Stayed for three nights during mid-October 2019 in this extremely comfortable, warm and conveniently located B&B. The Proprietor (Guylaine) provided the most excellent breakfast suiting all tastes, and was both very friendly and accommodating considering my challenging schedule. Stayed in ground floor Queen size bedroom for two nights, then double on 1st floor for last evening due to the "Queen size" being pre-booked. All rooms are tastefully decorated and themed. Emphasis on customer care and comfort was exceptional. Would recommend this B&B to everyone - much better than city hotels when you are travelling for leisure purposes.
I stayed two nights at Guylaine’s gorgeous B&B and loved both my room and the hospitality. My room, La Premiere Vague, has a view of the water and had every amenity including a comfortable bed with extra pillows, wing chair and small, very clean bathroom with a nice shower and hair dryer. Free wi-fi and a nice breakfast are included. There is a selection of Canadian magazines in the room. Guylaine gave me advice on my daily travels to towns where my ancestors lived, other sites in the area and local restaurants. She is fluent in both French and English. I loved my stay at La Maison Mer de Cocagne.
This B&B had 2 wonderful rooms that my mother and I stayed in. There are at least 2 other rooms in the house. The house itself once served as a small convent - the owner will be happy to share its history. There are pictures of it showing where it was moved across the ice from its original location across the bay on an island. The sea view rooms we had were large and very comfortable. The breakfast served was excellent too. I look forward to returning here with my wife in the future.
We only stayed here for one night on our way from Boston to Nova Scotia and we loved it! My husband and I were traveling with our 8 year old son and it was the perfect place to stop for the night. Our room was comfortable and immaculately clean. The hostess was amazing - she gave us recommendations of what to do that evening (we went to Shediac) and also recommended Hopewell Rocks, which we did on our drive back and probably wouldn't have known about if she hadn't told us! Breakfast was robust with cereal, yogurt, jams, berries, warm croissants, cheese, pate. We were perfectly full and ready for the next leg of our trip! It was like staying with family and we already want to go back! I can't recommend it enough.
This quaint beautiful Inn is warm welcoming personable . The owner is so kind and wanting to make your stay memorable..I highly recommend this Inn if you are looking to make sweet memories. It faces the ocean in a super friendly Acadian village.
