Our hostess, Patsy, was friendly, helpful and very energetic. Her breakfasts were great and there was lots of variety. Our room, The Priest’s Room, was OK but was a little frayed round the edges. It was good that it had its own bathroom, but be aware that it leads off the residents’ lounge and the noise from late owls and early birds could be obtrusive. Patsy told us that the business has recently changed hands and that there are plans for repairs and renovations. We felt that these are definitely needed. The house itself is lovely and clearly has lots of potential. We wish Patsy and the new owner lots of luck with the updating. The Presbytery has the potential to be something very special.

I have stayed at a few good bed and breakfasts in my travels but Gite le Presbytere is above and beyond any bed and breakfast that I have stayed at. The building itself is stunning and very clean and well kept. I think the place itself has 5 guest rooms and we were in a room called "The Priest's Room". The staff at the place, Patsy and Michel, are very knowledgeable about the area and pointed us to some of the best touristy things to do around Percé including a whale watching cruise and a visit to a museum that is set up to look like a general store from 100 years ago. This place is really something to see! I could go on and on about their breakfasts. This place is a "bed and breakfast" and their breakfasts are awesome. So awesome, we skipped lunch for the 5 days that we were there. If I had to say something negative about the place, nothing really, except I could not sit in their Adirondack chairs for more than 15 minutes. That said, aren't all Adirondack chairs uncomfortable? Thank you Gite Le Presbytere! I will be back next summer!!!

This is like staying with your grandmother(in a positive way). A very sweet room "the maid's room" next to a back stair decent to the kitchen. Even though there was a shared bathroom, we were is a small hallway with two bath and no other rooms. Michelle served a wonderful breakfast. He had four different jellies/jams that he had made himself. A great variety of other offerings. At breakfast you are at a large dining table with all the other guest.; a great way to discuss activities of the day. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Excellent location, a charming old house, and a sumptuous breakfast make this one of the best lodgings in Perce. We shared a two room suite with several common bathrooms down the hall, so we never had to wait. Perfect.

Percé, Quebec is a place most of us have known about since early school days. The famous long cliff with a big hole in it. I decided it was time to see it for myself. With a bit of browsing through the various places one might stay in while visiting Perce, one B&B caught my attention by the name of Gite Le Presbytere. Described as once being the house where the priest lived intrigued me. And the photos reminded me of how it might be to visit your grandmother's house in some bygone era. Charming, yet comfortable. A good bed and breakfast requires a good host. Michel Boudeau performs that role with finesse at Gite Le Presbytere. Michel is amiable and takes very good care of his guests. The B&B is set in a quiet spot, next to the cemetery and grand old church. To me, there was a sense of history staying in the old house. Its about 10 minutes to leisurely walk down the peaceful street to get to the sea shore. The breakfast was set out on a long dining room table, and included fresh fruit, coffee, cheese, spreads, toast and more. No need to leave the table hungry. I enjoyed my "Maid's" room, and I enjoyed the old fashioned decor and laid back atmosphere of the place. Although there are many other places one could stay while visiting Perce, if I go back again I will call Michel first to see if he has a vacancy.

A very cosy home-like place away from home... nice room but a bit small. Luckily, we had a beautiful living room next to the room which no one used, so we could use it. The highlight is the extraordinary breakfast, everything is deliciously homemade, from the wonderful jam to the tasteful fritata. Nicest host - helpful and very friendly. Very good place !!!

Stayed at Au Presbytere for two nights. The host, Michel is very professional and knows the area like the back of his hand. He was very helpful giving us an overview of things to see and also helped us figure out what to do on a rainy day. Perce is a lot more impressive in the sun than in the rain, by the way. The B&B room we had was fine and the breakfasts were very nice. As usual, the best part was talking to the other guests and learning about their travels. The location of Au Presbytere is ideal, as it is just a five minute walk from the main wharf area but is at the end of a quiet shady street so is quite peaceful.

The location is perfect, at walking distance of major sites and best restaurants. The rooms are delicate, old-fashioned and charming. Michel will tell you everything you need to know and more. And the breakfast diversity will make your head spin. In such a visited and touristic area, it was wonderful to feel this dedication to quality.
