We came here for a one-night getaway to celebrate our 2-year “official relationship” anniversary:) Neither one of us had been here before; and I had originally booked L’Esterel, but panicked after seeing all the bad reviews, so we decided to try this place instead. Since I knew we would have to eat dinner in our room, my main concern was finding a place that could accommodate that. ~ Great service: staff was quick to reply to emails and personally I liked the “no contact” check-in; download the app, check-in online, get your room key and room number on your phone - no need to even set foot at reception! Certainly saves time on arrival and departure. ~ We booked a “pavillon suite” and it was perfect for our needs. The suite is *huge* with an enormous balcony, comfortable bed, couch, table with 4 chairs, fireplace (wood!! No gas!) a fully equipped kitchenette and a large bathroom. There a safe, ironing board, and even a dishwasher and a washer and dryer! This room would be perfect for a longer stay. It was also beautifully decorated and extremely clean; the bathroom did not have a jacuzzi but the bathtub was a deep, square modern one, again sparkling clean and I did enjoy it. ~ Everything worked really well... hot water, appliances and the wifi... I don’t know but my boyfriend who always travels with a dozen devices, said this was the best streaming and wifi we have had in a hotel so far. ~ Very centrally located, within walking distance of Tim Hortons, SAQ and several restaurants. We ordered dinner from Gibby’s which was only a 5-min drive away and BF cooked breakfast the next morning - best setup under the circumstances! The kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes and cutlery and even dish soap and dishwasher pods. Because we visited in early May of course we could not take advantage of the pool and other amenities. It was also too cold during our stay to even hang out on the balcony. I would like to visit again in the summer; I would however make sure *not* to stay in the same building we were in and this is the reason I cannot quite give 5 stars... we stayed in the “Domaine” building and the ground floor entry way smelled pretty loudly of cigarette smoke. Our room was on the 2nd floor however, which did not smell at all, neither did our room. Not sure if the ground floor maybe is reserved for smokers rooms? Also - our suite faced “downtown” St-Sauveur and with the patio door open, there is a lot of street noise. I would prefer a room facing the woods or the pool next time, of course having not been there before I did not know the configuration. Small thing, but 2 of our 4 table chairs did not match the set. Probably many people would not care/notice, but it was an eyesore to me. Bottom line... I’m not a fan of this province, but as long as this is our only option, the Manoir is definitely on my list of summer destinations!

Hotel's Favourite
My wife and i had a fantastic stay at the Manoir on the Labor day week end. We took advantage of the 2 night- 1 free night stay.Parking was easy, check in was easy, finding the room was easy and the staff were very helpfull considering the masks and distancing. The room was clean and well furnished. My wife used the spa services and was very happy with her massage and facial. The pool was clean and the pool staff was very polite. The wait staff at the pool bar were very nice and the bartender had a good "over pour" in our drinks. On the last day we booked a Cabana at the pool and i would like to give Kevin ( our waiter) a 5 star rating for his service and tireless service, even at the end of his shift,he gave us the time to order a last bottle of wine to complete our stay. The manoir is well placed in St Sauveur so an easy walk to the town center is a must. They have tennis courts, basketball hoops, kids zone and ping pong tables available for the guests. My ONLY bad point: Make it easier for your guests to keep a tab on their expenses...give the customers a copy of their receipts after each transaction because the 4 page invoice you give us at check out ( with no explanation of what we spent) is confusing. We had a 20$ charge at the Bar for drinks we never had. This gave us a bad feeling that maybe we had other charges that were not ours. It's easy to give another room number to get drinks and food without the staff checking if it's really your room. So my fellow TA's...this Manoir is the place to stay in St So... The Man Wow St - Sauveur...

I went to the Manoir itwice this past year and everytime it was the most awesome experience! The first time I went with my best friend without our kids and husbands. We had lunch at the restaurant followed by a massage, a facial and a beautiful relaxation time at the spa outside. It was very quiet. The staff was extremely professional and experienced. We loved both services. I HIGHLY recommend the facial there ( you can include different services in the facial like waxing, essential oil treatment, etc ) We had diner at the restaurant...it was SO GOOD. The food, the service. WOW. I'm a big foodie and I was not disapointed. We had planned to have breakfast at a different restaurant but decided to stay at the hotel. The plates are big, generous and so tasty. The second time with my husband and my daughter. We enjoyed the inside pool. There was 2 other families there, super nice. There's a lifeguard there as long as the pool is open. Diner was as good as the previous time. Fast service. I highly recommend this hotel for a night away from your kids or even a fun family trip. The staff is extremely welcoming. I'm going back in a couple weeks with my husband for a lovely romantic getaway. I can't wait!
