Because our usual place was fully booked (Mont Tremblant National park) I was excited at the idea of cabins on the lake at this place. We rented a floating cabin. There are bunk beds, a large double bed, a picnic table, minifridge coffee maker and toaster in a 12 x12 space. They call this ready to camp. You must bring everything else. Ok. Cramped and not efficient if you have any gear but we gave it a go.
I'm accustomed to the ready to camps at the Tremblant National parks where you bring only your sleeping bag and pillows. The price is excessive at Domaine Lausanne for the site cabin and overall experience. Given the fire pit is a on slant and the picnic table on the road, it's not conducive to cooking.

The pros
No tent to put up
Beds were comfortable
There are playgrounds for kids
Game room for kids
Food truck

Cons
The location is on the 117. You can hear it at night unless you are in the more secluded area like the mountain sector.
The doors don't close properly
The way the campground is maintained in general is lacking.
Examples
Toilet cleaning did not include refilling toilet paper rolls
The cabin on the lake had our picnic table on the road. No space at all. The firepit is slanted downwards. So don't bring kids to those cabins.
They could use some landscaping to make it nicer around the floating cabins
The campsites are close, almost like a parking lot. No privacy unless you stay there year round or stay in the mountain sector. If so, be prepared to walk all the way to the entrance to dispose of garbage. Garbage cans on the sites are for small items only
Toilettes? Be prepared to walk. They are old.
You may find drinkable water there at the facilities near the beach.
The lake is small and on a hot day the stink of rot eminates from the water. It's disgusting. I saw people tossing their leftover liquids into the lake.
You cannot circulate in your vehicle on the grounds. Fine but on our first night a police car circulated the grounds 5 times around 10pm to passed the 11 pm curfew. Not very normal for a Peaceful relaxed stay.
The final thing I detest is the reservation policy
If you cancel between 15 to 90 days you get charged 150 plus tax!!!!!!!
90 days???? This is theft. I was disgusted by that. It was the first and last time they will get my money for their overpriced closets and parking lot campground. Nobody charges a 150$ fee to cancel 90 days in advance???? This is insane.
This of course is my responsibility, I misread the fine print on the reservation policy. I thought I saw 25$. So beware. Lesson learned. I had reserved a microlodge for labour day weekend. After this experience I cancelled. The microlodge is larger and actually ready to camp but much too expensive for what this is.

We went to visit my parents on the campground for the afternoon, they charged us $25 dollar for the visit (fairly expensive to began with) for a family of 4, two adults and 2 kids under 2 years old. They would not let us take the car in to my parents campsite and wanted us to park at the front gate. We tried to explain that we could not walk with 2 small children, the diaper bag, the strollers, the cooler, the playpen and the bag of clothes but they would not listen to reason. They did not want to ask for a golf cart to bring the stuff or staff to help or allow us to go drop the stuff and come back. We were forced to pay an additional $22 to get trough the gate with the car. Useless, rude, non child friendly staff at the front desk. Never again

😳 NOTICE TO ALL CAMPERS BE PREPARED! 🫵🏼
CHECK OUT PHOTOS AND READ 👀UNTIL THE END!

WITH ALL RESERVES, THIS CAMPSITE IS CERTAINLY NOT 4 STARS!

MY ONLY TWO 🎖️ GO FOR THE LAKE BECAUSE IT'S THE ONLY ATTRACTIVE THING.

DO NOT RELY ON THE PHOTOS ON THE SITE OR ON THE FLEETERS AS THEY ONLY SHOW 👀 THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND THE CONDITION OF THE PLACE A FEW YEARS AGO, BELIEVE ME. 😨🤔😠 THE RATES ARE OBVIOUSLY THE CHEAPEST TIME OF THE YEAR.

