We stayed for a week in a two bed apartment within the hotel. The apartment was everything we needed - 2 bathrooms, a lounge, a kitchen and two bedrooms. We had asked for twin beds in one room and a double in the other, and this had been organised as requested.

The room overlooked the ski school area, and you could just see the bottom of the main ski slope from the room. It is described as 'ski in and ski out'. It certainly is, the ski locker room (ground floor) is about 10 metres from the ski school t bar lift! Just ask at reception for a key.

The hotel has a bar and restaurant, but it also has a small food shop to allow you to get things like breakfast cereal and milk. Tea and coffee are provided in the room.

The room has a gas fire in the lounge which is great for relaxing in front of after a day on the slopes.

We were booked in room only, so used the restaurant some days, and found the menu to be comprehensive and (by UK standards) cheap. The beer range was very good as well.

The hotel has two outdoor hot tubs which my wife said were excellent (I'm not a hot tub kind of person!).

The hotel itself if part of a complex of hotel, bar, restaurant, hire shop and cafe all clustered around the main ski lift - all very convenient. There is also a shuttle bus to and from the near by town in the evenings to allow for meals out. It stops right outside the front door. You can walk to town, but allow between 30 and 45 minutes depending on ice (we walked down and got the bus back).

One other thing to note, which really relates to Kimberley, not the excellent hotel, the skiing itself is excellent but hard. If you are used to the Alps, then every run is at least one grade higher than you would think - the Canadian Greens here are really French blues, and the Canadian blues are French easy to hard reds. I wasn't brave enough to try the blacks. The runs are all in excellent condition, but just be aware that a green may be a lot harder than you were expecting!

Oh, and, to end on a positive, we plan to go again, next year, so it cant be that bad!!!

We are currently staying Trickle Creek Lodge and Heike from the front desk has been outstanding. I work at a hotel and I understand how hard it is sometimes to manage things with Covid and she has gone above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She has been more than accommodating with our requests and has always followed up with us which made us feel truly like welcome guests. Any questions or concerns we had she was extremely polite and professional. Would stay again here just from her service! Thank you again Heike!

Stayed in a mountain view studio with a balcony and king bed. Beautifully appointed, well designed, ability to cook with kitchen equipment available, and the fire place is a bonus. We would have liked to use the hot tub before skiing, but it wasn't open before 10:00 am. I noticed they are uncovered all night and water is evaporating and heat is escaping. There is an electrical breaker that needs replacing so we couldn't run the dishwasher. We left a note in the room. Underground parking was extremely convenient. Highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on your stay with us this past winter. Our all suite hotel really makes it easy for our guests to prepare meals in their room when they are not wanting to eat out. Thank you for your feedback regarding the pool hours, we will review this information for possible changes in the near future. We do hope to see you again in the near future.

We rented several condos here over Christmas (27 to 30th)paying a shockingly high amount. We chose this location because of ease to the ski hill and full kitchens. The rooms were grungy, lots of dog hair even in the dishes, poor lighting, in one the dishwasher didn’t work, no bowls, minimal supply of dishes, a laughable coffee maker, and so on. With no ice maker for guest use, when I asked for some ice, I was told there was an ice maker in my freezer. I persisted saying I did not have an ice maker in my freezer, and then was instructed to get a bowl from my room and they would provide me with a bowl of ice. My ‘bowl’ was a colander, there were no bowls. My husband asked at the front desk for paper cups and was told that he would need to go to his room and make the request over the house phone. The house phone in our room didn’t work. So no cups! We will definitely find other accommodations next year. Perhaps at a different ski hill.

My son and I travelled to Kimberly for a golf getaway. I’ve only ever stayed at the private condos on the hill and having a dog sometimes it’s difficult to accommodate so I wanted to try the lodge. Very disappointed.

My reservation was not booked correctly, thankfully they gave us a larger room no charge. But….. balcony facing the ski hill, not the best view in the summer plus the AC unit is so loud sitting out there was not pleasant!

The kitchen is well stocked for a hotel but the appliances need updating. All the light fixtures give terrible lighting and some produce awful buzzing noises! The kitchen chairs are disgusting…. Photo attached!

The pools water looked clean enough but owning my own hot tub, the pools should not have dark rings at the water level 🤮

The hotel’s elevator broke day 2, 3rd floor with a dog and bad knees not ideal. At least offer us something for the inconvenience!!

The place was quiet, I now know why!! I won’t be back.

Recently stayed at tricklecreek lodge, and the location is fantastic being right on the ski hill but the building itself needed some love. Customer service was good. The lodge does have a pool, hot tub and workout facility but prices were a little steep for the rooms you get.

Our initial stay of 4 nights was extended by additional 3 nights. Cozy, clean 1 bdrm
apartment with nice balcony in the lodge located just on the ski hill, was all what we needed.
Skiing conditions were just excellent. Right kind of perfectly groomed snow, and the hill with many good runs. Equally perfectly kept are the X-country Ski trails located next to the ski hill. Located near by Trickle Creek Golf Course at this time of the year has a set of trails for walkers, snowshoers and fat bike riders.
The staff in the hotels front desk is very friendly and cooperative. Very clean well maintained gym, hot pool and ski storage, as well as spacious underground heated
parking are the good addition to the package.

Crew of three. Rented a studio. Got all what one needs on a ski trip; location on hill, comfy beds, well equipped kitchenette, heated underground parking, lockers for gear, hot tub / gym / pool, bathroom and kitchen supplies and above all, good service by courteous staff. In fact, there was no instance in 6 years we've been visiting TCL that anybody working there was unresponsive to our requests. Highly recommended for those who don't grow cranky without Netflix & junk food outlets for 7 nights in a row : )

Despite a near empty hotel (most rooms had balconies )we were given the smallest room with two small windows, of which only one opened a few inches.
The beautiful location could not be enjoyed.
Our stay would have been much more enjoyable if we felt that the hospitality was more generous .

Pro: The night front desk guy was great and had no issue with us in the lounge area in the evening. It is convenient as it’s very close to the ski lift. The rooms were spacious, but could use some tlc. Our bathroom towel rack was about to fall off and kitchen sink was leaking.
Cons: If it was just one or two things, I probably wouldn’t leave a review.

First off, it was odd we had to sign an agreement that we wouldn’t let our kids (15 yrs, 17 yrs) run around the lodge unattended.
The bathroom fans in all the bathrooms were unusually loud. The toilet paper and tissue paper were rough.
For $300. + per night, I expected some good old USA customer service. The rooms were not checked daily for towels, toilet paper, garbage etc.
We were a large group of 24+ and part of the ski experience is the apes ski time in the hot tub and pool.
The outdoor pool was very cold. The front desk staff related the boiler was broken. The water has a green tinge and there was algae on the sides and stairs of the pool.
One of the hot tubs was empty, and looking at reviews in 2023, it appears the hot tub has been broken since then. The other hot tub was also not clean as the water was cloudy.
One of our group members went to front desk for toilet paper, and the staff member said she didn’t have any, and gave them a box of Kleenex.
The basement parking garage door was broken and seems to be a common problem reading other reviews.
