We stayed at this hotel for three nights in early to middle September. The location of the hotel is great, right near Les Baux. In addition, for the most part the staff is very good, helping us to get reservations for dinner in nearby towns. The landscaped pool and patio area is very nice too, though the pool was a...

Never wrote a review before but had to share the story of this place and the ripoff it is. upon check in the bed was noted to be pitched dramatically towards the head board. the front desk originally feigned nothing was wrong and played with the bedspread. after i requested someone else look at it they agreed it was a...

Answer from the owner of the hotel on July 29: 1. This client never paid 550 USD per night to the tour operator Euro Connection for one night in our hotel Mas de l'Oulivié. He paid this amount for 2 nights including breakfasts and city taxes. This corresponded to a room of category B at the public rate of 180...

What a wonderful jewel in the middle of Provence. We spent 4 nights at Mas...and used it as a jumping off point for day trips to Avignon, Arles, Chateauneuf du Pape and Le Beau. Easy drives, all. and when we got back each evening to relax around the pool...fantastic! Staff was very helpful in finding restaurants. Breakfast poolside (this was...

We were booked into this hotel as a part of a cycling tour group. The hotel is quite modern, which has it's plusses and minuses. While it lacks some of the character of older hotels, it has been built in very sympathetic style to the surroundings and has nice mod cons. Rooms are spacious by European standards and bathrooms large...

Well Maintained; Clean, Manicured, managed with tender loving care! Our Family of four [11 year old daughter and 15 year old daughter] stayed two nights July 1 and 2. First, location is 4 minutes from Les Baux Town and Cathedral D'Image. More importantly, only 10 minutes to St. Remy- dont miss on Wednesday market day, highlight of 15 year old...

This is a lovely smallish hotel located near Les Baux (approx 3km away, at the bottom of the hill). It was very convenient for visiting Nimes, Arles etc whilst being in a quiet and restful location. We stayed in a ground floor double room with direct access to the gardens. The room was very clean and well decorated, with a...

Aside from initially having some difficult in having my e-mail enquiry replied to, Mas de l'Oulivie was the perfect spot to stay for 3 nights in this area of Provence. I later found out that the hotel closes during the winter months and this explained why I had to e-mail several times to receive a reply. The location just outside...

We stayed here with our two children this past June and while it is a lovely, peaceful place we didn't think it was that special. The rooms are clean and the grounds are fine. The pool is spacious but very, very cold - even in the dead of summer. It is not a destination hotel in my opinion due to...

My husband and I stayed at Mas d'Oulivie for four nights last October, 2005, and wish we'd stayed longer! Our room was on the ground floor on the courtyard. We had a king sized bed and a day bed and the room was extremely attractive, sunny yellow walls and Provencal prints on the beds. The bathroom was the nicest by...

My wife and I stayed at this excellent hotel in July 2004. The room was spotless and the gardens with lavender predominating were beautiful. The staff were friendly, courteous and (fortunately for us) bi-lingual and nothing was too much trouble. There is no evening restaurant but we were recommended some great eating places with reservations made for us and directions...
