Rooms were, however clean and adequate as most of the day is spend away visiting sites.
Percé is a maximum two day place to visit. A lot of activity site were already closed for the season and we visited just after labour day.
On site restaurant very good but pricey.
The Les Trois Sœurs is 3 buildings; Two of which are Motel style buildings with the rooms and a quaint little house that is linked with the Hotel as their flag restaurant.
You might want to make reservations to the restaurant since the Les Trois Sœurs host tourists in buses and the small restaurant fills very fast. I was lucky to get a table on my second night after the French from France Tourist bus left, leaving me (one of maybe 5 guests) left in the place in late September.
Have a look at a map if you want a view of the Rocher because if I have my orientation correct you'll want a room either in the North building facing South or the South building facing South since the rooms of the South building facing North look onto the parking lot and the other building.
If you get there by car there is plenty of parking and its free for guests.
My room was a spacious double size bed with a very clean bathroom. I particularly appreciated the seating arrangement and the furniture. It was above in quality from what you normally see in hotels. The staff was helpful when needed (basic questions about Perce).
The best spot however is on the huge lawn between the buildings. Adirondack chairs and a set of rocking chair with table give you an amazing vantage point of the Rocher and remember you are on the Oceans side. The Ocean winds and air while you sit there drinking your wine and eating charcuterie and cheese is just ... well paradise.
(note: the food and drink I brought myself and is not provided by the Hotel)
The main village is easily walked and you can also walk to the Rocher at low tide but be aware that it is a dangerous thing to do as rocks fall continuously from the Rocher itself and from the Cap Mont Joli which is a cliff side you'll have to go by if you want to make your way there. I small avalanche of rocks almost hit me as I past Cap Mont Joli so be warned.
The view is spectacular. Right on the ocean with a fabulous view of the rock!
Highly recommend!
I was expecting humidity in the room since it's a semi basement and near the beach. However there is humidity and there is humidity. The horribly strong earthy musty smell hit me as soon as I opened the door. It could be a sign that mold is starting take hold. There is a dehumidifier in the hall but not in the rooms. I opened the window and turned the heat on and kept the bathroom fan on. The bed felt very cold and almost damp! The heat helped with that. The smell permeated my pajamas. I made sure to keep my suitcase shut at all times. The floor didn't seem properly cleaned because I noticed dust under the bed when I picked up something that I dropped on the floor. The rest of the room was very clean People on the floor above access their room from the outside, it's a motel not hotel, so I could hear them go up and down the stairs and walk on the balcony.
On the plus side, there is a minuscule fridge in the room which was useful and a coffee maker. unfortunately no microwave. The bed is comfortable and clean. I could see Percé rock from my little window. The people at reception and the cleaning lady were very nice. The motel is will situated at a walking distance from the center of town but far enough to be quiet. Chairs and picnic tables at the back allow for a relaxing time. Access to the beach as well.
I would go back to this motel but never in the semi-basement.
Our room was basic but clean and modern.
You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and I particularly loved relaxing in the large grass yard that overlooks the beach, with plenty of chairs - including loungers and a rocking bench. They also have a fire pit that the staff lights at night.
I found the location of the Motel to be ideal because it's not on the busy main strip and overlooks a very peaceful rock beach. The walk to the main strip is 10 minutes.
Overall, I loved my stay and would definitely return.
This was disappointing and the surly greeting we got when we checked in didn't make it any better.
They didn't have photos. So we took some (see below).
Walking distance to all amenities and to the village.
The sounds of the waves can be heard from the room and are soothing to sleep and wake up to.
The Roché Percé can be seen from some of the rooms. There is a lovely sitting area by the water with a fire pit. Great place to enjoy a glass or two of wine.
"Be sure the room has a/c, ground floor probably better as there is no elevator, and water/rock view."Read full review
