This hotel has a classy "boutique feel", renovated/modern, great service and what an amazing FREE breakfast, one of the best ever. The staff are very warm and friendly. For lunch or dinner, try "Pizze" a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, amazing food, service and pricepoint.

Old hotel, out dated rooms, but friendly staff and the bed was comfortable. Did the job for what it needed !

The elevator will definitely scare you a bit when it starts and stops bur don’t worry.. everything is fine 😂

Staff was friendly! Continental breakfast with cold food was ok. I remember a couple years ago (ok maybe 6-8 years ago) they offered an extensive menu during the weekend for the breakfast and I definitely miss it.

The Hotel Albert has a lot going for it. Great location, very friendly and most helpful front desk staff, a really cool owner, nice CLEAN rooms, on-site parking and a good continental breakfast. Steps away from two very good restaurants. The steps into the lobby front either the front or back entrances can present some difficulty for those with mobility issues. There is an elevator however.

They cancelled my week long reservation when I arrived because my credit card had been destroyed two days ago and I didn’t have the new one.

I could pay cash or debit, I had ID with me and I was a long term client (spent over 15 000$ in that hotel within the last four years). I was 850km away from home to get a week long hospital treatment. They finally let me stay but only one night.

Never again. They also own the Deville Hotel, the Pizze restaurant and Polonais bar.

In reality, this is not quite a 3/5, more of a 2.5. Easy reservation online, easy check-in. Plenty of free parking, outside, on premise. The room is clean (not fancy). The beds are comfortable; pillows are okay. Little fridge and microwave are nice. Grooming products are lovely - I loved the dispensing cans in the shower (eco-friendly). The problem, the big problem, is with the heating unit. It creates quite a loud racket when on! Every 20 minutes, it comes on, and it constantly wakes you up from your sleep. I can’t sleep with ear-plugs, therefore, this was not a restful night.

We spend a few weekends per year in Rouyn Noranda for couple time and to let loose. French folks know how to have a good time and I have to say that the night life includes all age groups. We usually stay at another Hotel that wrote a review on some time back. The hotel of our choice was booked so we chose to try the Be4st Western plus.
Perks-cons
1. the hotel is in the middle of town, with walking distance to shops and great restaurants and bars.
2. The hotel is clean. Room was nine, well lit but the bed a little lumpy
3. A hot buffet breakfast ( good quality food) is included n your stay. But you must make a reservation... The place is packed!
4. The bathroom in our room was large and the room had a couple hairs with a television, so kind of like a living room. Room 201 is the room we stayed in.
5. Good night sleep in terms of sounds and traffic.
6. Parking is strange, its at the back of the building and we weren't sure this was were we should park in terms of signage.
7. Internet, computer and printer available at no cost in the lobby and internet in your room as well.
8. Staff was helpful at offering a input at were to eat based on what we were looking for. They booked our reservation for us and called us a taxi. wrote the address down so we know were we were going. The young girl at the desk was very helpful and polite. The place she recommended to eat was awesome by the way. ll review the cute little bistro in another review.

Excellent downtown location. Clean. Parking in the rear. Room well furnished. Friendly staff. Activities (nightlife) nearby. Main lobby was under renovation. Good value considering location. Would go again.

I stayed in the Best Western for two weeks. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very central and we were within a 2 or 3 minute walking distance to nice bars and restaurants. The rooms were a good size and the breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again without doubt.

This is s nice hotel on a Main Street. You can Walk to many restos and shops. Only reason it didn’t get a 4 rating is because parking is a PITA and the elevator is old, slow and noisy.
Recommended if you are in Rouyn Noranda.
