After 12 hours of driving with 2 children it was a perfect stop. Great price for people only staying 8 hrs. Sure the rooms are a bit dated but overall if your needing a comfy bed for a short period it does the trick, and an added bonus was having wifi for the kids and tv for unwinding. Couldn’t have been more happier about the cleanliness of the room and building overall! Room also had a little fridge to store our road snacks for the night.

For the coffee drinkers of the world there is no coffee pot in the room but I’m sure the restaurant would have that.

Stopped here for a night, after a very long day of driving, on our way to Thunder Bay. The hotel itself is very clean, but could use some TLC and some updating, as it is a little dated. The room was very comfortable and clean. The beds we a little uncomfortable and squeaked every time one moved to get comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel is closed, due to COVID restrictions. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly.

There's a restaurant in the motel, it's quit expensive but food is good. It's pet friendly. Pretty clean. Staff is awesome and really helpful if you have any questions, they really wanna help. I'd go back there if I pass thru Ignace. Price for the room is ok .

This was an excellent place for my two boys and I to sleep when passing through. We were looking for a place with two beds for a decent price. We were driving in late and leaving early - all we needed was a bed. For our purpose - it was excellent! The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean and fairy up to date.

We did not eat the onsite restaurant as we left to early but the gent at the desk informed us that the food was good. It looked like a decent place to eat - like a diner.

PS - the gent at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

The rooms are not the fanciest and the wifi is terrible but the bed was comfortable and there is a restaurant down stairs. Guy at the front desk needs to be a little more friendly he could learn for the really nice lady would was working the night I check in.

We again booked this hotel as we travel through Ignace every year at the same week in June. When I reserved our rooms (we book 5 rooms for our group), I reminded the staff of our problems last year with the noise. I asked them to put us away from the hockey players rooms. They said they would do all they could to accommodate us. When we checked in, we again asked about being in 'quieter' rooms, which we did get. One of the couples in our group had a room on the first floor and they could hear some noise above them, but not anything like last year! It was not enough to disturb their sleep. When we left at 5:00 am the next morning, the partiers were still at it. Also, the end window in the hallway was broken out with glass everywhere. Not sure who to blame for that?? The bottom line is, we appreciate the hotel's efforts. Oh, we were told that new management was to take over July 1, 2013 so have no idea what to expect next year when will be booking again. With new management, I hope the restaurant is as good as it is now-just excellent food and a huge variety.

Travelling through to Edmonton, bunked down here on our second evening. Altough the Inn may look simple and older, it is clean and the beds were comfortable. Everyone was very accommodating from the front desk, to the dining room. Home made cooking was wonderful.
A good place to stay.

We were driving through the area enroute from Calgary to St. John’s and stopped for the night. The Inn was easy to book via telephone and staff were easy to reach after hours when we arrived. The room was dated but spotless. Beds felt a little tired and likely should be replaced. The sheets were some of the cleanest and best-looking I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The bathroom was, again, dated but clean and everything worked properly. Would definitely recommend for a quick stopover.

Travelling with pets, easy access to ground floor rooms. Great restaurant 6 am to 10 pm, set us up with dinner trays to eat in our room. Tv, running fridge ready to use, A/C works. Walked the dogs on the snowmobile trail serving Ignace at 7pm; be aware that bears are present as well.

My husband and I and our 2 westie dogs stayed here on Aug 22nd, on the way home from our vacation. The location is right off of Hwy 17, but the staff gave us a room at the back so it was really quiet. The facility is an older building typical of those used by construction workers, hockey teams, and truckers. HOWEVER, do not let this put you off. The room was well priced, very clean, and quiet. The check in and restaurant staff were very friendly, and we appreciated the large parking lot to walk our dogs. The beds were really clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the dinner, nothing fancy, but even though we ordered a typical chicken finger platter, we were able to choose from the salad bar, which was very fresh and well stocked. At $35 for 2, you can't go wrong. Breakfast is available from 6a.m. which was great as we wanted to be on the road early, Again, the server was very friendly, the coffee mugs were huge, the bread was homemade on site, and the overall portion size was huge. Obviously to satisfy the truckers and construction workers! Breakfast for 2 was under $20. Should also be noted that even though we stayed there on a Friday night, we did not hear anything from the main floor bar/lounge.
