Lovely, a little out of the way campground, but so worth it. We were just looking for a reasonable campground after spending two days in Ucluelet, and battling the traffic coming from Tofino. Whiskey Creek Campground fit this perfectly. The site was not overly long, but wide, so our rig fit. The lovely woman who runs the campground works very hard at making sure everyone is comfortable. The bathrooms are immaculate, and so are the showers. There is free wifi, but just like every other campground we have stayed in, you must be close to the signal, or you will not get any service. Registration was super easy and fast, and she even told us to set up and then go back and pay. $42.00 a night is pretty standard.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review - I really appreciate it. We are working on getting a better WIFI signal, hopefully by this fall. Do stop again.

This 15 site campground is excellent: Large, level sites, privacy fences between each, very clean and modern showers, and a few kilometres back from the highway. Our hostess, Joy, is cheerful, very welcoming and helpful.
Stay here!

All campsites are spacious and clean. The full hook-ups work great. The washroom and shower rooms are immaculate. Tourist attractions are not too far from here by driving and there are several laundromats in town. The owner, Joy, is like a humble, friendly, cheerful, and helpful neighbour. Although we didn't see Joy often, she is always there whenever we need her. Campers are respectful, so we rested well at night throughout. The campfire ban was lifted during our stay, so we had the opportunity to enjoy roasted marshmallows. The playground is spacious and safe. It has swings, all sorts of toys, and toy cars for little ones to ride on. It's a relaxing but also very informative trip around this area. Can't wait to go back! Love it!

This last weekend we stayed at Whiskey Creek Campground in Qualicum Beach.. What a great experience! It's out of the way and nestled in nature, but still provided all the comforts with a full hook up for our trailer. The sites are very spacious and roomy with a very private feel. With only about 15 sites, it's very quiet and easy to move around. And the bathroom/shower house is to die for! It's just like being at home :) Joy has done a great job on this campsite and she herself is kind and friendly and quick to respond to any request. Definitely will be back!

My wife and I spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed our stay here. Its not a huge campground but that was fine for us. The small size shouldn't be a deterrent as our neighbour has a 35 ft plus RV parked. Joy the owner is pleasant and helpful. For our first RV trip we are pleased that we came here. The proximity to various attractions is a plus. Its a nice clean, reasonably priced place to setup. We will come back for sure. Well done Joy!

I just went to Whiskey Creek Campground with my three boys and husband. The place was quiet, it had very clean, flushing toilets as well as a shower. The ladies running the place were so kind and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I enjoyed being close to the Little Qualicum Falls, and Coombs. It was nice being at a campground where I didn’t have to worry about my kids being around hazards like cliffs, busy traffic or getting lost. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Joy was able to fit us in at very short notice due to our plans changing so we were very grateful for her help. Whiskey Creek is very peaceful and quiet with excellent clean shower facilities. The area is generally a bit too quiet for us so we decided to move on after one nights stay but not at all a reflection of the campground just our decision to do so.

Whiskey Creek is CLOSED! Do not drop in looking for a site to stay at. No website & their voicemail greeting does not indicate their closed status, I found the campsite with a google search & I was looking to explore the area. I ended up driving an extra hour in my motorhome to find a lovely spot in Qualicum, Don't risk dropping in like I did

Really nice campground. It was very quiet and Joy the host was great. The bathroom and shower facilities were extraordinarily clean for a campground. We went for a long walk on a private trail close to the camp. It was a delight to see two deer come through the site before we left this morning. It was very relaxing.

Small campground and RV Park just past Coombs on the way to Tofino. A couple of kms of the main highway but well signed. only 15 fully serviced sites and a couple of in-serviced tenting sites. Heavily treed and very quiet. Owner was very friendly and showers and bathrooms were spotless. No extra charge for the showers. Close to Little Qualicum Falls, The Cathedral Grove, and Goats on a Roof. about 40 minutes to the ferry in Nanaimo.
