Reception desk closed at 4 pm, so we were obliged to retrieve the envelope with keys from a lock box. We had booked the Condo, 2 Bedrooms, Mezzanine (1 km from slopes), and it was 2 km away from the check-in location. Had a very difficult time locating the 400 block of condos at 2 Belanger, after dark, because they were located off an alley on rue Val Mont and dimly lit. The detailed map of the complex was so securely stapled to the envelope (4 or 5 staples) we didn't realize it was there until after the fact. Once we finally found the place, it was just more disappointment. The floors were gritty and filthy. Everything was the cheapest possible quality, chipped, scratched, old, generally damaged and in poor repair. The couch was black with filth. The guest binder had visible grime on finger-worn pages. Basic cable when listing promised premium channels. Coffee-maker was 12 cups and coffee packet provided was designed to make 4 cups. Too much hassle to drive the 2 km to the main office to get more. Noisiest dishwasher I've ever experienced (ran it overnight and could hear it over the bedroom fans), oven was covered in tin foil and mismatched/chipped/bent plates and cutlery appeared to be garage sale finds, in addition to being dirty from previous guests. Bedrooms were tiny, no luggage rack, bed was 4" foam topper and there was a random bed squeezed in a hallway on the 2nd level, roll over wrong and you'd fall a storey down to the main floor. Stairs to 2nd level lacked a railing - not safe for anyone with balance/mobility issues. Place was HOT, no air conditioning and provided fans were cheap/ineffective. The coolest it got overnight was 24C even with windows and interior doors open for better ventilation - we had a terrible sleep. Dining table and chairs were too big for the space and impeded movement. We were just the two of us, couldn't imagine how awful it would be to have maximum occupancy of 7. Also, walls were very thin/no sound insulation and we could hear our neighbours talking. The only good thing was its proximity to the trailhead, my husband could ride his bike there instead of taking the car.

I stayed this weekend at a condo at Mont Saint Anne’s in Quebec. I will start off by stating that the one staff member I did interact with was very nice. The condition of the facility seems a bit run down. Some sheets were NOT changed from the last people who visited. Dishes looked smudged, floor carpets were not properly cleaned. The beds were CHEEP AND CRACKED. It’s important to realize it’s off-season and I didn’t see any cleaning staff. But I was expecting a reasonable condition of a condo that someone owns. This is not a deal breaker because if you travel on Budget, you will eventually be disappointed. And The place is GREAT overall. This is to inform the facility Manager to get his or her place in order. And think about how you would feel if you entered a dirty house and expected to sleep on some one else’s dirty sheets. Mont St. Ann, Is great, and I still recommend it, but fix the facility. And off season is not a reason to not to keep floors, beds, and dishes clean and should be disinfected, especially during a pandemic. We were lucky we brought sleeping bags. And bottles of alcohol and wipes, but we did not use their dishes either. Oh, some of the wash cloths were stained.

We are sincerely sorry about the bad experience you had with us and we want to assure you that proper follow up was made and that we have changed house cleaning company since then. This was certainly not the type of experience we want to give to our guests and if you would like to visit us again we will be more than pleased to give you a better experience.

We tried this place for our mountain bike week-end and we were very pleased with the location! Clean unit with a complete kitchen right by the hills. Super comfy bed. We are going to visit Mont Sainte-Anne again for sure this summer!

Friendly staff at check-in. Room was a small apartment with kitchen. Cozy despite being located in the basement. The hotel complex is on top of the mountain next to the ski lift. It's great in winter to ski great, but during off-season in summer there's not much going on (but you can use the pool) . You need a car to go up to the hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us! We indeed have two different locations and units from studios to two bedrooms. The apartment you have chosen was in a semi-basement located 1 min drive away from our front desk. We have 5 units like this one and most of our units are ski-in - ski-out at the touristic village. It is good to join us previous to your arrival to clear up the difference between both places. We were very pleased to welcome you and we sincerely hope to welcome you again soon!

Very happy with the affordable accommodation during the World Champs weekend. Everything we needed plus more. Simple decor and I really loved the vibe and the area :) It was quiet even though many people were around for the races. The shower was awesome because I love a powerful shower head :))

