Silver Tip Lodge Heli-Skiing is the most remote, rustic and exclusive Heli-Ski experience available today, located in the majestic Cariboo Mountains in British Columbia. The only program for Heli-Ski guests is the one they create; you can ski when you want, for as long as you'd like, guided by ACMG guides who ensure your safety in the mountains. Snowshoe through old growth cedar using marked trails on the property, or set our on freshly set cross-country ski tracks straight from the lodge. All equipment is provided. After a long day of skiing enjoy decadent dining catered to your taste, take a soak in the hot tub overlooking the lake, relax in the sauna and steam room, or visit the massage therapist on site. Join us June-October for Quesnel Lake's world class Rainbow trout fishing. Fully stocked boat house, fishing boats, and canoes available. The Blue Lead Creek and Summit Creek nearby provide the perfect escape for fly fishing. Hikers enjoy back-country hiking from the lodge or using Silver Tip Lodge as a base location to heli-hike to the many nearby glacier lakes with extraordinary alpine views.
If you want to go heli skiing at the best spot on the planet then come here. The mountains are amazing right off the lodge and the lodge is situated on an amazing lake in the middle of the Canadian wilderness. The program runs with only 12 skiing guests and one large heli so two groups can ski till they can't ski no more. I have over 100 days at many different operations and this is one is simply the bests, I can't wait to go back for the excellent guiding, amazing food, comfortable lodge, wonderful staff and skiing that is as good as it gets. There are steep open glades, shoots, ribs, spines, open bowels and every feature that any skier can enjoy (just look on google earth). I am a very strong skier and the guides had fun getting me into what I love best. There was no expense paid to get us into skiing and chopper time spent looking for the best skiing was never a concern and that really what makes this place amazing. They have very few down days, we skied in a snow storm with no problem as they have high, low and mid mountain pick ups everywhere through out. I can't wait to go back!…

Bold statement but consider what SilverTip offers: Truly unlimited vertical. Vast amount of terrain means fresh power on every run. Lodge is remote so no snowmobiles come here to take powder from skiers. Short and easy flight on a private charter plane from Vancouver. Wonderful view as the lodge is situated on beautiful Quesnel Lake. Highly recommend!!

So I my trip to Europe with some mates fell through and was apprehensive about booking onto a trip solo. I booked on and the other people in the lodge were awesome! The lodge itself was great, mornings consisted of yoga followed by heaps of breakkie, then gearing up for the big day. Evenings were chilled, the food was top notch each night. Relaxing in the hot tub, beer in had with a view of the lake is hard to beat after a day on the hill. My room was awesome up in the 'penthouse' (self titled), very comfortable and warm. Skiing wise, it hadn't snowed in a couple of weeks, however fresh lines were a plenty. Our guides were super friendly and very good with the group's laissez faire attitude to following instructions - apologies! But we were treated to near enough as much up and down as you can handle. I think my legs were grateful to the end of the day each day, even if my ego wouldn't let that slip. All in all, incredible trip, thanks very much guys, I hope to come back one day.…

This was my first time Heliskiing. It was even better then I imagined it could be. Our pilot was such an expert there were many times I did not even know we had landed he was so smooth. The terrain was beyond belief amazing! We had incredible snow and warm conditions so it was such a treat to sit at the top of a mountain in the sun and eat lunch. You will be sufficiently exhausted with more skiing available then you can cram into each day, and then you can return to a beautiful outdoor (but covered) hot tub so soak your tired legs and massage if you choose to. The food is top notch and they are willing to work with special requests. You won't be disappointed.

Silvertip lodge was an amazing experience; unique, world class and unforgettable. The skiing was unbeatable, the food and accommodations stellar, and the location unbeatable. Although this was a bucket list experience, I could see filling my bucket with it again in the future, and wholeheartedly recommend it! Dr. Laura Hambley Lovett

This remote lodge offers so much terrain- some of it has never been skied! We skied terrain for the first time and some glaciers that had not been skied in years as avalanche conditions were extremely low. Despite no snow in weeks, we always had fresh track, thousands of vertical every day. . No limit on the amount other than your legs! We just kept going and going! Guide's have an uncanny sense of how to find the way through the trees to the best snow and to the landing. Incredible appy's when back, dinners like at a five star restaurant, hearty breakfasts and superb lunches every day with hot soup, delicious sandwiches and tasty treats. Snacks always available in the helicopter and in the lodge. Rooms luxurious, lots of hot water, yoga every morning and a spa to relax in theft tub/sauna or steam room every day after skiing. If not enough, can snow shoe or cross country ski. Skis provided and wall to wall boot and accessory warmer- no stiff boots in am. Does life get any better?…

My wife and I were guest for 7 days. We felt as at home. And the chef prepared a super meal everyday. The gids did a top job to give as as many powderruns a day as they could. The helicopter had to work hard to fly us around this very remote but fantastic mountain area. For snowboarding and us being a couple couldn't it have gotten any better. We loved using the hot tub after a great massage to get our soure legs to rest.

Silvertip Lodge is a remote backcountry lodge that defies the odds by providing all of the modern creature comforts of a first-class resort, deep in the Canadian wild. Here, you're able to reconnect with self in a way not offered by lodges accessible by road. During my visit, the lakefront immediately in front of the lodge was frequented by Grizzlies coming to feed on spawning salmon. Spinner fishing right from the dock proved entertaining and fly fishing was excellent only a five minute walk from the lodge. Boats are available for trolling or cruising the lake. The resident favourite 20 km hike to Hobson Lake was beautiful. I only realized how remote it was upon returning home and realizing I was 100km away from the nearest road. Silvertip Lodge is so remote it's not even on a flight path. I didn't see or hear a single airplane. Silvertip's beauty is only matched by the level of service offered by the staff, who are dedicated to making your visit as comfortable as a stay at any first-class hotel. The lodge is well appointed and comfortable - you can tell someone has thought deeply about your visit. The food was exceptional. I'm a vegetarian and they treated me to great meals every day. Getting to Silvertip the greatest challenge, but totally worth the sacrifice to connect with nature and leave feeling refreshed. I would highly recommend a trip to Silvertip and timing it with the salmon run isn't a bad idea either.…

We spent 4 nights here and found heaven: Powder snowboard heaven, luxury and food heaven, far away from everything heaven. About the heli ski/snowboarding: The operation is run really professionally. Safety is taken very seriously, but everything is kept fun. Great pilot and guides. Nothing feels rushed. You can get many descents per day, varying from steep tree runs through burned forests (each run is called black jacket haha) to super long glacier powder motorways, naturally depending on what the weather and visibility allows you and the pilot to do. They do their absolute best to get as many runs and flights as possible. About the lodge; Fantastic! Warm atmosphere, spacious, relaxing. The staff are very friendly, open and interested in you. You quickly get to know them and get a great feel of how unique Silvertip Lodge is. The rooms are great with nice ensuite bathrooms. It’s amazing how Silvertip, completely off the grid and far away from anywhere, has managed to provide stable and abundant power, warm water and heat! The hot tub in the spa cabin is great, with a nice view over the lake. And then there is the food. 3 words say it all: To die for! All in all: Wow! What an amazing experience!…

The staff at Silvertip are wonderful. They were very hospitable and went the extra mile to provide comfort and safety. Fishing was excellent. Hiking to Hobson Lake was a great experience and so was the Niagara Falls hike. Your Silvertip experience will be golden - an excellent destination for your summer/fall vacation. Reg
