Awesome place to stay (and at great price) while in Fernie. Located right off the highway where you could view the "Ghost of Fernie" (shadow) on the side of the mountain during our summer stay, Room was big, with 2 queen beds, quiet and very clean. it was the perfect stop for my son and I. Staff was great both... More

This was our first stay at the Red Tree Lodge, and it came highly recommended by a friend of ours who is extremely stringent about his hotel standards. The place was clean and had lots of handy amenities like a game room, movie room, free dvds to borrow, free laundry facilities (you need to buy the soap) and a community... More

This was the second time we have stayed at the Red Tree Lodge, and we will definitely stay again. Nothing fancy, just perfect. Absolutely immaculate room, including gleaming washroom. Nice linens and comfortable bed. Our room was rated "superior" and had 2 queen beds and tons of space--2 dressers, lots of hooks for hanging things as well as plenty of... More

We loved the extras that this place had to offer! Which was why we chose it. The staff were very warm and friendly, and accommodating. Answered all our questions regarding the area. Also gave us some recommendations to check out some additional local sights, such as Lake Koocanusa (loved it, thanks!!). Excellent for kids (and kids at heart!): games room... More

My sister and I were turned away at the US border due to improper pet papers and needed to find a room for the night. At 11:30 Jon answered his phone and accommodated us. Not only did he not charge us the long weekend rate he welcomed us with a food/water dish full of treats and toys for my dog.... More

Hi Amanda, I'm glad you had a good end to your night after such a frustrating day. It's great to hear that you and your sister (and Abigail!) liked the hotel so much. I hope you made it to your destination today and I look forward to seeing you all again next time you're in town! Jon More

The king sized bed that was also memory foam = amazingly beyond words. (Especially after a busy week of activity). Room was really well kept, bathroom was great. Couch was super comfortable as well. Front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. It even had breakfast snacks included. Definitely worth the price.

This is an older property. They even use traditional keys in the doors. Room size (king bed) was average. Relatively clean and no damage was seen. Continental breakfast was included. This included coffee (no decaf), yogurt, fruit, and muffins. No tables to eat at, but you can take food back to your room. Dinner recommendations were offered and seemed correct.... More

Excellent big rooms, comfortable beds, reasonable price. TV/media room with lots of space, games room, laundry room. Nice and quiet even though right on the Highway. Friendly staff. Would recommend to friends and most definately would stay here again. We are early risers so unfortunately continental breakfast was too late for us - would have been nicer if it was... More