Stayed here with my family during March break. We stayed at the cabin/townhouses 1 KM from the hill. I called before I arrived to ask for a renovated room, as some I have seen online are not, while others were. They assured me my unit was updated. First, these are older units, but the exteriors have been updated with new siding, windows, etc. So from the outside, all is well. But the inside of our unit was poor. It seems there was an 'attempt' to update and modernize it, but that effort only included paint, new tile floors in entry and kitchen, and cheap laminate flooring in the rest of the unit (so cheap the furniture legs were leaving dents in the floors). The kitchen has original cupboards, very cheap, white press board cabinets. Counter tops were old laminate style with pieces missing from edges. Bathroom had the same old counter tops and fixtures.Bedrooms were clean but no headboards on the beds, and no decorations at all and no pictures on the wall. In fact the walls were bare throughout the unit except for 2 pictures from 1980's that hung in the living room and the dining room. Overall, it was as if there was a contest to see who could update the unit for the less amount of money and still be able to call it upgraded. It was old, dated, and cheaply done. Now, I have seen other units online in VRBO etc., that seem very nice, so I can only guess that the ones owned by the hotel and/or some owners have not been properly cared for or renovated, and that's why such a big difference in quality. I was in unit #462. Also, you get use of the indoor pool and hot tub which is close to these units, and in a separate building. Went there on our first day and the hot tub was so dirty we would not go in. Clumps of hairs, etc. It was very bad. Next day it was closed for cleaning, following day it was reopened. Looked like it was drained and cleaned so we used it and it was fine then....but lets be honest, it should be cleaned on a regular basis so it can be used on a regular basis. But..., the skiing was great and we enjoyed our time on the mountain. We would definitely not stay here again however...there are lots of NEWER units around the area, and you would be wise to book those instead.

We are sincerely sorry if your stay was not up to your expectations, this is certainly not the kind of expérience we want to give to our guests. We are a rental property of condos and townhouses owned by different owners and each accommodation is different from the others. We are disappointed that the one assigned to you has displeased you so much. We take note of your comment about the spa and be assured that a rigorous follow-up will be done. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other comments to make us we will be listening.

Quick walk to base of mountain. 1 bedroom condo is dated, but still nice. No broom and no housekeeping - even with our 3 night stay, so that was a bit disappointing. Tiny parking spaces in the garage - we could barely fit our pickup truck. Late check-in was a bit confusing. It would have been nice if they gave us a heads-up with instructions. Essentially, you have to go the front lobby of Block 6. Just outside the hotel reception there’s a phone, and a note with instructions to contact late-night reception, that will provide you with a code to open lockbox near the phone — inside you should find your envelope, which contains your room number and keys (for building access, condo, and storage locker). Note: WiFi password is right on the key chain. If we were to return to Mont Sainte-Anne, I’d probably try another accommodation - especially if a pool/spa is located in the same building (unlike Hébergement, which is about 1 km away, so we didn’t we didn’t end up using those amenities).

Dear Christine, We thank you for taking a moment to comment your stay, we appreciate the feedback. We would like to point out that Hebergement Mont Sainte-Anne is a condo-hotel type of rental establishment and we do not offer the same type of services a regular hotel would like maid service every day. We offer housekeeping service for our visitors who stay for more than 4 nights. Please take note that whenever you need any item, you may come to the front desk to ask for any aminity during your stay. As for our late arrival procedure we send everyone a request to call us in case of a late arrival after 9PM. We then explain in details the procedure written in the envelope left to your attention in the safe deposit. The staff that answers the house phone can also help you with directions. We are sorry if our indoor pool being located 1km away from the unit was an issue for you. Indeed our pool and spa are located in another building. We thank you for choosing Hebergement Mont Sainte-Anne!

We stayed here last summer during our Quebec trip in a one bedroom condo (semi-basement - 1 km from slopes). The condo wasn't very crowded, we got the swimming pool all by ourselves. We picked this place due to its proximity to Canyon Sainte-Anne, Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and Quebec City. It was quite roomy and clean. Not bad if you don't mind staying 40 mins away from Quebec City.

This trip was for a wedding. We booked to stay in the cottages and realized that they did not have air conditioning. It was the beginning of July/18 and in the middle of a heat wave, so we asked to change to the condo's which had air conditioning but was a bit smaller and had no pool. I am a 4-5 star hotel kind of person, so I knew going into this that we wouldn't be living in luxury. It is an older building, the style, colours, stove, and fridge was a bit older in our studio condo. However, because we were a part of a wedding party they did give us a discount for our stay. I am big on helpful customer service and I remember the day of the wedding I went to the front desk to ask how to buzz someone up to the brides room and they said they had no clue. So, I figured it out on my own. I mean not a big deal, but I mean they could have made the effort to at least try and figure it out. Plus with the chaos on the wedding day, those kind of comments are not helpful. That aside, I still would not rate this really high. I am sure there are better hotels close by or maybe even an air bnb that you could find for a reasonable price. Also, if you have a wheelchair you might find it difficult to navigate throughout the hotel and the surrounding areas. The hallways are a bit narrow and the walkways a bit lumpy. Lastly, the location was great for me because the wedding was in the same area. However, it is not close to a lot of other attractions/or city.Depending on the reason for your stay, will determine whether or not this condo is worthwhile. For us it worked for what we needed it for. A place to rest our heads.

When we arrived the receptionist was very nice and informative, she spoke both French and English, which was very helpful. The condo we rented was very dated, the kitchen closet door came off the track when we would open it and the back of the couch had a metal spring peeking out and when you sat on the couch it would come out. We didn’t see this until it ripped my pants and obviously not very safe with our 3 year old. I spoke to another receptionist about it and she was very aloof about the information that I provided her.