FIRST THING WE NOTICED WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE CAMPSITE WAS THE WELCOME, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE THE ENTRANCE SINCE IT IS VERY POORLY SIGNIFIED AND IT IS NOT WELCOME AT ALL. 😒
OLD BUILDINGS SERVE AS DISPLAY BOARDS AS IF THEY WERE SEEKING TO HIDE THEM BEHIND THE DECOR. TINY YELLOW CEMENT BORDERS WILL BE YOUR GUIDE. I FELT LIKE I WAS ENTERING A CINEPARC COURTYARD. 😳😨
AND FOR THE REST IT IS STRONGLY LACKING JUGEOTTE, MAINTENANCE, CLEANLINESS AND RIGOR 😒

#1: TOILETS ARE EXTREMELY UNCLEAN AND OLD BUILDINGS ARE USED AS TOILETS AND SHOWERS.
SHOWERS CARE $1 FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 MESSY MINUTES.
THE TOILETS ARE NOT CLEANED ADEQUATELY, THE BOLLE IS DIRTY AND THE UNDERCOVER IS ALSO IN ADDITION TO THE WALLS AND FLOOR WHICH SMELL BAD AND ARE EXTREMELY DISGUSTING.
*FURTHERMORE, IF YOU ARE PRUDENT DON’T SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE! 😨 OLD BARN DOORS WITH WOODEN SLATS THAT YOU CAN SEE BETWEEN THE SLOTS, IN SHORT, THE REAL LOOK OF AN OLD BACK HOUSE! 😳😤 IN ADDITION TO THE INSECTS AND THE LIGHTS IN THE EVENING THAT DON'T WORK. THE BOTTOM OF OTHER DOORS OF OTHER TOILETS ON SITE ARE ALSO SO HIGH THAT YOU CAN ALMOST SEE THE THIGHS OF THE PEOPLE SITTING THERE! 😳😡 IN ADDITION TO NOSEABONDES SMELLS!

#2: NO WIFI AVAILABLE ON THE SITE😠WHILE DURING THE RENTAL WE WERE INFORMED THAT THERE WAS SOME. ONCE ON SITE AND ASKED FOR THE WIFI CODE, NONE AVAILABLE, WE WERE TOLD, SHARE A CONNECTION WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR. 😳 WHAT! 🤬

#3: CELLULAR NETWORK PROBLEM🤔 IF YOU OWN A CELLULAR WITH A PROVIDER THAT USUALLY DOESN'T WORK OUT OF AREA, WELL, DON'T BE SURPRISED, YOU WILL HAVE TO TRAVEL INTO TOWN TO CALL.

#4: NO LAUNDRY ROOM 😲SURPRISE! NEVER SEEN IN CAMPING! 😑 WE WERE TOLD UPON OUR ARRIVAL THAT THERE WERE NO MORE AND THAT WE HAD TO GO TO DOWNTOWN STE-AGATE TO DO OUR LAUNDRY! 😨😳😑😳🫣😤

#5: TRASH AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE CAMPSITE ONLY! 😳 SO, SAY HELLO TO YOUR SHOES 🦶🏻 TO CARRY YOUR WASTE INSTEAD OF GOING TO THE TROUBLE OF PUTTING A CONTAINER AT EACH SANITARY STATION 🙄😤 IT’S OVERWHELMING ME!

#6: ☝️IF YOU OWN AN AUNT, ADVISE, GO ELSEWHERE! 👉🏼
AND 🤝WELCOME TO THE RV BECAUSE YOU HAVE ALL THE WONDERFUL MINIMAL THINGS THEY DON'T OFFER YOU! 😒SO NO WORRY. BUT PREPARE TO PAY PRICE! 🤑

GUESTS ARE NOT ADMITTED UNPAID. $17 FOR ONLY ONE PERSON PER DAY. IF YOU SLEEP, IT'S $19 TO STAY ON THE SITE FOR THE NIGHT (SHORT FOR A COUPLE OF GUESTS, PER DAY, YOU PAY ALMOST THE FULL PRICE OF LAND!) 😲🤔😠

IN ADDITION, YOU MUST ALWAYS WEAR A COLORED BRACELET SHOWING THE DATE OF YOUR DEPARTURE..😒 I FELT WATCHED 👀 LIKE IN A DAYCARE OR AN AMUSEMENT PARK. WE ARE HERE TO RELAX AND NOT TO STRESS! 🤔

#7: IF YOU OWN AN ANIMAL SUCH AS A DOG, A $7 DAY FEES ALSO APPLY FOR YOUR PET. * STILL SURPRISE THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO WEAR A BRACELET ON YOUR DOG'S PAW! 🤦‍♀️

