We had an amazing time at the Ramada we were doing a trip to the casino for my daughters birthday. We got to Gatineau early and were checked in no problem fast and efficient. The room was beautiful and clean with a fireplace, huge jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, mini fridge and a safe that wasn’t left open for use. Bed were very comfy, We used the spa for my daughter to get a massage and she loved it $75 for a 45 minute massage was very reasonable and the staff were so nice and friendly. The pool area is very nice and inviting actually the best pool area of any hotel I have been in separate fitness area and sauna in the locker rooms I was very impressed. The hotel has a restaurant which we didn’t use. Incredible value. It is also not advertised but the hotel has a free shuttle to the casino you just need to ask at the desk.

very good place to stay do ask for a room in the back especially when the outside temparature permit to sleep with the window open. In the front its way too noisy. Take the 10$ breakfast unfortunatelly they dont advertise it at the front desk but do ask for it.

Just recently spent 2 nights at the Ramada Wyndham and there were a long list of problems. When we arrived our phone wasn’t working and the guy we told never fixed it. Also found two black hairs in my bed which really grossed me out. The bathtub doesn’t drain properly and the jets were not working. We also found dirty towels hanging in the closet. There was no daily house keeping due to covid but no one let us know that. On their website there is a hot tub and sauna advertised but the hot tub was out of commission. Staff were also rude and dismissive. When we addressed our concerns to the manager he did give us a refund on our stay but an apology was never given. Oh and bring ear plugs as the walls are very thin and you can hear everything.

This hotel is about 15-minute drive to the centre of Ottawa which is very convenient. It's also walking distance away from a grocery store so it's very useful when travelling with kids. The hotel itself was a bit dated and the bathtub was clogging up as the days went by. The room is very spacious and fit a folded cot for our family of 5. Even though the pool was a bit small, our kids had a great time in it. Overall, the staff was helpful and friendly and the price cannot be beat during our stay.

The check in process for this place was extremely disappointing. I showed up to check in around 7pm with a confirmation email of a booked room and they told me they didn’t have a room for me despite my confirmation of booking weeks ago.
When I asked what I am supposed to do the front desk said “I don’t know, we don’t have a room for you”
After me having to continue to say I have a reservation for a room, she finally took my confirmation to her manager and there was miraculously a room available.
Once she finally gave us the key she looked at me like what now? And I had to ask where do I park? What direction is the room? There was no information given.
Then we asked if there were any restaurants around open that we get get dinner, and her response was “no”.
So we ordered skip the dishes (who had an extremely hard time finding the place), and they did not provide cutlery, so we asked the front desk and they said they would bring some up and never did so we couldn’t eat the pasta we had ordered.
I would not recommend going here. They made us feel terrible and an inconvenience even though we had booked a room. I understand everyone is tight strapped and short staffed, I work in the industry, but the way we were treated was not okay.

The hotel is outdated and still the price per night is too expensive compared to what they offered over the phone. Front desk staffs are obnoxious and mot accommodating even though you explained to them what the staff on the phone offered still they won’t believe you. Very disappointed and frustrated with Ramada plaze gatineau ! Will not even recommend this hotel even to my enemies.

I stayed at the Ramada for 3 nights... originally booked only one but ended up extending my stay for 2 more nights.
At check-in, I was greeted by this awesome gentleman who really went above and beyond to ensure I would have a comfortable stay.
The room was great, furniture a bit outdated, but bed was super comfortable.
I would certainly recommend and would definitely go back!

We had 4 rooms here for a family weekend. We had a deluxe room 260, two king rooms 210 and 215 and a 2-double room 138. All rooms were very clean. Room 215 was a little weird as it has a staircase in it leading down to a locked door (part of an adjoining room suite). There is obviously a lot of renovation taking place throughout this hotel, but it never caused us any problem. It will be very nice when it is all done. In the meantime, the hotel was very clean and well kept. We had dinner in the restaurant and we were all very impressed with our meals. The Fish & Chips was different and delicious. The Butter Chicken was excellent as were the Samosas and Chicken Wings. Very good service as well. We didn't have the breakfast buffet but I did take a look at it and it looked quite good for the reasonable price of $15. I did go down and buy coffees in the morning as the Nespresso pods in the room were (in my opinion) terrible! We also particularly appreciated the ample free parking since we had multiple vehicles. The location was great for the Casino and lots of restaurants around. We will definitely stay at this property again.

This hotel located near casino , older style type of hotel rooms were clean but some minor problems . Safe didn’t work noticed old corroded battery’s in place . Had minor issues with keys , parking is plentiful and free

All the staff speak English. I would imagine if you have a package, it would include a shuttle, but check with them first. Parking is no problem if you have a car.
