A private little valley right in the Village of Radium Hot Springs, with a clear blue stream running through it. Creekside camping with big old trees, huge lawns and lots of flowers! Fully serviced RV Sites, with Cable TV and Wireless Internet. Fully serviced bathrooms and laundry room. Attractively maintained and attractively priced. No tenting. Reservations recommended.

A beautiful campground and I enjoyed my 5 night stay. The sites are well spaced and clean. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate. If you love the sound of a flowing stream then the sites backing the stream are for you. And if not there are equally nice sites a bit further away. I have stayed at a lot of campgrounds and this one is in the top three. I really liked the reservation process and being able to reserve a specific spot (but really all the sites are great). I will be a regular visitor, it is so nice to see a campground so well looked after and pride taken to make it a special for all of us who visit.

Dear HMB, We really appreciate this glowing review. It's especially rewarding to hear people speak of our pride of ownership. It really is a special property, and we just try to do justice to its natural features. I'm glad to hear that we can count you among our regular visitors. Greg

One of the best places to stay in this area. The sites are more than generous with ample room for your trailer and truck, large grass space to spread out, level patio and a fire pit that is cleaned every morning. Our back-in site was along the south east wall. It was very easy to get into. Leaving the park however you do encounter some narrow roads and a bridge but if you go slow you should have no trouble at all. The entrance to the park also has a long, steep(ish) hill but really nothing to worry about. All the hookup services were in good working order. They even had 2 sewer ports available making parking and setup easier. There is cable service available with limited channels so we hooked up the satellite with no problem at all. The site was level and spacious. Highly recommended.

Dear '104', I am terribly late in replying to this excellent review and thoughtful series of comments. I'm very pleased that you appreciated all of the things we try to focus on. And should you find yourself in one of our Superior sites again, you might want to try using the big loop in the 200 section of the park as a place to turn around on your departure. Then you can drive out past the Superior sites and avoid the bridge and the corner by #83.

Dear Mountaineer, You remind me a lot of 104wilburh! :) Further to my response to that review, I'm glad to hear that you found the double sewer outlet feature useful. It's a big challenge to try to anticipate all of the changes that occur in the RV industry. We can no longer depend on the sewer outlet being at the back of the rig, so we have been careful in all of our new Premium and Superior sites to build in another sewer receptacle further forward to make it easier for those folks with a sewer outlet ahead of the axles. Thanks again for the great rating and kind comments. We hope to host you again. Greg

Dear Gerri, Thank you very much for both the excellent rating and encouraging comments. As you might have seen during your recent trip, we did convert some more of our older sites into bigger Premiums to try to deal with the demand for them. The dilemma is that we end up with fewer sites overall. They are particularly hard to get during the peak of the summer. If you aren't restricted by the need to take advantage of school vacations, give some thought to coming early in the season when we aren't full every night. We'd like to see you back! Greg

By far and away the prettiest site we have visited so far. Nestled down away from the road in a beautiful setting just a 15 minute (uphill) stroll to the village. The facilities are clean and well maintained, the plots are spacious and level. A perfect place to relax for a few days

This RV Resort is a wonderful place to spend some time. Full amenities, and a pleasant compliment of great staff to satisfy your every need. A clean and well maintained resort, minutes from all the local restaurants and shops in Radium. This is the second time we have stayed here, and have not been disappointed. As a further note, one of the grounds keeping staff accidentally hit our camp mat with a weed whipper, cutting a hole in the plastic weaving. When we brought this up to Meaghan in the front office, there wasn't a moments hesitation for the offer to replace the damaged mat. When we returned home and purchased a replacement, the funds were e-transferred to us within a couple hours of forwarding a copy of the purchase receipt to Meaghan. Excellent service, a great professional and friendly staff, beautifully maintained grounds and facilities.... how can you not give 5 out of 5 stars to this RV Resort.

Wow - just wow! This RV Park is absolutely gorgeous. The campsites come in three levels of ranking, and based on our walk around there really are no bad sites. Not all sites are equal, hence the different rating. Some are along a lovely creek, and some are not. Nothing wrong with having different choices, as a smaller travel trailer doesn’t need the same access or space as a big fifth wheel or class A bus. We have a 35 fifth wheel and had a premium site along the south boundary and I would book this type again. The park and amenities are very well kept and all desk and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. We came for 5 nights, and will very likely make it 15+ next year. Kudos to the ownership and staff - well done!

Picture perfect place. Beautiful campgrounds with lush grass and a creek running along many of the sites. Nice modern washroom and showers. Although for some reason on the labour day weekend there was no hot water. Out of propane maybe ? Week Wi-Fi if that’s important to you. Close to all attractions and town. Friendly staff.

Dear free-traveler99, Thanks for the excellent rating and for the detailed and flattering comments. To your point about the hot water, the boiler in that building failed during the Labour Day weekend. We had a new one on hand, ready to install, but we struggled to get gas-fitters and plumbers to help us. Availability of contractors during Covid is a real issue. It is back up and running now. To your other point, wifi is a constant challenge. We pay for 9 Gb of bandwidth, spread across nine 1Gb transmitters. Still the varied terrain and mature trees throughout the park make for uneven coverage. At best, outdoor shared public wifi is not intended to provide for streaming video and audio, so we need to manage that expectation. Big metal RVs between your site and the transmitter don't make things easy either. If wifi is a big issue for you, please make that clear at the time of booking, and we will try to favour proximity to a transmitter over other preferences. Most importantly, I'm glad that you found our staff friendly. We try! Greg

We spent 5 nights at Canyon Campground at Radium. What a great place to stay, it was very relaxing. Great full service sites, very clean, lots of green grass and space between sites. Close to other amenities, restaurants and downtown.
