We had an amazing time here! We booked the yoga retreat last minute and we're entirely sure what to expect but were absolutely blown away by this place! While I'm not sure I'd describe it as a yoga retreat (there is one yoga class per day), the spa is exactly what we needed. There are lots of different saunas and the two outdoor hot tubs look out onto a beautiful river lined by snow covered trees. The main building is made of wood and has a really rustic feel with a fireplace and areas to relax. We rented snow shoes from the desk for less than $10 a day USD and got free access to a beautiful picturesque park nearby to use them in. We stayed for 2 days and 2 nights and were really sad to leave by the end. The only thing I think that could be improved are the food offerings-- breakfast was mostly pre-packed things like yogurt/cheese and the lunch options are only a hummus plate and pizza. However, there are restaurants nearby where you can get something more substantial. Even with that, we had a lovely time and will definitely be returning.

We had a stay at Auberge et Spa Beaux Rêves couple weeks ago. Absolutely stunning hotel with nature surrounding you and a river with waterfalls visible from your room balcony and spa area.

Room was great, we had jacuzzi in our room and the bed was also equipped with spa/massage device that you can use free of charge. Breakfast was delivered to our door every morning in a special bag which was very convenient as it gives you an option to take it outside and have a breakfast by the river or in the hotel decking area. Staff was always friendly and happy to help with any enquiries.

Spa offered a lot of opportunities to relax like Finnish style saunas, aroma therapy room, heated pool and also another heated pool with jacuzzi and waterfall additions. There are different types of massages offered and the hotel also has a yoga room with a professional instructor.

Couldn't image more relaxing place than Auberge et Spa Beaux Rêves 😌

We spent 3 nights at 5 in the cozy cottage and it was an unforgettable experience.
The cottage was very well placed, a little away and overlooking the river in which my boys cooled off several times.
The house was very clean and especially very well equipped including kitchen utensils and small appliances.
The little extra was the barbecue on the terrace overlooking the river that gave a side "my Cabin in Canada": 10/10!

We would have given it a 3.5 star. It was very cozy, quiet, rural and in nature, near the river. The landscape is magnificent, we said to ourselves that with the autumn leaves it would have been even more beautiful. Nice that there weren't many visitors who didn't sleep there. Clean room, comfortable bed with a little surprise of a vibrating bed with neurospa experience for bedtime. Soundproof and intimate room.

Areas for improvement: lack of relaxing music in outdoor spa facilities; the outdoor cold shower did not work; the bedroom fireplace was working, but the flames were very low and did not really warm the room; no balcony furniture and rocking chair in the roomy room. The biggest flaw is the bistro and lunch section. The lunch box is an uninteresting cold lunch and the hummus platter, although tasty, is a bit simple. I do not recommend having breakfast in the room. Lack of choice of tea at the bistro, just uninteresting pocket teas.

Despite these areas for improvement, I had a wonderful romantic weekend with my boyfriend. ♥️ It was a great place to spend some time together. We will have good memories.

I went there for the baths and a massage...gift received at Christmas.

The staff was very nice. On the other hand, the owner was there in the section where you can grab a bite to eat with his laptop and he was on a Zoom call to manage his business for at least 30 minutes. He spoke loudly without worrying about those around him and praised his qualities as a good boss. It was honestly very unpleasant. When we go to the spa, it's to relax and unwind, not to hear about business, marketing plans, his views on social networks and to witness his comments of lack of trust towards one of his employees.

Once his conversation was over, I let him know that I was very disappointed with his attitude and that he had ruined my moment of relaxation.

I didn't feel a sincere apology from him. He seemed to be saying to himself, I'm at home here. This gentleman clearly did not understand that he operates a spa and not a neighborhood restaurant-bar. Total lack of politeness and respect.

A charming auberge and spa . Great one night stay. Stayed in a Queen Deluxe room and was very pleased . Balcony overlooking the river. Nothing more peaceful than napping with the sound of the river . Hammock , fireplace , double jacuzzi, spa bed with nature sounds that was very relaxing . A gem of a place . Bilingual service.
Continental breakfast included . Only thing I would do to improve, add a hook in bathroom to hang up clothes and a croissant in the breakfast basket . Everything else was amazing !

Overall we really enjoyed ourselves but I decided to give 3/5 because of a few things that I couldn’t let slide for the price we paid and it’s reputation. One being the level of service we received. From the onset of the process I found the employees general attitudes were cold. It could be because they get their share of tourists but it wouldn’t hurt to smile and show an ounce of appreciation for those who choose to spend a couple of days at this establishment. If it was just that then I’d let it slide but the facilities were not up to par. One sauna room did not close all the way so while trying to warm we had to battle the cold. When we brought it up they said they knew. A simple solution would have been to put a curtain if they knew but it was left un-repaired. The steam room did not smell like eucalyptus as advertised and one of the infrared sitting areas didn’t appear to be working. I chose the queen suite and can only imagine what it’s like in the summer but in these dreary winter months I felt like I was in a cellar. Even with the curtains open it was dark. The floors were cold and there a was a draft coming from the sliding door. Some brighter lights and some throw rugs would gave made a huge difference. We were also a ways from the main building which deterred us from going to the baths a second time. I guess that’s what the tub is for in the room. My favourite part of the stay was visiting Saint Adele. It’s a charming town with lots to do. I’d go back but not necessarily to this property. Not our cup of tea but lots of potential if your looking for solitude and no distractions.

This Auberge is well located and very accessible. Free parking.
Rooms are spacious and overlooking the river. Ours had a balcony to enjoy the outdoors and the peaceful surroundings. Great natural light. Bed is very comfortable.
Includes continental breakfast served in room in the morning and possibility to have allergen free options (just ask the friendly staff at check-in).
We enjoyed our stay and recommend this Auberge. We will return.

It was our first time at this spa and it did not disappoint. It’s in a beautiful location and offers an incredible experience. The mood is perfect to reconnect with your significant other. The whole area is romantic with beautiful rooms that give a view to the river. The staff is professional, pleasant, kind, and overall amazing. Nicolas, Melina and Patricia were especially welcoming and helpful. Although we are going through a pandemic they are taking the proper measures to make their guest feel safe — everything was exceptionally clean and there were limited amount of people which allowed for social distancing.
I highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to go again, very soon!

Although the Spa was closed because of the covid restrictions, I booked a one-night getaway. We were able to check-in even before the stated arrival time of 4 pm. The room and the whole place was very clean and inviting. We enjoyed the in-room fireplace and double jacuzzi tub in our top floor King Suite (#12). The jacuzzi tub jets were VERY loud so we didn't really use them. The controls are on the wall so you have to get out if you want to turn it off.

We brought our own wine and cheese for a light dinner. *Don't forget the bottle opener! There was no tv in the room which is nice for a real unplugged vacation.
Based on other reviews we did not expect much from the "continental breakfast" delivered to the room. We brought our own fruit, juice and other breakfast itemst. The room had a fridge, kettle, and Keurig machine. There were 2 juice glasses, 2 wine glasses, and paper cups for coffee.

We did not hear people in the rooms near us except when they were in the hall and with only a few rooms on each floor that was not a problem. We did hear the patio doors from other rooms being opened and closed. We had to clear snow off the balcony. There was a shovel for that.

We used the passes for Parc Doncaster on both days and really enjoyed walking and cross country skiing.

We would love to return sometime to try the spa. The hotel and staff were very nice.
