I stayed there for two weeks and did enjoy myself the entire time. I loved the complimentary breakfasts every morning in that hotel's restaurant and the front desk staff were also so friendly and helpful. The housekeeping services were excellent as well. The only flaw though was their cable TV. It would keep freezing up whenever you tried to navigate the program menu and that happened all the time. I'd have to turn off the TV and turn it on again to get it working. That's a faulty system they have there, but other than that, my stay was a totally enjoyable one. I love that place.

I am a lawyer and was in town for court. The room was simple, and did not have wine glasses or a cork screw. However, the room was very clean, which was important to me during the pandemic.
Staff were friendly, after checking in, I received a welcome text message, to which I responded, and confirmed that room service was still in effect. Food was good.
Overall, I would stay here again.

We have had to remove our glassware and other items including corkscrews from our rooms during the pandemic, however we do have a team of service professionals that can bring you many items not featured in the rooms with just a simple text message. We recently received recognition from the Alberta Hotel and Lodging Assoc. for our cleanliness and sanitization protocols in place for both guest and staff areas; our commitment to your safety is at the forefront of our operations every day! Stayed here for a night for business in Peace River. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. They also have a games room in the bar but I didn’t do any gambling.
Would recommend to anyone travelling in the area without hesitation.

What a great place to stay wish it could have been longer really great rooms clean well kept and bonuses very cheap for what you get. Staff was knowledgeable and very helpful kept asking if there was more that they could do for us six people in our group with 3 rooms all were satisfied. My highest recommendation. Well done

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. We stayed in the North Wing (500-600 Block) which was detached from the main hotel (only a few short steps away).
Everything from Service to Cleanliness to EXCEPTIONAL VALUE was above expectations. I don’t write reviews unless I feel it has be earned and the Sawridge Inn has absolutely earned this review.
$89 per night (includes awesome breakfast which had a myriad of options) to stay in a beautiful room that is well furnished with new mattresses and pillows and is squeaky clean as my husband pointed out during his shower. It is so clean that you can actually walk on the hotel floors without slippers or socks and know you aren’t going to catch anything!!!!
All the staff were friendly and always made sure we were taken care of. They went out of their way to greet us. Our coffee maker wasn’t working properly and they brought us a new one within 5 minutes. The Housekeeping team always asked if we needed anything. Also I need to note that even the glass doors to the entrance was sparkling with no finger prints and smelt refreshingly clean. I was so impressed with the attention to detail.
If you are reading this… just stop and BOOK this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Best Value with service that we should all expect!

When checking in at front desk was not friendly at all. Don't bother registering guest in your room because I did for me my husband and son. As front desk slid over two papers for breakfast asked me to fill them out and bring them back.I told her I was missing a paper when she rudely informed me only two breakfast are entitled to each room after I already told her I was traveling for over 5 and a half hours with husband and son not family friendly at all. Do I need to say we didn't eat the with there poor attitude. Room was clean small doors touching bed. Face cloths where royal blue which is werid. They also text you after check in never heard of that before. Now you can understand why the parking lot is empty. If traveling threw peace river AVOID this place at all cost. No free breakfast false advertising. No pool on site zero perks.

Good Morning Holly, Thank you for reviewing out hotel on Trip Advisor. I am sorry your experience was less than satisfactory at our hotel. This is certainly not the service standards we pride ourselves upon. We offer room rates inclusive of breakfast as well as rates that are not - depending upon the guest preference and price point. All registered guests are eligible for breakfast which includes a list of items guests can choose from. We do not pre order or fill in forms for this - in light of COVID 19 the whole process is touchless and you only need to provide the service staff in the restaurant with your room number. We have a variety of room types available depending upon travelers needs. We do not advertise or offer a pool and in light of COVID 19 our Fitness Centre is currently closed for guest safety. We utilize a system called KIPSU to SMS our guests ensuring they can reach out for anything they may need during their stay - shortly after checking in we like to check on guests to be sure they have all they need. the KIPSU SMS system operates in many hotels in North America and the use of it is on the rise as a result of the current pandemic and the move to touchless processes. The parking lots surrounding our hotel are large to facilitate parking where convenient for the guest as well as large trucks, campers and RV's. We do our best to deliver above average customer service; to ensure this we check in with SMS text messaging as well as post stay surveys which are reviewed daily. Booked two weeks in advance with a credit card. When my Family arrived, no reservation could be found. Booked for two nights, woke up in the morning by housekeeping because they thought we had only booked for 1 night. Key card stopped working three seperate times (did not store near my cell phone or bank cards). The body wash and shampoo would barely lather up.

I had an awful experience today.
My husband had ordered eggs benedict and it was not good. The taste was awful, not cooked how we ordered it.
The server seemed to be upset that he was returning it back. Then said well you must pay for this and the other nrw item you want. Never have I heard of that.
Going forward I asked the manager to why we would have to pay for this food that was awful.
He agreed in the end but raised his voice to what hr wanted instead.
After that him and the kitchen staff were talking about us.
I heard them calling him names, making fun of the eggs benedict so forth.
I then told the server how rude that is and if they need to say these nssty things to come out.
I confronted the one cook. My guests heard them as well.
I never had been in this situation before.. I have my family and toddler with us. I will never go back to thos restaurant again. I did pay my bill and left without finishing any of our food.
Be aware that you may have a bad experience too. They don't care snd talk about you and laugh. There is more that went wrong, but this eas the main reason for my review.

Our executive suite was very clean. Love the layout of the room. We had everything we needed and some. Our second night we returned to our room with a bag hanging on the door with a nice selection of teas. Very thoughtful! Bed was very comfortable and the shower is amazing. Our complimentary breakfast was very enjoyable and the service was fantastic!! I highly recommend the Sawridge, you won’t be disappointed!! Staff are all very friendly and make sure all of your needs are looked after. Great hotel to stay at and can’t wait to return.

One of my favourite home away from homes when I am working out of town. This hotel is always clean & the staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They took great care of our large group that was staying in Peace River over the past week. Easy walking to the old downtown area.
