Our 10-acre hobby farm features panoramic ocean views overlooking Juan de Fuca, just 10 minutes drive from Sooke. 32inch flat-screen TV and private entrance and washroom for all 3 units. Each includes a private terrace, coffee makers. The kitchenette offers a full kitchen with 2 plate burner stove and the Muir Cabin offers a full kitchen and L shaped for the bedroom. Guests at Gordon’s Beach are within walking distance to beaches, hiking and mountain biking trails. Whale watching is possible from the property and each unit offers binoculars. Galloping Goose Trail and Juan de Fuca Marine Trail are within 15 minutes’ drive. Victoria is 1 hours’ drive away. Firepit patio, and 10 acres to explore. Excellent location close to Sooke's finest beaches yet nestled high enough for expansive views. Being a hobby farm, one experiences the fun of having livestock, chickens, eagles deer and cotton tails roaming the grounds! Absolutely fantastic for children. Hosts are wonderful and go above and beyond with a "goat walk" and information for the little one's on the animals as well as petting and feeding! The self-contained cabin where we stayed was lovely, clean and very comfortable with many amenities to make a family stay fun and comfortable. Thank you Diane and Mike!

The Muir Cabin is clean, comfortable, and very cute. We really appreciated the basic pantry (including coffee, fresh eggs, oil, and salt/pepper) that so many places don’t provide these days. There was plenty of space for our belongings and to let our toddler play. Mike and Diane are very friendly hosts and we so appreciated that they went the extra mile to give our son a special farm experience (including feeding/petting the animals and a tractor ride). Great price, too!

We came to Gordon’s Beach Farmstay as a family of 3. Our little one have lots of energy and which is why my wife picked a place where he can run around. After we got here, there were goats, chickens, cats and a dog, very fun to interact with and an amazing view! You can sometimes see wild rabbits too. The place exceeded our expectations with animals, ocean view, clean and nice hosts. Everything we could have asked for. Personally I most enjoyed the firepit, on the hill, looking at the ocean made it icing on the cake!

Absolutely perfect for our family getaway. The kids loved the animals, our youngest loved that the chickens followed us around everywhere, and the goats were so affectionate we all had fun visiting them. A highlight for all of us was the goat walk! The cabin was cozy and clean. Mike and Diane were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We are looking forward to our next visit!

The daily interactions with the goats during daily walk and other animals was a riot. Seeing a bear at the bottom of the property was pretty cool but the most amazing thing was the hospitality of the hosts. I found myself in a situation without a ride into Victoria due to my travelling partner's emergency. Sooke does not have transit on the weekend. Gracious Coincidently, Diane was going into Victoria on the day I was leaving and offered me a ride. That is amazing kindness. Thanks so much.

My wife and I had the best weekend staying here! It's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The property is beautiful, well- kept, and has an incredible ocean view. We stayed in the cabin and loved it. Super clean, cozy and we really enjoyed the West Coast decor. The kitchenette was the perfect size and made it easy to eat in. Plus farm fresh eggs on the counter when we arrived! They were so delicious we had to bring a couple dozen home. The shower was big and luxurious, one of the best parts of the cabin, and the bed was so comfortable! Animal lovers and kids would absolutely love it here. The most friendly goats are right across from the cabin. You can watch them while enjoying your breakfast and then go out to say hi. Free- range chickens everywhere! We got a real kick out of the chickens coming right up to the cabin door. Mike and Diane were incredibly hospitable and kind. Goat walks and feeding the chickens in the evening were a real highlight of the trip. There were also sheep, including lambs, and the sweetest dog, Nelly. You can tell how well the animals are taken care of. We really appreciated the extra touches like the fire that Mike set up for us and Diane's homemade lavender soaps in the cabin. Location was great, close to provincial parks and took less than 10 min. to walk to the beach. This place is a wonderful spot for couples, families, or someone just looking for some peace and quiet. We will definitely be back! :)…

We had such a great stay the Gordons Beach Farmstay. The views, the animals and the hosts made it beyond perfect. The baby sheep were adorable, the goats are so friendly and the chickens roaming around made it magical. Thank you Mike who interacted with our kids so kindly and made them feel so comfortable and part of the farm. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It was a perfect escape. We cant wait to go back!!!

We love this BnB & the hosts Diane & Mike , our suite was cozy , relaxing and has spectacular views of the Ocean ! ❤️ It was very clean , light & bright . We enjoyed all the animals and the lambs & particular as well as the nightly goat walk ( with a cocktail ) ! The setting is quiet , picturesque and the perfect location for day trips on Vancouver Island ! We will be back again !

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Gordon's Beach Farmstay. The Muir Cabin has everything you need for a wonderful getaway. We cooked all our meals in the cabin and enjoyed dining while watching the animals and the ocean view. Diane and Mike were a pleasure. We enjoyed the 5pm ritual with Mike, of putting the free-range chickens back in their run, taking the goats for a walk and then giving them and the lambs their treats. Mike was happy to answer every question and make sure we had the best experience. When my wife said she had never held a chicken, Mike put one in her arms and showed her the proper way. We also had fun exploring the surrounding area and the Farmstay was the best location for that. Mike and Diane were quick to make suggestions and we explored the Sooke Potholes Regional Park and several of the local beaches. We look forward to a return trip sometime in the future.…
