Budget hotel does the job. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom offers spacious countertop space. There are lots of restaurants nearby. With the price it offered during Summer busy season, no complaint.
Our repeat visit. The same scrupulously clean nice hotel room. Hotel office most helpful. Our four-night stay was pleasant. Walking and hiking trails nearby. Confederation Park in downtown Gananoque..
When we came in the smell was horrible which lead us to blast the air conditioner to drown out the smell the sheets were uncomfortable and there were a lot of stains as well as many visible layers of dust
The second you walk into room 166; the dampness hits you; and the AC was on! A musty smell was present as well. This room needs a full make over and update. Carpet is buckled, frayed and stained. Bathroom has poor venilation and yellow spots on ceiling due to this; and lack of cleaning. Water pressure is poor. Paint is chipped and scratched off many areas. Cracks in ceiling and walls. Disgusting and NOT worth the amount asking!
DONT GO HERE EVER! DONT EVEN STEP FOOT IN THE PARKING LOT! DISGUSTING BUSINESS! The owner is rude to customers and just tourists to the area! He is a terrible business man and not a kind person! Other hotels in the area have nicer managers and owners!
Sink didn't have running hot water. Housekeeping never changed sheets or towels or anything. The washroom door didn't close (let alone lock). Upon complaining, we were charged extra to switch to another room.
Disgusting! If we were paying 40$ and not 140$, I would feel differently. Bedding had blood stains, there was black hair ball on the bathroom floor (none of us had dark hair), stains on chairs and a shower curtain that was stained with purple shampoo.
There was a Jacuzzi at the end of the room with no walls or door visible to everyone as soon as the door opened. We pulled out the sofa bed for our son to sleep on at 11:30pm and found that someone before us did a haircut and left hair inside the sofa bed. There was also food on the bed and the blankets were ripped. We called the maintenance person and he rudely told my wife to get out of the room so he could clear it as she was explaining and asking him what our options were. He also suggested that if we didnt want to stay, we could go somewhere else (@11:30pm in the night). He cleaned up and put on new blankets but did not even have the courtesy to apologize. The lady at the reception is very nice, courteous and was apologetic. She gave us a $20 discount on check-out but the stay there was disgusting experience to say the least.…
Booked a 2 night stay here with friends whom had another room and we where disgusted by the cleaness. We tried to cancel our second night but couldn't get out of it ,would of lost our money. Both our rooms we dirty. Our friends asked for another room as the first room they had smelled musty. The ceilings were full of stains and the sofa also had stains. We did not dare to sit on it. Our friends bed had stains on their sheets in which they asked for new and changed themselves. Carpets were stained and ripped. The toilets were filthy on the bottom with dust dirt and urine. Breakfast was in a box they gave you at the front desk. I wouldn't feed it to the animals. DO NOT STAY HERE not recommended
Great pillows and beds. Had a great sleep during our 3 night stay. We had 3 rooms and they were all clean. You can get breakfast with the room consisting of a egg muffin, a muffin and juice i think it was. Never ate it since tim hortons and McDonald's is right there. Its on a main street but it very quiet in the rooms. We were on the second floor close to the road and heard nothing from the inside.
