Spent 4 days there last August, it was PARADISE! The whole place is meticulously clean - something I really love to find in a B&B, and every day while I was out my room would be completely cleaned again, and the breakfasts - Oh my GOD I felt like the QUEEN!! I'm telling you people - if you're looking for a glorious place to stay, for the most affordable rate on this whole island - this is your spot! The owners are the sweetest people I've ever met, can't wait to go back here again!

This B and B was a great find! We stayed just one night on our drive from St. John's to Gros Morne but instantly began to wonder how we might contrive to return. We were tired after a long flight and drive but thankfully finding Inn on Bennett from the high way was really easy. Tonya was very welcoming and an excellent host. The room was delightful with lots of thoughtful touches and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower. The bed was fabulously comfortable and it's a quiet spot so we slept really well. The next morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast of granola, fruit and yoghurt followed by a choice of cooked options - I strongly recommend the French toast with stewed apple and cinnamon. Their motto is "arrive as strangers and leave as friends" and it truly felt like it was the case. I would recommend this place without hesitation to anyone travelling on the island.

We stayed in Room #4 for one night in July. The room had one double bed and one single bed. Room #4 does not have an ensuite bathroom. However, we had a private full bathroom that was across the hallway. The B&B was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was really lovely, well-prepared and delicious.

On arrival to the Inn on Bennett we were met at the door by Dwayne who basically showed us to our room, advised us of no shoe policy (no problem), said that Tonya was not home and that was it....he disappeared. We got a chance to ask him one very quick question of where to eat in town and he did suggest Rosie's which was great. The only thing in the room to indicate where we were in the world was the Gander phone book. There were no local pictures on the wall, tourist information...nothing...it was just a generic hotel/motel room that could have been anywhere. The room was clean, a little on the small side for two people. The weather was warm and humid and there was a fan to use that was much appreciated. Breakfast the next day was lovely, and Tonya a lively host. She served a lovely fruit salad and strawbetty french toast (or was it waffles)...anyway, it was delicious! It was then that we found out there was lots of tourist information laid out in their front room. During breakfast Dwayne appeared to be just sitting in the family room watching TV...he did not appear to participate in any way in the breakfast. We like to stay at bed and breakfasts when away as they are generally more hospitable and 'warmer' than staying at a hotel/motel, and you get the local 'flavor' of the place...but not so here. I know that they have only had this bed and breakfast for less than a year. From our perspective they need to work on the hospitality side of the business and generally make guests feel more welcome.

What a pleasure! We stayed here one night when we arrived late into Gander Airport. I have yet to stay in a bed and breakfast that could even compare to the cleanliness of the B&B. Thank you very much for making our stay feel like home. My 6yr old son had a great visit.

Just spent one night at Inn on Bennett. What a comfortable, clean B & B. We had a very spacious room and delicious breakfast. The owners, Ross and Jean, were wonderful hosts. A real home away from home. Will certainly recommend it to others. Judy & Max, CBS, NL.

I was initially worried that there would be traffic noise from the highway but we had a very restful sleep in a cozy room with a big ensuite. The breakfast was served in huge portions so ask for half size if you are not a big eater. The water was the best I tasted in Newfoundland. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here in September on our way to Gros Morne. The hosts were very friendly and mentioned that there were icebergs in Twilingate so we detoured up there to see them (and say them again 9 days later when we stayed in Twilingate). The accommodations were clean, quiet and comfortable and we had the best breakfast of all of our breakfasts in Newfoundland here.

This B&B is located in a neighborhood just minutes away from the TCH. The innkeeper, Rhonda, is very welcoming and a delight to talk to! She also makes a delicious & filling breakfast to start off your day. Accommodations were clean and lots of room downstairs to play games, cards, etc.

we were a little leary about staying here as the ownership had changed hands a month or two before our stay and we couldn't find any recent reviews, however, it turned out to be one of the nicest B & B's we stayed in during our two weeks in NL. Lovely room, sitting room, hostess, and breakfast, and is very east to get to. We would definitely stay there again.
