Visited once again this magnificent resort but this time with my husband as lovers. Staff was wonderful and courteous. Amenities, spa and thermal experience are a great suggestion when visiting.
Food was on point as always at the Msteak house. Bought us a bathrobe each at $55…. Cheap price for the quality of the robes.
For those who travel around the world like us, this place is 5 stars for sure in our books.
Highly recommend

Stayed 5 nights at the manoir with my family.
NO housekeeping during the entire stay “ because of COVID “. Staying 5 nights with 2 kids and no cleaning, needless to say our room was dirty. You spend thousands of dollars and the hotel can’t be bother to clean the rooms.
This rule is absurd to say the least. The same way the waiter brings you food at the hotel
Restaurant, I don’t understand how the housekeeper cannot clean a room. With the excuse of “safety” the hotel is clearly cutting corners on costs as they probably struggle with labor shortage. One elevator was broken for the WHOLE stay ( and we are talking about the week between Xmas and New Years).
Nobody respects the “ only 1
Family” turn on the elevator, not even staff. Only the main restaurant is open, bar is closed, so the only restaurant open is always packed ( how is that for Covid safety?)

We stayed here on family day weekend with our 2.5 year old and our 4 year old.

We had a room with two double beds. The room was very nice. We’re use to staying at the cheapest hotel we can find so we found this to be very nice. But considering the price we paid I do feel that there should be free coffee available like most hotels. There were 2 cups and after that you had to pay.

The resort was nice. Only used the kids club for a few minutes while waiting for supper. Check in was quick and easy. Parking cost $20 a night in the garage because we couldn’t find parking in the outside parking lot.

Pool was nice. Good temperature.
Outdoor pool was very nice. Really enjoyed it.

We ate at the Italian restaurant inside the resort and the food (pizza and gelato) was delicious.

We skiied, skated the trails at Parc John Mason? , went tubing and swam during our stay.

It was a very nice family friendly ski town. We would consider coming back.

I stayed here as part of a group booking in early July 2022. There are now Nespresso Vertuo machines in every room, though the pod selection was only double expresso when we were there. There is a mini bar fridge in every room (information I could not find anywhere online!).

I read the other reviews here and was expecting much worse. Overall we found our stay very pleasant. The rooms were quiet, and modern. We needed a better (wider) blackout blind on our window, it was very bright in the morning. We had 2 double beds in our room and would have preferred 1 king size - I am not sure if they are not available or if this was because of our group booking.
The customer service could be WAY better. For example, our booking included breakfast. I did not want to eat in the resto but was told I was not allowed to take a plate back to my room - "this is why they have room service" (which is of course, more expensive especially with the multiple fees/tip etc). To me this is insane, if we have paid for breakfast we should be able to eat it wherever we like, especially as it is a buffet and there was plenty of food.

We were 4 ladies on a retreat. Reserved the 2-story suite and paid 1669.00$ for 2 nights. Our objective was to spend time relaxing in the room, cook for ourselves, take advantage of the pool/hot tub and a massage.

upon our arrival the room was ready. we were excited to get started early at 3pm Friday. the door to our room did not lock from the inside, the hallway smelled of old cigarette. the stairs between balcony and inside, wobbly..we informed the front desk as this was a hazard. nothing was done. we had 2 housecoats even if we had reserved for 4 people. the fireplace was full of ashes and leftover garbage from previous tenants. we pulled one of the bed to fetch an earring and found garbage and old used masks!!
the kitchen was limited on utilities. pictures showed a coffee maker, none in room. called front desk for coffee maker and was told that with covid none being provided...no bother telling us that so we can bring our own. suggested we go to dining room for coffee every morning for a total of 24$ of coffee per day! wow
a few windows had broken mechanisms and screens to be desired.
we had to book our hot tub..that's fine..for massages, they are VERY expensive...one massage therapist arrived 10min late for our massage and still charged the full hour and left envelop for a tip. humm

we had a wonderful relaxing time together but we will not come here again

thank you

Stayed for 2 nights in April 2022 in a 2-queen bed Evian room.

