This is a really lovely resort. It’s very clean and the Rec Center is wonderful. Lots of things for families to do right at the resort. We were pleased with the house. Very roomy and clean. We did have an issue with the cable tv. It was out of service for just our unit for our entire stay. Sadly excuses were made rather than dealing with the issue. TV certainly isn’t a primary concern unless you have someone in your party who needed to be indoors during the heat, and TV was listed as an amenity.
This was our second stay at the resort and the first using RCI. The resort is a combination of holiday trailers and houses. There are about 8 houses available through RCI. The houses are all three bedrooms and very spacious. We were in house 60 beside the pool and recreation centre which was convent as my elderly in-laws did not have far to walk. The houses are nicely appointed with AC and laundry facilities. Live music is played outside the recreation centre in the summer on Saturday nights. The resort is very family oriented with kids and families walking throughout. One negative is that the wifi is weak and spotty at best. Also, there is three decks and they could use a better job of cleaning and painting of the rails. The drier lint was also not removed for some time. The resort is about 1.5 miles north of town and three miles from the hot springs. The area is ideal area for hiking, biking golfing and relaxing.…
Close to everything and many things to do inside the resort or outside Radium. We had fun walking around and driving downtown. Excellent location for sightseeing and relaxing. Clean facilities and great staff, we were lucky to be the first one to check in before Christmas eve! Thank you.
We had a timeshare here but only for 3 nights although we wanted a whole week. We were charged $100. extra for "short stay cleaning." Otherwise the resort is well maintained and clean. Our unit #62 was dated and tired furniture. The pool on site and hot tub is clean and perfect temperatures.
Clean , comfortable , spacious house in an excellent resort , in a great vacation area. Large , heated outdoor pool, with an indoor pool if needed. Enjoyed the entertainment on Canada Day, and regular Saturday music.
Staying in the bungalows at Ridgeview is a treat. The weather was hot hot hot during our stay and the unit had AC which worked well. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating supplies. Great to have a washer and dryer. The bedrooms are a good size. The resort is well maintained and there are a number of activities on site to keep you busy.
Clean rooms, playground and pools, both outdoor and indoor, right outside the back door, walking trails a 5 min walk away, 5minute drive from the town of Radium which has delicious food, ice cream and even a candy store. It is only a 10 minute drive from the hotsprings! Also a 20 min drive from Invermere and the lake! And 30 min drive to Fairmont hotsprings and ski mountain, as well as Panorama Ski resort!
We came during the off season and during Covid so many things were closed. The staff made sure we were comfortable and were absolutely wonderful to deal with. It is a great location, we came to hike and kayak. We will be back!
Vacation Rentals were big and had everything you needed. We stayed in 61 Unit overlooking the swimming pool ( we could not use because the pump was broken). But I used the indoor pool which was nice. Hot tub/ games rooms could not be used because of virus. It was very quiet where we lived and nice walks around the resort. Did see some turkeys wandering around. Our house had 3 bedrooms, 2 queen and 2 twins. Kitchen had everything except a blender which we brought with us. The couch was a little too soft because you sink into too much. Beds were good for sleeping. The internet was a bit slow, so you cannot use streaming with it, but if you pay for premium internet you can , which is about $15 a day for $72 for a the week. But we watched a lot of old shows instead , so we did not need netflix, etc. There is a DVD player but you need to bring your own DVDs. The resort is about 5 minutes away from Radium. …
Good facility, great surroundings, luckily the hot springs reopened the weekend of our visit. Unfortunately, covid had previously caused the cancellation of the Radium Valley Classics car show that was scheduled for that time. We had booked the facility a year previous, decided to go anyhow, and were very glad we did, The mountains in early fall are beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing.