#8: AT THE PRICE OF $20, THE ACTIVITIES ARE EXPENSIVE AND NO DISCOUNTS FOR ON-SITE CAMPERS. YOU PAY ONLY IN CASH IN ADDITION TO THE PEDALS ARE DEFECTIVE AND THE BOARDS IN POOR CONDITION. 😐😑

# 9: BE CAREFUL IF YOU LOVE CAMPFIRES, BRING YOUR WOOD OR THE LOGS THEY WILL OFFER YOU ARE (GREEN WOOD) AND SMOKING SO MUCH THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENJOY YOUR FAMILY TIME WITHOUT CHOKING IN THE SMOKE * IF YOU HAVE RESPIRATORY HEALTH PROBLEMS, BE AWARE THAT IN THE EVENING ON THE CAMPSITE THE AIR IS STRONGLY AND TOXIC NOT BREATHABLE SINCE EVERYONE BUILD THEIR FIRES AT THE SAME TIME AND MUNK THE DEVIL. *

# 10: THE TRAILS AND CHALETS ARE PRETTY IN APPEARANCE ONLY, BECAUSE SEVERAL PEOPLE COMPLAIN THAT THERE IS MOLD ON THE WINDOW SILLS AND THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ALL THE STRICT NECESSARY FOR THE MAXIMUM PERSON ADMITTED ON THE PREMISES (example, number of chairs, utensils, napkins, trash cans with bags, etc.)

OTHER COMMENTS AND REMARKS:
WHEN YOU INQUIRE, NOBODY SEEMS TO GIVE YOU THE SAME INFORMATION REGARDING PRICES AND THINGS INCLUDED ON SITE😡

WITH ALL RESERVES:
BE CAREFUL, THINGS ARE GETTING WORSE FROM YEAR TO YEAR ACCORDING TO SEVERAL VISITORS, IT APPEARS THAT THEY ARE SELLING LAND!
BE CAREFUL IF YOU BUY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT AS RUMORS ARE CIRCULATING.

IN SHORT, WE COULD NOT CANCEL OUR WEEKLY STAY BECAUSE WE WERE ALREADY ON THE SITE AND MORE THAN 3 HOURS FROM HOME AND ALL THE OTHER CAMPSITES WERE ALREADY BUSY, IT WAS A VERY LONG WEEKLY STAY . THE LAKE WAS THE ONLY ATTRACTION!

* IN SHORT IT WOULD DESERVE A TOTAL REFUND! *

-ONE VISIT IS ENOUGH IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THE EXTENT OF THE CORRECTIONS TO BE ESTABLISHED-

Dirty camping, man. Unsanitary toilet blocks. No garbage on the site. Land poorly developed. Nothing like the pictures on the flyer or website. Unpleasant employees failing customer service. We will not return and will not recommend this campsite.

We had booked 3 nights, we were with a motorhome accompanied by our 2 grandsons. We only had 2 nights, no privacy, the site next to us was free but the neighbor on the other site used it for a playground (big party) and even used it on the campground, it was unpleasant😡. The toilet blocks are really not clean, disappointing. The showers have no curtains and given the small space everything is soaked on the floor and what about the bench to put on it's clothes it's so narrow that you can't put your things on it and no hook to hang your towel, it's no place sense . Poorly maintained toilets. We don't understand that with all this negative feedback the owners don't take it into account. >>> if we had not thought to read the comments before booking our stay we would not have rented this campsite. Disappointing to rent a campsite with the aim of bringing your grandchildren for an annual holiday stay. We will not politely return to the campsite 🏕️. Positive point **** beautiful lake, land large enough for an RV, security passes regularly.

We stayed 2 nights at Camping du Domaine Lausanne... It was a disappointing experience.... The pitches are all stacked on top of each other, there is no privacy... The toilets are clearly insufficient on the places... Very poorly maintained, constant lack of paper, clogged toilets.... Insufficient showers also... Cleanliness really leaves something to be desired... The playgrounds, tennis courts and others are outdated... It is definitely necessary invest in all the facilities... Few staff... but those we encountered were courteous... I do not recommend this campsite....

Bad, bad, bad! Overcrowded, dirty and horrible toilets. We had taken a loan to camp: the dishes were dirty and so was the camp. Pierced mosquito nets, no privacy! Dear! No customer service!
