This hotel does not deserve its high rating. The check in was good and very helpful. But I got lost twice trying to get to my room. This hotel is a maze of badly designed additions with a very confusing amount of corridors and stairways. The room was small but fairly nice. There

Thank you for your review jockm206, We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. Our property has indeed added different phases to the original hotel. We consider that it makes it part of our charm, growing over the past 80 years! Your comments concerning the food will be given directly to the F&B team so they can make the appropriate changes to their service. And as for the ski in/ski out part, we are a ski in/ski out property, and very proud to be so. We hope to have the chance to have you visit us again soon and show you the real Mont Gabriel!

Is there a fireplace in the lobby or any other place other than in a room?
Hello! We do indeed have MANY fireplaces in the hotel's common areas, such as the bar, mezzanine and most meeting rooms. You are more than welcome to grab a book and a coffee and enjoy the heat! Unfortunately, our dinning room and lobby do not have any but we are looking to add one in the near future! Thank you for your interest and thanks to everyone who answered :)
