Pretty location fronting right on the river. The rooms have been redone and feel clean and sound however there was no effort made in decorating. Furniture and linens are dated and mismatched. Wall art hung haphazardly. A little effort with decor would do wonders. Also, no shelves, no hooks, no where to put anything. Again, poor planning by management. Now that its renovared they should update the decor and make the suites more functional.

Far from main road, nice clean plain room. Two beds, one is worn and the other did the Job. Air conditioning is an heat pump which is great but it keeps knocking like a water pipe; does not matter during the day but to loud at night. Every convenience is there for your comfort. It's like a real home: kitchen, living room and bedroom. Close to a good restaurant, grocery and liquor store. Paid 125$.

Basic, clean accommodations which were reasonably priced and close to "downtown" Cocagne. My only complaint was the heat pump AC could not be turned off and the compressor was very noisy. Other than a restless night it was a positive experience.

We happened on this place by chance after spotting it from across the water and thinking it looked like a motel. It did not have enormous signs out and no directions from the main road. We were pleasantly surprised to find one bedroom apartments with a kitchenette and eating area for the same price as the average motel room. We took an apartment with one king bed in the bedroom but were also shown another with two double beds at the same price. The décor is fairly plain but the kitchen area and floors looked reasonably new and all the furnishings seemed in good condition. For a change a good range of cable channels on the somewhat dated but functional TV. There was also plenty of kitchenware provided so this is an excellent self catering option.

Extremely unimpressed.. I was spending the night in Cocagne for a wedding, and a friend and I booked a room at the Cocagne Motel over a MONTH in advance. Come to find out when we arrive at the motel our reservation was lost and we were told "sorry, nothing we can do". We were both in the wedding party and had even booked one of the rooms the bride and groom had set aside for THEIR party. The woman at the front desk gave us no help at all and even put the blame on someone else.. I would never recommend this business to anyone, and I ended up having to sleep on the floor in a room with five other people...
