The room was clean and comfortable. In this time of covid pandemic, I appreciated that cups in the room were all individually packed. Room temperature is easily adjustable in the room. The staff team was amazing. Tony in particular was very helpful and he went extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Location-wise, a beautiful running/biking trail along the river is literally a min walking distance away! It’s also close to downtown, several restaurants (wow grill was great!) convenient store and a big grocery store- all within the walking distance.

Spent a week here with my son. Staff was friendly and rooms were adequate for the price. Tony, the manager checked in with us to see if everything was ok. When he heard we were there for a hunting trip, he put us in contact with some local knowledge. Thanks Tony!

Tony barber AKA tony Montana was a big help to my stay made me feel welcome and also was a real people’s person .excellent dude The staff here was friendly and helpful Good food at the restaurant (rigger) They got BBQ at each section of hotels So staying here for work for a month hot too bbq a steak every now and then Pool hot tub only one in town

This hotel was absolutely disgusting for cleaniness. Our smoking room understandably smelled like smoke, however the entire bathroom had to be re-cleaned by cleaning staff due to the smoke stain from moisture that was on the roof, door and walls. The pool was absolutely disgusting with bandaids, chunks of hair floating in the pool, and the hottub had a ring of sweat, dirt and body hair around the outside. However the desk staff at the front was very accommodating and great to deal with, so 5 stars for their service, but due to cleaniness will never be back.

Room key did not work after check in had to have maintenance come fix it and long with TV remote with no back or batteries. Had no other room for me as they could not confirm that the new room was non smoking. Stayed for 3 nights, the second day there was no maid service done. Second night got to kill 3 ants on the night stand, should be no ants out in northern Alberta in the end of March. Went to check out Sunday morning at 6.30 and there was a homeless person sleep in between the entrance doors and the lobby. Will not be staying here again if I have to go to Peace River again.

Stayed as a team for the Atom A Hockey Provincials and had one of the best tournament experiences yet. I have never had a hotel/inn put so much effort into making sure our stay was great. Tony Barber went above and beyond to make our kids feel special. The parents had a great space to gather for meals and socializing which overlooked the pool and water slide which the the kids had a blast in. Sasha M

While in Peace River for our hockey tournament the team stayed at the BCMI. The staff went above and beyond to make the whole team feel welcome. They provided us with a complimentary conference room to use for the weekend, and Anthony in particular took great interest in the boys hockey games and even gave them all hockey cards from his personal collection. The kids had a blast in the pool all weekend and the food at the restaurant was really good too. All the fun times had at the hotel created lasting memories the whole team will take with them for life. Thanks Anthony and BCMI for hosting us!!

We stayed here on a quick overnight trip to Peace River. We wanted something budget and that is what this was - big room but outdated, however everything was clean. Internet was excellent. Staff were very friendly. There was something odd though - we wanted the pool and waterslide but I saw on one review website that it had been shut down just weeks before. When I emailed the hotel to see if it was operational I received a number of emails back that said it was, and then said that it wasn't but it might be soon, and then one said it was never shut down. I am not sure why the confusion around the pool's operations but I'd check before booking if that is the reason for your stay here.
