We are big-rig friendly and our sites are available as back-in, pull through, River View, Non Service and/or tenting options are all available!

It has gone downhill. Money hungry owners. Locals are disappointed seeing this as many local people supported it by staying there, along with out of town extended families. Big city dreams only ruining the beautiful natural area, false advertising. Including new owners cutting down trees, shrubs in a campsite next to you, when campground was pretty much empty. Been going here for years. Won’t be now, as stated by many locals, and others. Tourist expensive money hungry now.

Really enjoyed staying at Riverside. Quiet evenings and nights, clean washrooms. Nice little pool. Good laundry facilities. The best campground staff! Very friendly and helpful. They like and deserve bran/date muffins from Max’s! Riverside would be 5/5 except that their price is $20 more than anywhere i stayed across three provinces this summer.

We rented 2 ebikes from Riverside Campground and they had, not only exceptional service, but unbeknownst to us they reimbursed us for the one rental after we discovered the brakes were not working properly. We did not ask for this but were very pleasantly surprised to see such great service. We would definitely rent from them again. Great bikes and superb service. The office was spotless as well. Left with really great feeling about their campground. Might have to go back to camp.

We love Riverside Campground and have been travelling here for the past few years. Unfortunately, this campground has been sold and we won’t be back next year due to the 25% increase in their rates! We are very sad about this. Too bad the new owner had to ruin a good thing.

We camped at this campground only for one night. We are tenters so got a spot in the non serviced sites. These sites are very close together and are on their own and have only an outhouse( which are clean and well stocked though). The location is nice, it's close to the river which is lovely. I found the cost of $37 to be way too steep for a small tent pad with a broken picnic table and garbage on the ground when we arrived. Also, they allowed a couple with 3 annoying barking dogs to be in the site next to us. I don't mind dogs at a campground if they are under control and quiet, these dogs were neither. They barked at everyone and everything. There were no staff coming down to check on the campers at all during our stay. They also double booked our site so that at 10pm a family showed up in their camper claiming we were in their spot. The office gives no proof of site payment, no tag to put on the post etc. so there really was no way that they were able to say that they had the spot. They had to sort it out with the office and found something else, but what a pain for them so late in the evening and for us as well. Overall the location by the river is nice but the price for unserviced sites, the lack of screening for noisy pets and checking in on campers throughout the evening is lacking. A tag or receipt to leave on the dashboard with site number etc. would also be a good idea. …

Went here for the first time in August. This is a great place and location, close to Kimberley, close to the river (walking distance). The campground is quiet, clean with mini-golf and a pool. It has laundry available and well and bike rentals

We have stayed here before & didn’t write a review. This is a beautiful spot in the Kootenays. We love the natural setting. It is pet friendly. The staff is helpful. Internet is not available at the sites. The river walk is lovely. Family are is nicely set up. This is our go to campground when we are in the area. All the COVID protocol is in place. Everything is nice & clean!

Had four wonderful nights camping here. The staff were friendly and helpful . Great campground next to the Kimberley Community Forest. It is a gem of a place ! Lots of trees ! Many trails around the camp ground also. The bathrooms were clean.

This is our third time staying here. Campsites are decent sized,quiet, clean and private. Lots of walking trails on site. Biking trails directly across the road. We stay up the hill to have easy access to bike trails and laundry. Laundry is clean and it is always great to be able to wash our sweaty gear. 10 minute drive to town.

Covid camping holiday, pool had occupancy restrictions so it was not at all crowded, staff were all friendly and helpful. Campground is located on a hill so you may need to drive to get firewood, go swimming, play mini golf etc. Sites are well maintained, some are on the edge of high banks so not so secure for little ones, walk down to the river and playground is nice.
