Detailed Reviews
Excellent location facing the marina. Beautiful walking path in front of hotel. The rooms are large very quiet and a Nespresso coffee machine is standard equipment in all the rooms. We had a room with a balcony but no chairs available to sit outside to enjoy the scenery. Lots of parking spaces available.

The larger room on the corner with a balcony was well worth the extra fee. Plenty of windows to let the light in with a great view from the balcony. Great A/C, powerful shower, and lots of room.. This is THE place to stay.

Spent one night at le Château Arnaud for business purposes. I had a room with a view on the bay. The room was very clean, had a large balcony and was comfortable. Breakfast was basic but ok for me. Un fortunatly, not many restaurants were opoened nearby, but the location is good, along the bay were you can walk along the docks.

I had a quick overnight stay in Sept Iles and thought this hotel looked perfect. I contacted the hotel to inquire about availability and parking, whereas I had a trailer with me. When I called I attempted to ask in French if anyone some English, too which he replied no and hung up on me. Trying to give the benefit, I called back and repeated again if anyone spoke English (in French) he rudely said , I already told you I don’t speak English. Still trying to work with the person on the line, I was able to muster enough French to understand what I was looking for. He then responded in English, I do not speak English I told you and hung up.
I have never been a person who has ever looked or treated someone different based on their race, ethnic background or language, and I don’t even like to insinuate this was the case, however, his actions have left me feeling like I was not welcomed based on my lack of French.
Needless to say, I would not recommend any person who does not fluently speak French try to book at this hotel, which is a shame that this beautiful small community is limiting their tourism industry.
I did end up booking at the Quality Inn which they were very helpful in accommodating the trailer and together with my limited French and her limited English, they were able to meet my needs.

Hotel itself is nice and (mostly) clean. Beds are very comfortable and rooms have air conditioning. However, parking is a little cramped and the service received at reception was less than stellar - the gentleman that checked us in gave us the wrong class of room, and when I asked for what I'd booked, was told there were no balcony rooms remaining. When pressed to get what was booked 3 weeks prior (balcony room) , I was made wait an hour and then told we were getting a free upgrade to the actual room we booked (-ie. What I booked and paid for, not an upgrade at all). We stayed 2 nights, and no housekeeping was offered- we had to ask for toiletries, towels and coffee for the room (and wash the cups to reuse - again, no housekeeping attempted to visit the room). The ocean view balcony rooms are very nice, the breakfast is ok, but the human element needs definite improvement! Hotel itself deserves a 3 star, maybe 4, but the absolutely terrible reception and overlooked housekeeping drops it to a 2 at best. Good luck!

Best hotel in 7 Iles. Was here in the winter but in the summers I think is amazing being on the sea shore. The rooms are spacious and clean. The people at the reception desk are nice and helpful. The heating/AC is in good shape and not noisy. Fridge in the room.
Minuses: no microwave in the room, the bathroom fan is on the same interruptor as the light )noisy), the breakfast area on the basement has poor light (not a Swedish breakfast-the caterer defends and distribute the sausages :-).
Tips: there is a parking area in the back for the pick-up trucks.
We'll definitely be back at this hotel when in 7 Iles!

The hotel is in excellent condition, the installation looks very clean and well maintained. The room are very spacious and well decorated and illuminated, my room has a balcony with a nice view of the old port. Comfortable bed and linen. This stay could be a awesome time but the hotel have a big down side and is the breakfast no only the breakfast place is horrendous with the worst illumination possible (really awful dark) but the quality of the food is the worst choice you can found and for more disappointing experience the breakfast employee in charge was very impolite and rude. The breakfast is supposed to be until 10 am but at 9:15 the employee at the breakfast was gathering everything and removed all the food, and because we said the breakfast didn’t was finished he began to throw the plates and other utensils around, showing his dissatisfaction with the situation. IMHO it would be more beneficial if the hotel didn't offer breakfast at all

My first trip to this part of Canada n Quebec.
Good location and tidy room.
Friendly staff at reception.
B’fast service poor (maybe because of current health concerns)
Adequate car parking facilities.
Walking distance to some nice restaurants.

The Beds were comfortable, the room was great, very clean. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was a bit deceiving, even tough there were a lot of options.
Overall we had a great stay, we would certainly go back.
