We stayed here two nights one week apart, traveling to and from PEI. Conveniently located off the highway. Our rooms were spotless, hosts were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was fresh scones, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal, preserves, delicious coffee, tea, juice. Not much in the area for site seeing. A couple of new restaurants, micro brewery and distillery close by. Chain restaurants within a five minute drive for an easy meal. Highly recommend as an alternative stop in Edmondston to the chain hotels on the highway.

We were needing a quick spot for the night en route from Halifax to Ottawa. Great bed, spotless, silent, calm. ....with a chic light breakfast at an elegant, intimate table for chatting to other guests.Who could want for more?

Very nice room in the heart of Edmunston NB. Breakfast was disappointing for a B&B, just continental. Easy to alk to local restaurants, which seemed to be your average fair. We went to a pub within walking distance.

We likely wouldn’t have booked if we would have known but the website we booked on was unclear. Having said that the bar is now set very high for a B and B. Gorgeous I mean stunning decor. Elegant. Cozy. Comfortable. Stylish. Stunning. Great bed and super clean. Breakfast was elegant and so well presented. Lovely spot.

My wife wanted to go to Edmundston, so we made this an early anniversary present to ourselves. Based on recommendations, the choice was between here and another local hotel, but, based on the reviews and pictures, this was the choice I believe would best serve the purpose of the trip ie. romantic. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in this case, the pictures did not do the Inn justice. It is a phenomenal property, so tasteful, yet, with such a relaxing ambiance. We stayed in the king room, and, in our opinion, the room was to die for. You sink into the over-sized pillows, and, comfortable bed. My wife commented on how content I looked sleeping, and, this was the best sleep I have had in a long time. The room is what one would want to live in the rest of their life. The breakfast was such a wonderful surprise, fresh fruit cups, hard boiled eggs, astounding coffee. I'm sorry, I didn't partake in the rest of the selections. As a note of importance, regarding location, it is fantastic that the Inn is downtown, and, within a 10 minute drive of almost all attractions, restaurants, and amenities. Lastly, the Innkeepers were wonderful people that made you feel very welcome, I would like to send them our appreciation for a fantastic stay. This was our first experience in a B&B, as opposed to a hotel, and we look forward to staying in more in the future, starting with a return here in the near future for a weekend outing.

My wife and I stayed a total of two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was part of trip to and from Halifax by car from Montreal and we did not wish to do the trek in one shot. This place was comfortable with beds that make you want to sleep in longer than you should, a very generous, delicious home-cooked breakfast that rivals any popular breakfast restaurant. Room was quiet and well appointed to give a feeling of coziness. Customer service was exceptional especially when we realized that we had locked the keys in our SUV as we were about to leave. The owner was quick to help and called a locksmith for us who was there in less than 30" and got us out of a jam. Much appreciated. Would definitely return if we were passing through again.

We spent one night here on our way from Prince Edward Island to Quebec and it turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The place is exceptional and the nicest Bed and Breakfast we've ever stayed in. Andre and Francine are wonderful hosts with a beautiful home kept spotlessly clean. The decor is beautiful, the bed linens were soft, the towels were fluffy and breakfast was wonderful. We could not have asked for more, but more there was! Francine has an extraordinary boutique of exquisite clothes and accessories out back that is truly remarkable. This B&B is top notch and wish we could have stayed longer.

What a treat it was to stay at Auberge Aucoin! The Inn was renovated in 2014 and it looks picture perfect in every way. Breakfast was the next wonderful surprise - All kinds of coffees made with their Swiss coffee machine, warm scones that were light and tasty, hard boiled eggs perfectly cooked, fruit salad, yogurts, breads...Geese! It was way beyond my expectations and I cannot imagine how they could make it any nicer!

We spent one night here, and were very impressed. We are long-term B & B travelers (130+ at last count), and didn't really know what to expect at this one, but were pleasantly surprised. The house is located on a main highway right in downtown Edmundston, but there was no significant road noise. As the name of the B & B might indicate, this is a predominantly French-speaking area near the Quebec border. The house looks rather small on the outside, but is actually pretty large. The house has a nice sitting porch in the front. There is ample parking on-site. We had a 2nd floor Superior Room----very large contemporary bedroom with a comfortable king bed, hardwood floors, two chairs, ceiling fan, good lighting and a 55" flat screen. This was one of the nicest bedrooms we had on a 21 day trip, and at a reasonable price. There was also a small sitting room right inside the door, but it only had a rather spartan chair. The tiled bathroom was also large with a standard shower/tub. It was well furnished. Breakfast was a good continental one. The innkeeper was friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice stay.

This was a great place to stay and we lacked for no amenities. Andre and Francine were exceptionally friendly, looked after our needs and prepared a great breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a great visit.
