Maybe try to avoid staying in Wawa altogether. I had no choice as all the other suspect hotels were full. The price is way too high for what you get. It's a cheaply and incompetently renovated hotel. The bathroom is so tiny you can hardly turn around. The toilet is so low you think you are sitting on a baby potty. The door has no secure lock. No amenities at all. No coffee in the morning. 2 stars for good wifi.

Stayed there for a week , it’s very dated paring isn’t the greatest. Behind the motel you can get to see a scrap yard of old junk cars and other stuff the owners are to cheap to clean up. Stay in your car or camp in a tent instead.

Hi, We had to go somewhere to sleep in Wawa. Although I called to reserve 2 weeks before my departure date, all hotels were full in Wawa except Highway 17. I understood why when I got there. Barely any services, dirty, strong smell of perfume to cover bad smells. I felt like I was in an hourly hotel for, you know... I slept over the blankets, I did not shower as everything looked disgusting and old. The carpet was treadbare and had not been vacuum in God knows when. When I arrived, I waited 10 minutes for someone to show up. I was second in line. When it got to my turn, the guy left as he thought I was with the previous party I had to call him back. No security... people sleeping in cars and vans outside, very shady. I do not recommend, ever.

This a very busy property, handling road travellers and road crews. Although things looked fairly new, the room felt unfinished, with poorly finished moldings and poor furnishings (besides the beds) in the room. The beds were comfortable and the television and wifi worked well. However, in a room for four people, there was only one chair, and that was broken. I asked for a replacement, none came. The front desk is not actually staffed, you have to ring a bell if you want someone to come out and speak to you - in the morning, no one will even come out and there is a sign asking you not to ring the bell. Not very service oriented. No hair dryer in the room, not enough towels for three adults, and the bathroom is very poorly planned (poor lighting, no place to put anything, awkward shower). We stayed because there were few choices of other accommodations in town, but we will not be back. Very disappointing for the price.”

Poor building security (back door stuck open), household style door locks without a deadbolt, no security cameras outdoors, bathroom door and bathroom floor were dirty but beds and towels were clean. Share an ice bucket with all guests. No COVID precautions. A tad expensive for what you get. Not close to food or amenities. Staff seemed nice but the apparent partner of the front desk clerk kept interrupting - he was more important than the customer i guess. Wifi was shared with another guest making privacy zero.
