This was an OK stay. Like my title says, there was nothing terrible, but I wasn't blown away either. I guess because this is the top-rated Fernie hotel on Trip Advisor, I was really expecting alot more. Check-in and out was friendly and efficient. I think because I checked in late (just walking in) I was offered a 10% discount,...

I loved my overnight stay here! When I checked my mini patio just to see the view outside, it didn't disappoint ! I could see a majestic mountain and you could smell the crisp, fresh air! The beds are comfortable, the tv and ref are both working, the room is clean and bathroom space is just enough too, not too...

Great coffee in the room and the breakfast muffins where excellent! Confortable and clean room. Easy access to parking, nice kitchen to get a meal prepared, it was great to be able to but some groceries in the nearby store to have a refrigerator in the room to store milk and our favorite cheese. The guest kitchen was a plus,...

Just stayed one night in this place while passing through. Didn't use any of their extra services (free laundry, movie theater, sauna, etc). The room was basic and clean. The staff was nice. The morning breakfast was very basic, but still a plus. Parking was not an issue.

Great value for money, the Auzzie gals ( Might be Kiwi's sorry if I got that wrong, my ear is not fine tuned to tell the difference) who run the front desk Ashly et al were very friendly and helpful with our stay. The hotel and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We really liked the fact that they...

Lovely and affordable hotel just off the main highway that goes through town. Staff were very friendly from start to finish. I loved the fact that they used refillable amenities (shampoo, etc) instead of those little bottles most hotels give you - seemed so much more environmentally friendly. Room was clean and cleaned well daily. Again, staff did their best...

Stayed at the Red Tree a weekend in July and a weekend in August. The nostaligia factor definitely kicked in when we were given a key to the room. That's right - an actual key. It has been years since I last saw that. The rooms themselves are a little aged and beat up, but eminently habitable. The hotel has...

The Red Tree Lodge was wonderful!! Very pet friendly; our room was close to the parking lot and to the lobby. We entered our room to a clean dog food/water bowl and a cute dog amenity (dog toy, treats and poop/scoop bag)!. The room was clean. We had access to a very clean kitchen upstairs which was complete with oven,...
