These are condo type accomodations with full compliment of appliances including washer and dryer. Outdoor hot tub, movie rentals and very friendly staff. Beautiful views of the Sooke harbour with walking trails close by. Quiet and peaceful no matter what the weather. Drive to downtown Victoria is 50 minutes not using Trans Canada highway, which can be terrible at certain...

We had been warned that we would be disappointed, and unfortunately our friends were correct. There are many positive things to say about Sooke Harbour House, but it is no longer the very special place it once was--no longer a real touch of class. When we were last there, many years ago, everything was perfectly wonderful, from the garden to...

I booked a room for just one night, as a surprise to celebrate my Husband's 60th birthday. I then contacted the hotel to make a dinner reservation, advise them that my Husband is a celiac, and also to tell them that he'd be celebrating a milestone birthday while we were there. From the minute I made that reservation, every contact...

We had a great time here celebrating our anniversary. The accommodations, meals, and service were all enjoyable. We especially enjoyed sitting in The Copper Room a couple of evenings, having drinks by the crackling fireplace. Lots of beaches and trails in the area for exploring.

This is a long established family run resort with great views over the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Warm and caring staff Lovely big rooms with log fires. Excellent bar with really good food in the evenings again with big log fire. Breakfast served in the main dining room where the service could be faster. All round lovely facility

We have eaten at the Harbour House restaurant a number of times. For us, it is one of our choices for a special night out. The food is always excellent. Being a vegetarian we normally cannot eat what the standard 3 course menu offers, but the chef always whips up an amazing alternative with whatever he has in the kitchen....

We were given a gift certificate to try the Sooke harbour house. We were looking forward to this meal and do not regularly spend large amounts on quality restaurants. It was a generous $200 gift,it still cost us another $80. If this wasn't a gift, I would have expected something more wow,how wonderful. Not to say it wasnt lovely just...

We spent a night at this hotel in Sooke, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a hot tub and beautiful view. The room could perhaps do with updating a bit, but I felt it was in keeping with the homely warmth of the place. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, striking the...

Sooke Harbour House was a great two night stay for us! We explored the area, such as Avatar Grove Old Growth Trees. So relaxing and quiet returning to our room. Spacious rooms and every room welcomes pets! It's a great old home with a good wine list and good food, and great views!

We booked two nights at the Sooke Harbour House over Christmas and Boxing Day. Although the room was large with great views, and fireplace, it was very tired. We stayed at the hotel 20 years ago, and found it inviting and cosy. Although we had a different room, it seemed as if nothing with the room decor and fixtures had...

Our unique 28 rooms feature a selection of fine amenities including spa tubs and steam showers.
