This was a fabulous bed and breakfast. Bruce and Esther were great hosts and Bruce had one of those great sense of humours. They picked us up from the station and returned us there for our next journey. The fully cooked breaky was to die for. We would definitely recommend this place for a great stay. Also the Riva Italian restaurant just down the road is highly recommended.

Superb stay, the hosts Bruce and Esther were amazing and made us feel like part of their family. We will truly miss the chats. The room was extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished and had everything you would need. Breakfast time was a delight, fruit and yogurt, Esther's home made muffins, yummy and your own choice of a perfectly cooked breakfast, Eggs Benny, lovely. Free off street parking and WiFi. A very short walk to Main Street for local restaurants and the Gananoque boats. Absolutely perfect!!

We stayed here en route from Toronto to Montreal. Absolutely lovely. Gananoque is such a pretty town. The bedroom was lovely, a comfy bed, lovely bathroom which although not en suite offered a good degree of privacy getting to it and we felt it was close enough to be. A lovely breakfast of eggs benedict (which I had only just discovered in Canada) which was delicious

We chose to stay at here after discovering it on Booking.com. We stayed for one night with our hosts Bruce and Ester who where a friendly and welcoming couple who made us feel at home the minute we walked through the door. We stayed in Queen Suite which was the whole top floor of the house. A beautifully laid out area with a private living room and wonderfully comfy bed. Bruce took time to explain the local area and where we could eat out for the evening. Breakfast was fantastic and freshly prepared by Ester the following morning where the conversation flowed with the other guests and Bruce but was not overpowering and intrusive. All local amenities where within a short walk from the B&B including numerous bars and restaurants. The 1,000 island boat cruse was again well within walking distance and our hosts kindly let us leave our hire car at the B&B whist we went on a boat ride for the morning. We had a fantastic stay and truly wish them all the best luck in the future with their B&B.

The owners are very friendly and educated, the made out stay very comfortable, we felt like being at home. They prepare a fresh breakfast in the morning and is possible to park back courtyard. I recommend.

Gananoque is a charming little town with a terrific waterfront location, some very decent restaurants and a park full of stunning art sculptures, a few geese, a couple of swans, and a man sitting on a bench who will give you a 1000 Island/Gananoque pin.

The Westgate BnB is located a short walk from all the above and is itself full of charm.

The hosts are charming, the house is comfortable and full of charming touches, the breakfast was excellent.

We just stayed at this wonderfulB&B and would certainly return if we ever visit the area again. Esther and Bruce were very friendly and helpful. The suite we were booked into was wonderful. Very quaint, clean and comfortable. Also very quiet. The breakfast in the morning was well prepared and very satisfying. Thanks Bruce and Esther once again

We were overwhelmed with the welcome received by our hosts Esther and Bruce. There were constant beverages offered whenever we came back from our trips. Breakfast was great and tasty, in fact there was so much we had difficulty choosing. Truly hospitable couple who went out of their way to make us feel at home. We had a suite with enormous bathroom... all in all a pleasurable couple of days in this lovely town and it was easy to walk to all the places we wanted.

We were welcomed very warmely by the owners Esther and Bruce. We drank a coffee together and they gave us all the information about where to eat and the attractions in the surrounding. We had booked the suite at the top of the house which is very nice and everything was so tidy and clean in a way you nearly never find. The breakfast was wonderful: We had fresh fruits, an omelette and selfmade muffins - wow wow wow

Our stay with Bruce and Esther was really great. We stayed with them one night in June 2014. They welcomed us in their home with tea and homemade cookies. Really lovely couple. Very nice and clean room with huge bathroom and enough privacy. We really liked the breakfast Esther made for us. Really delicious! This B&B is the place to be when you stay at the 1000 islands ! Thanks again Bruce and Esther !
