Second time staying at this hotel after a first disastrous stay. They gave me a discount on this room as a result, I upgraded to water view to see the beautiful view. Window was too dirty to have any sort of view. Lobby was so loud we were unable to hear and understand the receptionist. Our room was directly across from the elevator so we barely slept as a result of the constant noise of suitcases and voices all night. Inside the room was incredibly basic, no tissue, tv instructions/guide, shower products had not been refilled so only one of us was able to shower. Only small bar of square hand soap. Bed was comfy enough. In the morning breakfast was only available until 9, and no options for take out such as spoons or forks. We used a drink cup to get eggs and potatoes real quick before they closed up. I thought the location was great and free parking (albeit in a sketchy parking lot down the street). Unfortunately this is the second time I've tried to like it and my expectations are super low. If price is the most important over comfort and noise - it's fine. …

Helpful staff and could walk to many Ottawa museums canal tours and parliament hill . Perfect location to find restaurants that again we could walk to. Rooms clean large and the breakfast was hot and good variety.

While the room was clean and there were some staff who understood what it takes to work in the hospitality field, the overall impression with which we were left is that we were undesirables, and they were doing us a favour by allowing us to stay in their building. Nice place, however parking is limited and since we spent only one night it is difficult to assess the surroundings. At the time of our stay there was a lot of construction which caused delays for us.

Just spent two nights at this hotel. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to Ottawa and all attractions. Rooms are dated, not very clean. Very few amenities in room. We had a terrible experience. On our first day after coming back after a long day of site seeing we wanted to shower and rest up before going to dinner. Our room had not been cleaned and towels were not changed. I called down to reception and was rudely advised that the hotel only cleaned rooms every three days and that was hotel policy. WHAT? No where does it say this and what kind of a policy is that. Of course no support from management and we were dismissed. DO NOT STAY HERE!! BREAKFAST was dirty, poorly maintained and over crowded. Would never stat there again.

On the upside, this hotel offers an ideal location for anyone interested in visiting the Greater-Ottawa and Gatineau area. All hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. We were able to leave the bikes in a secure inside location between rides. We were able to charge our electric car using one of the 110V outlets in the indoor parking - looking forward to more efficient level 2 stations. Breakfast is included and quite acceptable. The overall price/quality ratio was excellent. On the improvement side: the hot water took about 3 minutes to reach our shower on the top floor. The elevators are not exactly catapults - patience is of the essence! the bathroom was extremely small, 35 sq.ft. and with the open open door takes half the free space - there was ample free space in our room to accommodate an expansion during the next renovation round.…

It was a great stay. The hotel went above and beyond for my daughters 18th bday. It was close to everything that we wanted to do. Beds were comfy, the room was great with a great view from our balcony. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was a 1 star cheap motel at best. Filthy place super dated and run down Elevator dirty Stairwell even worse Carper stained Room corners and behind desk dirty Had 9 rooms booked for 25 days for me and my employees after the first hour we checked out and moved hotels.

Hotel is easy to reach from Ontario or Quebec. Rooms are clean and well supplied with pleasantly scented toiletries. Pool is clean and, while indoor, is enclosed in a glass walled room for lots of natural light. The breakfast is delicious with hot and cold items, cereals, muffins,fruits, tea and coffee-it will set you up for a day of sightseeing or travel.
