My wife's family have an annual get together every year somewhere within driving distance of Ottawa. This year we chose the Auberge du Vieux Foyer because of a past weekend there. The brother in laws were responsible for organization this year (July 15/16/17) so i called the Group Manager , Kadja Blondel, with whom I had organized a similar weekend when... The room was very nice and quiet even next to the road. Food was delicious. But no trails to walk, swimming pool small, bicycles only for men or tall people. The evening entertainment was for very old seniors, music from the 40s. Only one bathroom next to the restaurant.

We needed a little 24 hour getaway with everything in one area, Room, great dining, and activities to relax, take in the fresh air and enjoy the fall view. This Auberge and its location delivered all that, and more! They have a nice outdoor setup with pool jacuzzi and sauna, full bar and food prepared to perfection. The staff is... More

Partook of a lovely family wedding on their private island-setting was just lovely & intimate & helped create some beautiful memories. Other family members who stayed in the resort's room were very happy with their accommodations. Our family stayed in one of the chalets which was not air conditioned and furnishings were shabby though kitchen area was up-to-date. Another downside-we... More

It's a cute little place with VERY friendly staff. The breakfast was good with delicious locally sourced ingredients and even home baked breads. The reason I am giving it a 3* instead of 4* is that my room (102) had glass balcony doors opening to the side of the property where a very bright light up in a pole was... More

I was really surprised at the quality of this getaway. The staff were absolutely amazing, so helpful and kind and devoted, that was really appreciated. The room was clean and spacious and we had a pretty view of the forest. The food was nice as well, at breakfast they make their own jams/spreads/bread, which helps make it one of the... More

Had a wonderful stay at the Auberge in the chalet Hardy. Beautiful surroundings with huge pine trees. Excellent food served with a smile by Johanne. There is a wonderful pool and a hot tub. Also a spa to please everyone.

Had an excellent Sunday brunch with family at one of our favorite spots in Val-David. The food is excellent, with plenty of choices and the service very prompt and friendly. A nice little stroll around the property after eating topped our morning off. We will return!