Many signs that this property is understaffed: Dirty dishes stayed in hallway for more than 36 hours. Filthy bathrooms in the spa/pool area (blood stains on tampons trash, finger marks and hair on hair drier). Steam room not working. Indoor hot tub not warm, outdoor hot tub water was not clean.

Poor design: Room extremely loud. It felt like my room was open to the hallway. Absolutely no sound proofing from other guests opening closing their doors. Room service knocking on doors starting at 8h30. Bed was very hard. Nice decor in the room itself but strange mic of decors throughout the hotel making it look cheap and outdated.

On the positive side, the staff I interacted with very friendly and the food at La Tablée was surprisingly good for hotel restaurant.

Overall overpriced for what you get. Would recommend staying in Tremblant instead where there is a larger range of good quality amenities for that price range.

We chose to take a 4 day family trip for the first time since the pandemic started. When we made our reservation we were told that there were safety protocols in place and that common areas are frequently disinfected and that there was a maximum of 90 people allowed at the pool. Well......the pool was filthy and jam packed. People everywhere on top of each other. Not once did anyone clean the pool or common areas during the day or check the ph levels of the pool for that matter. Hallways and stair cases were so dirty, the same crumbs were on the ground for 4 days. There is no longer housekeeping services due to covid, yet people are roaming the indoor spaces of the hotel with no masks, including staff, and the common areas are never cleaned.
To top off our experience, the light over our bed short circuited and caught fire and the response of the hotel was just to not touch the light until the morning. There were sparks and smoke that burned through the pillow on the bed, thank goodness nobody was lying there or they would have been burned. I insisted on a new room to sleep in as I was not going to put my children’s safety at risk, you would think that they would have offered as this is a huge safety concern and liability.
All in all the service is horrible and the hotel is filthy, definitely no safety measures in place.

It had been a while since we were at the Manoir which usually has a good reputation. Things went wrong right out of the gate on a prepaid stay 3 weeks prior to arriving. I understand we are coming out of confinement but this establishment was a pretty well oiled machine. The suite was definitely not as clean as I would have expected , things were in disrepair, had to call maintenance upon entering room, the reception was not in tune with an earlier request submitted several days in advance. There were way to many people not wearing masks (except for the staff). The food at the outdoor resto was lousy (kudos to our waitress Sylvie who was sweet and full of compassion and empathy) So for a first trip out celebrating an anniversary and retirement it was a complete bust for us. Not sure we will be spending our money there anytime soon. Sorry!

As a resident of the Laurentians I’ve been a regular customer of the spa for years, usually booking a massage and pedicure several times throughout the year.

This year I booked a 60-minute pedicure, and clearly explained to the receptionist that I was removing and redoing gel. I asked for the price, 85$ plus tax, and noted it in my calendar.

The girl who did the pedicure, as well as the trainee who stayed to observe were both very pleasant, and my polish was good, but…although I didn’t have much to sand, the technician didn’t even bother to try smoothing out any rough patches on my feet, which is part of a standard pedicure treatment.

45 minutes later they were done, and because there were two girls there, I left them 20$ for their time. I went immediately to the desk to pay, and the receptionist tried to spring an additional charge on me for ‘dissolving’ the previous pedicure’s polish.

Seriously! I’ve been getting more thorough pedicures for a fraction of the price forever, and this is the first time anyone ever asked for more money for the 5 minutes it took for the technician to file off the polish on 8 toes, apply cotton swabs for a minute on 2 toes, and then file off the residue. I flat out refused to pay a penny more, not even having taken into account that they didn’t honour the entire hour allocated for the pedicure. One hundred dollars plus a 20 dollar tip for an ok pedicure, and they still wanted more.

This is the second time they’ve done this. The last time I booked a massage I was given one price over the phone, and after my appointment they tried to charge me more for a weekend rate, when they knew I was booking on a weekend when I asked.

What a way to lose a good customer.

I decided to take my family for a small ski getaway and turned out to be a very memorable one. We really enjoyed this hotel, it’s spa and restaurants. The children had a blast in the kids Center where they kept them entertained for most part of the day. The food and service were excellent as well. I would recommend staying at the Manoir St-Sauveur for couples or families that want go getaway from the city and enjoy a few days with your loved ones and not have to worry about anything.
