Touring BC on our motorcycles, winging our trip thru the mountain towns and reserved our room at The Gateway last minute. Located right in the Heart of Radium. Our room outfitted with 2 beds, refrigerator, microwave, thick soft absorbent towels and Rocky Mountain bath products. A sauna is located in the back of The Gateway perfect for warming up after a chilly Moto Ride. The Proprietor is a sweetheart! Delicious breakfast located close by at a cafe filled our stomachs before our departure. Highly recommend staying here!

This was a nicely renovated motel with comfortable beds, access from front shared balcony and close walking proximity to commercial district and hot spring pool. Unfortunately, we arrived with 800 vintage souped up cars for show and shine. The canyon amplified the backfire from those delightful looking vehicles.

An awesome stay at the Gateway for another year of hard work lounging in the hot springs. I especially appreciated the quietest ceiling fans circulating air at night that I have ever (not) heard. As usual, I loved the lemongrass Rocky Mountain bath products and the tub big enough to swim in. Joe and Erin have really upped their breakfast (my favourite meal) game by purchasing the Screamers ice cream shop to serve a variety of yummy treats and bottomless cups of coffee. A special thank you to Joe for the slice of birthday cheesecake after you had closed. It made me almost forget how high this year’s number is.

The ladies that run this place were phenomenal! I got rained out camping in Banff and was freezing. I had to leave 2 days early and they accommodated me moving my reservation up even with 2 dogs and they gave me a bigger room and did not charge me more. I was so grateful to have a nice hot shower and slept forever on the comfy bed. I loved the special touches of the great smelling soaps and cute flowers on the railing outside the rooms. Such an amazing place and I will definitely stay here again.

Charming motel in Radium. Rooms were very comfortable - loved how the beds were set up with one in an alcove. Lots of nice little details, such as lovely shower soap/conditioner. Breakfast was a bit limited - only three things to choose from a cafe down the road - but it was fine. Motel was full of flowers, nice deck furniture and a very helpful staff. We would stay again.

Really cute building, patio is so nice and the view to the mountains from it is stunning. The sauna was fun. The breakfast is really yummy and the café where it is served is cute. The only thing to know is the sound of big trucks passing by at night, quite disturbing. If you are a light sleeper, consider some earplugs or close the window and don't use air-conditioning (the pipe is connected to the window and keeping it open)

Another amazing stay! The rooms are always so so clean. It’s impressive how well kept the property and rooms are. Highly highly recommend staying here. We have never had a single complaint about our stays. It’s our favorite place to stay a night half way when we head back to BC. We were sad when no rooms were available on our way over and we had to stay elsewhere but we lucked out on our way back! Which happened to be our 3 month anniversary of being married, we got engaged at the Gateway in 2022. It’s become our little spot.
