night on a business trip. Found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. Liked having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Wifi worked well. Restaurants both adjacent and across the street, along with a grocery store - everything I needed right there.

This was by far the worst motel I have ever stayed at. If you had any issue with your room, and notified the manager/owner, he would yell and scream at you. He is crazy!!! This place should care more about the paying customer. Maybe he doesn't need the business. I will never come back to this horrible place. The sheets were not clean the bathtub had hair in it. Very disgusting!

Hotel staff were the best!
Rooms were clean and value priced.
Would stay here whenever I am working in Brooks. We were working in Brooks area the Plains Motel picked up the ball when Travelodge dropped it! I am thankful they dropped it as I found a better place to stay. Thank You Plains Motel and Staff!!!

Just spent 3 days in Brooks on business and was trying to save some money by not staying at a chain. Found Plains Motel and they had good rates so I tried it out. Rooms were simple but clean, no issues with the room at all! Great shower and overall a good experience and excellent value. A few exterior things need some work but front desk were keen and I was able to eat next door, get groceries across the street. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but from the cleanliness of the rest of the place, I would expect a similar presentation there. Glad I stay and i will again when I'm passing through.
