Are just finishing up our stay here and it was a great place. All the people we encountered were courteous and very helpful! Shannon and Penelope at the front desk were so helpful. Leanne, the manager, was so kind to upgrade us to a bigger suite after two of our family discovered they had slept in a broken hide a bed that we couldn’t close up after the first night. Also, thank you to Grant (maintenance) who tried to fix the sofa bed, and was a wealth of information. The rooms are very nice and clean… the beds are super comfortable. The outdoor pool and hot tub were warm and hot, and the kids (17 and 15) enjoyed it a couple times. Hotel is pet friendly! Which was a bonus for us! Would definitely come back!

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of June. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite and it was very nice and roomy. It was nice having separate bathrooms as well as an ice maker in the freezer. The bed was very comfy as well. The lobby and pool were very nice and clean. The only complaint we had was that housekeeping neglected us on our second day. We had left the room early and returned after dinner. The room wasnt messy but it never got tidied up or no fresh sheets. I had to call that evening for clean towels and more coffee for the next morning. There was no answer at the front desk so I left a message. I never received a call back or no apology at that time or when we checked out. 3 bath towels were brought for the 3 of us and some coffee but no hand towels or face cloths. It wasn’t a big deal nor did it ruin our stay but it was a little disappointing. Very very nice accommodations and I will stay there again in the future. Perhaps in the winter so I can enjoy the nice fireplace.

Stayed at Trickle Creek Lodge for a dance competition. The elevator was down all weekend. Girls had to haul up their large heavy dance bags as well as I had a box of food and a cooler of food and of course our luggage up the stairs. The ATM was not working. There were no restaurants open up near the ski and as girls are dancing all day parents had to go into town to buy groceries. The wifi was really slow...just like the old dial up days. The front desk personnel were very friendly at check in and check out.

This is going to be a review with mixed messages so here goes. Stayed at this place because of its proximity to the Kimberley convention centre. Was a nice easy walk. The lodge is attractive from the outside. The lobby was nice too. However. The purpose of our trip was a dance competition. We were made aware that the two on-site restaurants were closed so we packed enough food in a cooler to feed 3 meals a day for 3 people for 3 days. Add to that suitcases , dance equipment etc you can picture how much baggage we had. The elevator was out of order. We were on the 3rd floor. There was no assistance offered to us to at all despite the fact that there was a male there that could helped. That was the first strike. The room was nice. Dated for sure but appeared clean. We had a two bdrm with a kitchen which was adequately supplied. Three televisions. One of the bedroom tv’s did not work. The other bedroom tv got one channel. Bed was comfortable, nice selection of pillows. The light in the bathroom is ridiculous for how dim it was. Brighter lights are preferable to dim mood lights in my opinion. No housekeeping at all, which we were warned about. Asked for fresh towels our third morning and the hostility by the employee was palpable. I didn’t feel her response to me was warranted, made me feel like I was using too many towels. Again 3 people, one a dancer who showered each day. She was rude to put it mildly. We did get the towels. Left stacked on a table but the used ones were not taken away. The pool was filthy with algae. Only one of the hot tubs was working. We were told at checkin that the elevator was to be fixed the next day. It wasn’t. So packing all our stuff down again was a struggle . Not sure I would stay there again as there are two other hotels right there plus condos to rent. Had the same woman at checkout that I had requested the fresh towels from, she was just as unfriendly then as before.

I was attending a festival for adaptive snow sports, and was extremely pleased with my stay at Trickle Creek Lodge. I’m wheelchair bound and found the lodge easy to navigate, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. The best part is that the lodge is right at the bottom of the ski hill and main chair lift. I only had to roll outside a few meters and my sit ski was right there ready to go! The outdoor hot tub was a nice treat after skiing all morning. There were great options for meals/drinks and the outdoor apres ski area was great as well. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and will definitely be coming back for another ski trip!

This was my first ever ski trip to Western Canada for an international ski competition. During the 6 previous ski seasons, I had enjoyed the sister hotel at Stoneham Quebec and the Trickle Creek Lodge turned out to be just as comfortable. I found my room to be large, warm, clean, with a well equipped kitchenette, and with plenty of hot water at all times of the day. The lodge is slope-side. There is a town shuttle that runs often during peak hours to allow me to fetch groceries at the downtown supermarket. I found the cost-quality ratio to be reasonable. I look forward to returning next year for the same event.

At the footsteps of Kimberley Ski hill it does not get much more convenient and picturesque as the Trickle Creek Lodge. Underground parking and ski lockers make it very convenient. Hottub and pools overlooking the ski hill are incredible. Although the rooms are a bit dated, everything is functional and homey. Attentive staff (thanks Nicholas) seal the deal!

We rented several condos here over Christmas (27 to 30th)paying a shockingly high amount. We chose this location because of ease to the ski hill and full kitchens. The rooms were grungy, lots of dog hair even in the dishes, poor lighting, in one the dishwasher didn’t work, no bowls, minimal supply of dishes, a laughable coffee maker, and so on. With no ice maker for guest use, when I asked for some ice, I was told there was an ice maker in my freezer. I persisted saying I did not have an ice maker in my freezer, and then was instructed to get a bowl from my room and they would provide me with a bowl of ice. My ‘bowl’ was a colander, there were no bowls. My husband asked at the front desk for paper cups and was told that he would need to go to his room and make the request over the house phone. The house phone in our room didn’t work. So no cups! We will definitely find other accommodations next year. Perhaps at a different ski hill.

Great room, beautiful view and most of the lodge staff were very helpful and friendly. We were there for a week long family vacation and all were very comfortable. Even with covid restrictions still in place we still had a relaxing stay.

My son and I travelled to Kimberly for a golf getaway. I’ve only ever stayed at the private condos on the hill and having a dog sometimes it’s difficult to accommodate so I wanted to try the lodge. Very disappointed. My reservation was not booked correctly, thankfully they gave us a larger room no charge. But….. balcony facing the ski hill, not the best view in the summer plus the AC unit is so loud sitting out there was not pleasant! The kitchen is well stocked for a hotel but the appliances need updating. All the light fixtures give terrible lighting and some produce awful buzzing noises! The kitchen chairs are disgusting…. Photo attached! The pools water looked clean enough but owning my own hot tub, the pools should not have dark rings at the water level 🤮 The hotel’s elevator broke day 2, 3rd floor with a dog and bad knees not ideal. At least offer us something for the inconvenience!! The place was quiet, I now know why!! I won’t be back.
