Was here for 20 nights working in the area. Location was great as I had access in all directions. At first, I thought the hotel was dated and was not too pleased my employer booked me here. My impression changed upon booking in. ANDREW checked me in late at night, all was good. Room had king size bed and I had a kitchenette suite on the first level, I could park my car right in front of the door. Felt very safe and secure being right next to the office. The internet, which I needed for my work was great, everything in the room was clean and worked. Towels were newer and plentiful. Hot water was never ending and shower was great! The owners, Trish and Paul were always around and were friendly and went out of their way to deliver messages and some mail that I received right to my room! When I enquired about any laundry service, Paul said to bring in the bag and his housekeeping would take care of it. They did and same day service...no charge. If you want a quiet, good place to lay your head, choose the Westgate Inn, great value for your money, good service and friendly staff/management who care.

We stayed here for an evening on our drive from Alberta to Ontario. It is a two story motel on the edge of town. Nothing fancy, but does the trick. The rooms were clean and the cinderblock walls really kept it quiet from the other rooms so I definitely appreciated that. Bed was comfortable. The office was accommodating, being open til 11 pm but available for late check-in if necessary. In the morning there was a variety of on-the-go breakfast options and coffee. Friendly staff during check in and check out. My only suggestions are to perhaps bring an eye mask at night (the light outside the door is very bright and made the room quite bright) and ensure you bring your toiletries as I believe only soap (maybe shampoo?) was provided. Also, I hate to complain but I encourage maintenance to empty the dead bugs out of the light fixtures outside the doors. They were pretty full and a little yucky. But no other complaints!

Stayed here twice traveling to Saskatchewan from southern Ontario then back home again six weeks later. Fantastic dog friendly motel, even has a a large grass area out back for walking the dogs. Convenient location just off the Trans Canada on the edge of town. Parking out back for my dually pick up and large cargo trailer was well lit and more than ample ( easy in and out). Rooms were large , tidy, well kept, had no odors and comfortable. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean . Rooms were also very quiet and beds very comfortable . Owners Paul and Tricia are very friendly people and great to talk to .Would highly recommend The Westgate !

A large, very clean & affordable motel room with a mini fridge, microwave, wifi and a large flat screen tv & satellite for those who need a tv. Beds are so comfortable. Best sleep I had on this cross country road trip. Best continental breakfast to start off your day. It included toast, muffins, bagels, cereal, etc. The owner, Paul was so hospitable. He’s a true East Coaster, Thanks for everything!

Check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was as described. I found the bed comfortable. The large television worked as did everything else. The surge strip, so I could plug in all my devices, was exceptional attention to detail. (One small thing, the sink had several chips in it.) I liked the decor and appreciated the recycling bin. I wish all my stays were as perfect as this one.

We’ve stayed here a few times now, and each time we’ve been pleased with the very clean rooms & lobby, the comfortable beds, and the excellent customer service. I’ve traveled a lot in Canada & the US and this is easily one of the cleanest motels I’ve stayed at. It’s not the newest place, but it’s well cared for and extra measures are taken to ensure the health & wellbeing of their guests. We’ll be back.

Locations is great, a direct drive heading out of town.Good Greek restaurant nearby. There has been some updating in this mid century modern Inn.Immaculately clean ! I felt very safe staying here with all the Covid precautions in place, showing great respect for customers. Unlimited hot water and did I mention luxurious silky soap,even my husband commented on this soap! I would definitely stay again.

We had a very pleasant night at the Westgate Inn. Our host/owner, Paul couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. This is an older style motel on the outskirts of town, but well worth the visit. We have been trying to support local businesses as we cross Canada on our road trip and it’s places like this that make us happy to do so. Our room was spotless, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Even though we were on the bottom front, facing the road, it was very quiet. If you’re in the area, it’s a great spot to spend the night.
